@comicstooge: I think their skill is way too close to judge honestly... from what I know barnes had a great fight against steve? Whereas dick stalemated deathstroke and Cassandra Cain and had a great yet inconclusive fight against midnighter, and nightwing's speed/agility advantage does make a difference in my eyes

Also, the arm thing, I remember dick taking hits from blockbuster, cyborg superman (though it was on offhand hit and I may still be wrong) and running through multiple talons and not dying despite not really recovering.

Nightwing has defeated someone with a trick arm, KGBeast (who stalemated Batman in a protracted battle so thoroughly that Batman never KO'd or incapacitated Beast---he had to lock the Russian in a vault like room to "win"); SEVERAL Winter Soldier like opponents-a skilled combatant with sharp shooter skills (including the aforementioned KGBeast, Vigilante, a Talon and Red Hood) a man with arguably the MOST powerful weapon (Hal Jordan Green Lantern) and people who's whole BODIES are weapons (Cyborg, Dr. Phospherous, Hardsell, and Clayface). Grayson has faced much, MUCH graver threats than Buckye---which is why he would beat Winter Soldier.

@zill0678: Could the Winter Soldier pull of the trick shots Nightwing has? I haven't seen him come close... Barnes has a gun but I think Dick is the better marksman so... no... and no one is stomping anyone... unless they have an arm wrestling competition with their left arms...

Besides guns aren't much for Dick he's been dodging shots from skilled marksmen since he was like 12

And we can say that Barnes has better gear (though I doubt it) but I can say Grayson has better abilities

@acrokat: normal guns are different from nick's weaponry that can throw around the like of thor in Original Sin, these weapons take out high end metas. Not street level scrubs.

@vivide: Are you talking about Barnes's own gear or stuff he borrows from other people? Cause Grayson has friends in high places as well... and I doubt Barnes would resort to "high end meta killing" gear on Nightwing, but Dick is more than willing to use his suit taser on people trying to kill him (Saiko for example) and how can Bucky even pull out these instant win guns before Dick uses his hypnos?

Nightwing is much faster and more skilled, he snares WS up in a rope and beat him to death .

@acrokat: he's morally more suited for the job moreso than grayson, one guy began as hero transitioning into a spy. The other started as a soldier serving in a war then transitioning into a killer in space. Robot arm comes with better reflex timings.

@vivide: Dick's whole body has better reflexes and he is faster, and like I mentioned above he is highly durable, even if Barnes hit him (which would not be easy) he can take it. Also Dick has crushed/broken titanium alloy just by stepping on it, and his striking force with his sticks is enough to cause Gorilla Grodd pain and knows a lot of pressure points, if Dick lands a well aimed hit on Barnes's cyber arm he might do some damage to it

@vance_astro: Your statement is irrelevent because (A) A man (KGBeast) who can stalemate Batman in a prolonged battle so completely that the Dark Knight has to finally lock him in a vault to "win" is at LEAST as skilled as Barnes; (B) Buckye is not all THAT more skilled than the others, the point being that Grayson has handled LOTS of people with Buckye's skill sets; heck, he's beaten (Cheshire, Ra's Al Ghul, Ravager) or stalemated (Cassandra Cain, Deathstroke, Batman himself) some of the most skilled fighters in the world, and has been dealing with people shooting at him since he was EIGHT; (C) having greater combat skills doesn't always give one a win-who would win in a fight, Shang Chi or Hulk? The point is many have made a big deal about Bucky's arm, and I gave just a PARTIAL list of people Nightwing has defeated who's whole BODIES are weapons, so a SINGLE limb that is weaponized holds no terror for Grayson.

Nightwing's suit didn't used to be as bullet-resistant as it is New 52 if I remember correctly and Bucky's a crack shot, I'd give the majority to Winter Soldier.

Bucky should take this fight, he's either just as skilled or more skilled than Grayson in terms of H2H, he has guns that he has no reservation about using and is a pretty damn good shot. His arm seals the deal, Nightwing has no counter to it, at all.

