Wolverine vs. Luke Cage

Wolverine wins.  He's gone toe 2 toe with Classic Hulk.  Why would Powerman pose more of a challenge ?

Wolverine can't take damage unphased, he gets hurt, goes down for a TKO and then his healing factor kicks in
 
I'm going with Cage because his durability means Wolverine can't instantly kill him, this isn't a bunch of ninjas or hydra agents it will take a while to get through PowerMan's invunerable skin. He's also a much better fighter than people give him credit for, he has beat down IronFist a guy who has bested Wolverine, he has beat down Sabretooth another who beat Wolverine, he has taken powerful explosive blasts unphased, he has fought Hulk and Wonder Man while soaking up their blows, took Rhinos best shots unphased, knocked Ironman around, lifted a truck and chucked it through the air, one-shot Goblin, lifted Wolverine and threw him Colossus style fast balling over a mountain to hit a frost giant
 
So yes IMO he can BFR Wolverine

Wolverine wins because of the adamantium. Luke tends to soak up damage but someone who can actually harm him will take him down quickly.

wolverine should win,his claws can hurt cage,but cage is pretty strong so wolverine would want to get into a brawl trading hits with him. if wolverine use all his martial arts skills for once.instead of fighting crazy brawler style,he could win pretty easy. 

Wolverine. He's a better fighter, can heal any and all damage Cage could dish out, and he, unlike most heroes, is totally ok with killing. Logan stomps. Even if somehow the adamantium couldn't piece Cage's skin, Logan could just stab him in the eyes. Fight over.

Wolverine should win this. Adamantium and high powered lasers can break Luke's skin. Wolverine can hurt Luke pretty easily. Wolverine has better fighting abilities as he is a master a multiple martial arts. Though Luke's fighting abilities are no joke as he has had extensive training with Iron Fist, Wolverine is a better fighter hands down, due to his rich history of government/special training.  
 
Everyone knows Wolverine can be KO'ed, but it takes an insane amount of head trauma. I am sure I don't have to remind people that he has fought the Hulk on numerous occasions, and though has been KO'ed by Hulk, it took multiple hits. Luke Cage is roughly class 25 (25 tons), and the Hulk is well beyond that in calm state.  
 
Wolverine also has the agility, reflex, and stamina advantage. 

Can Wolverine's claws pierce his skin?

Wolverine wins, of course! He'd stick Cage in two seconds! Luke isn't even that strong... He's like, what, twice as strong as Spider-Man with none of the agility? Wolverine's claws can cut through anything. He wins, hands down.

When Iron Man's telling him to stand down, he says there's nothing his suit can do to hurt him. Seriously? The suit's a little more  powerful than a guy with titanium skin. Not to mention 4 times as strong
