Wildcat vs Captain America
" @vuviper: When I was doing some research on Wildcat (for that other thread) I don't remember coming across anything that said he had mastered any other form besides being a Professional Boxer. "There's a scan with his bio, noting the styles that he's mastered. It's not just boxing.

" I agree but I want to point out that wildcat is actually a master of several martial arts as well, muai tai, krav maga, capoiera, hapkido etc. Also he seems to have pretty good knowledge of pressue points "
" @Gambler: Where did Vuviper get these styles from then?If I had to guess I would say the JSA comics. But you'd have to ask him. He seems pretty knowledgeable and I doubt he would make them up. Hopefully when he comes back on he'll drop some knowledge.

Wildcat is highly skilled and it would definitely be a good fist fight. i mean, he knows fighting. But wildcat has about as much of a chance of beating cap as your average cop has of surviving the act of giving Lady Shiva a speeding ticket. you just cant get around the "perfect" specimen of human development and conditioning. his physiology prevents him from getting fatigued and he's got... what? a six foot vertical leap and an unbreakable shield. maybe without the shield he would land a punch or two on Cap... but after cap starts flipping and hitting wildcat with that shield it starts going downhill.

"yeah, if this isn't an unarmed fight Wildcat's chance drop considerably. But in a fist fight I'd say he has a good chance. Captain America is the clear winner because he has Wildcat beat in every area, but because I think Wildcat is actually pretty close to cap in most everything, wildcat actually could win like 3/10
" @Gambler said:I don't think he was talking about that type of stool...." Wildcat purposely puts his opponents stool in the ring before the rounds over. "If I had to fight Wildat in the ring I'd probably leave a stool sample too. "
@nighthunter: I feel like wild cat is the better fighter just not as strong or as durable as cap