What are his "better" marksmanship feats? What feats of Bucky's are you comparing Grayson's feats with? From my memory, Grayson is still a gun noob and only recently started using them.

And your argument is that he'll take WS's gun away from him and use it against him. How does it easily take WS's gun away from him and how many times out of 10 rounds do you think he'll successfully take Bucky's guns away from him and be able to use it against him?

I haven't read much of Bucky...but I still think Bucky would win. Dick is a good fighter obviously, but I read someone say that he's a "Batman Junior"...um no. He might have been trained and raised by Bruce, but really, Tim is the Batman Junior (albeit more mentally than physically). I think OP said standard gear too, so Bucky would win, what with his arm, past military experience, and handling in weapons (New-52 Grayson can use guns okay, but he's not as experienced imo). Dick is good with his batons (?), and he's quick and lithe, but I really just don't think he'd win.

@slimj87d: His specialty is throwing and that's what I was referring to, while a thrown gun is slower than a bullet he has shown that he can do trick shots with his guns or sticks, and I am not saying it would be easy... just saying it's highly possible

@acrokat: @slimj87d: In Nightwing issue 117 Grayson disarmed a META HUMAN skilled marksman, Deathstroke, who is BETTER than Barnes. Not to mention numerous other skilled marksmen (Red Hood, Trigger Twins, Lady Vic, Vigilante, KGBeast, etc., etc.) Barnes has NOTHING that Grayson hasn't seen, faced, and defeated before.

And disarming Barnes isn't my only argument, stalemating Cassandra Cain, Deathstroke, and Batman, hypnos, superior speed and agility, similar gear, more than capable power, and his body reading ability... yeah it won't be easy but Grayson should win with all this crap at his disposal

@acrokat: Yeah, marksmanship is actually someone that uses guns.

In a giant fight with Bucky vs Hawkeye, Wolverine and Daredevil, Bucky was distracted by Wolverine and Daredevil in his front. This was at night time mind you, so it would be really hard to see. Hawkeye, from behind Bucky feet away, fired 3 arrows at Bucky and Bucky turned around and shot all 3 arrows out of midair. He also has caught Hawkeye's arrows with ease multiple times and has near instantly threw them at Wolverine temporarily taking Wolverine out, this arrow was also shot at Bucky from behind while Wolverine had just downed him on the ground. He's also taken a normal arrow with his normal hand and thrown it through a man's chest.

Hawkeye is one of the best projectile shooters in comics in general. I don't think Dick can throw anything at Bucky that Bucky can't deal with. Bucky's ability to shoot out Hawkeye's arrows at night shot from his back and to catch and throw Hawkeye's arrows again fired him behind reassures me that projectiles from Dick shouldn't be anymore threatening than Hawkeye using a bow and arrow against Bucky.

2:Shooting... shooting... you can HEAR an arrow being fired so it's not hard to believe that Barnes heard Hawkeye... now Grayson isn't SHOOTING at Barnes DIRECTLY, it's not his strong point, he will trick shot with his sticks or guns, I haven't seen Winter Soldier dodge the same exact thrown projectile two times in a row in a short amount of time

And Archers are marksmen, knife throwers are marksmen, marksmanship isn't limited to guns

@paragonnate: Lady Vic, Deathstroke, Trigger Twins, Red Hood, the Bludhaven S.W.A.T team, and many, MANY more skilled marksmen that "have no reservation" about using their weapons have all tried and FAILED to take out Grayson; Nightwing has also defeated many people who's limbs, and even whole BODIES were weapons. Unless you can show why Winter Soldier's bullets are somehow more "special" than all those others, or why his arm is somehow more "special" than Cyborg, Clayface, and countless others whole weaponized BODIES, your arguments have no merit whatsoever.

And what would be Buck's defense against hypnos as even midnighter couldn't avoid it?
