Put to the test, how much poison can his heart really take?
Wolverine vs being stung 100 times by a dozen Scorpions
Depends on the type of scorpion. There are some that are completely harmless to humans. So if wolverine was stung one hundred times of those, it wouldn't be an issue for him at all. Where as if a regular human were to be stung that many times by one of the even least harmless ones they could have some problems.
He was completely incinerated to the bone by Nitro and healed back to 100% in a matter of minutes. I do not think that scorpion venom, in any amount, will affect him. He will probably metabolize it faster than dozens of scorpions can deliver it.
Toxins from venom work differently than just being able to destroy cells. They attack the nervous system. If Wolverine's body does not produce anymore electricity, cells begin to stop and die and the organs will suffer from this. Healing factor won't be able to help if there is no nervous system controlling cell regeneration. Being stung by that many scorpions multiple times like that, might kill him. The 1st thing that would happen is he's going to go through shock, 2nd, he will stop breathing because each pump of the heart will take in heavy doses of scorpion venom. 3rd, one his lungs shut down, he would be able to circulate his blood and renew the blood with oxygen. Once the entire nervous system gives out, no electricity is being generated anymore, (the heart is not beating anymore and the brain becomes fried) Even the Defibrillation the Dr. used won't be able to bring you back to life.
Wolvies got this. I think once in Wolverine: Weapon X, he got shot with 36 types of cancer and still kept going.
