• If its Wildstorm Midnighter he stomps.
• If its New 52 Midnighter he wins though not in a stomp.

wolverine can win midnighter is stronger and maybe faster but h can't keep wolverine down and wolverine can still cut him to ribbons.

midnighter can use doors to chop of his head. Logan cant even survive that

If Wolvie isn't actually focused and utilizes his beserk and skills rather than just being a meat shield he could take this more times than not. Midnighter should still win the majority.

Logan gets steamrolled.

Anyway since I'm here, Wildstorm Midnighter takes it. While I'm not as knowledgable on the reboot, He's got a good shot too based on what I've seen, though I wouldn't be surprised if Wolverine took a win there.

@risingbean: lets have an actual debate you realize that 90 percent of the comments on this thread is 1 or 2 word answers no scans no evidence just people mentioning 2 highend feats for midnighter.

and midnighter wins against anyone short of silver surfer level and yet i have not seen one good reason for it noone ever shows any feats for him.

Doors. Fast appearing warps in dimensional space that could leave Logan stranded in a sun or possibly dismembered. Midnighter says Door and he can use them for transport or offense.

Battle Computer. Wolverine is a beast of a foe, but he isn't undefeatable. Midnighter has the strength to dismember opponents barehanded (not that he'll do it here), the speed to combat speedsters with more ease then Logan and the durability to take some damage should he have to. Then you give Midnighter a mcguffin that pretty much grants him precog. For example he knows Logan is going to tank a blow and go for a slash and then try to use a sweep to trip him up before Logan does. Short of a fluke (or PIS depending on your point of view) like the battle computer not taking something into account, Logan's every flaw is something Midnighter knows, his every move will be seen coming a mile away and he isn't going to win when Midnighter has already had the luxury of fighting that fight over and over in his head until he worked out a scenario where he bests the X-Man.

With that, I don't have any scans for you, but if you look up any Midnighter vs thread, there is a good chance Buckshot or somebody has dropped some and given the context to go with it.

@risingbean: it is unlikely midnighter would use a door here because he likes violence and to be tested in physical way this is the best guy for that he won't use a door unless he has too.

2. with wolverine midnighter can only rip off flesh he won't be able to dismember wolverine like he does most of his opponents. at the starting point wolverine and midnighter are about the same in speed and strength but the battle computer is a big advantage but won't work if and when wolverine goes berserk and wolverine still keeps his skill and without his battle computer midnighter can't hang with logan in skill granted midnighter will have a short stat advantage but that burns out when wolverine goes berserk he heals faster he will be able to outlast midnighters stat burst and once that happens it's piece of cake for wolverine granted mindighter could luck up and knock wolverine out before he goes berserk but thats unlikely judging by some of the hits wolverine has taken from the hulk and the thing.

Who says the battle computer wouldn't work if Wolverine goes berzerk? Midnighter isn't Mr. X. Also if that were to be the case why wouldn't Midnighter simply fall back on using a door? With that, even without his computer, Midnighter could still hang, though Wolverine's chances to win to way up. I'd even say he takes a majority in that case if doors were not an issue.

In character this is probably a 10 round free for all that ends with Wolverine laid out.

@risingbean: no he isn't mr x but his powers by description works the same way he reads the pulse in your brain to figure out what you are going to do next but if wolverine goes berserk than it's a no go.

i suppose midnighter might use a door in a last case thing or useit if he is in a hurry.

other wise this is a long nasty fight regardless.

Um. No. Midnighter has some weird stuff he knows with his battle comp. Stuff he shouldn't be able to know. I forget off the top of my head some of the stuff he has picked up on, but trust me when I say something as simple as Wolverine going berzerk isn't going to have any effect on it. It's pretty much magical precog but from a sci-fi source. I did dig up a scan where he explains it. See for yourself.

Wildstorm Midnighter borderline stomps. But I am willing to make a case for Logan taking a few wins over DCU Midnighter

Wolvie would get obliterated by Midnighter.

I think a fair match would be Logan, Creed, X23, Daken and Deadpool vs Midnighter...maybe

@risingbean: that is just like a danger room it takes into account character the machine helps him by predicting what will more than likely happen. i am sure it's been wrong unless it's magic or hyperbole that he uses mess with people heads.

if it worked that way he would have beaten battalion his tp wouldn't have mattered because he would have already known how to beat him and known he was going to use it but he didn't he would have also beaten zealot which he didn't. so he has to know who he is fighting before hand to get an accurate account he didn't know he was going to be fighting battailon or zealot they were working together in both cases then had an argument and got into a fight so it appears that part don't work on the fly just the main part that has stated it works off the electrical pulses thing.

Neither is Wolverine, nor was he ever meant to be. (His first appearance was as a Hulk opponent, remember.)

This fight would go the same way his first two fights with Tomi went, but even more violent.
