The fight takes place in an alley in New York, Filled with containers, trash cans etc...

I think Wildcat has a good chance seeing as this battle takes place in an alley. He could hide behind a container even pushing it towards him. Throw stuff at him. When engaged in physical combat i think he has the better fighting skills enough to dodge pete's attacks.
