Why was my thread locked?

I don't get why my thread was locked both characters have been in comics, the battle has been created before but I was using a different version of the character (his most recent appearance which includes a revamp) it was also stated in the thread. I'm starting to get very agitated because many of my threads get locked for know good reason. What the mods should do instead of acting like trigger happy cowboys (their are mods who try to help so you guys can ignore this) is to actually give advice on how to better improve threads and to make the more fair and to explain the rules to some of the new users on here so they can stop making threads that get locked since it is their jobs to improve the site and help users. I'm just saying you guys don't have to ban everything in sight their are alternate options.
