I'm begining to see the growing group of users kept claiming Batman beats Silver Surfer, Galactus, Thor, Odin, etc just because he has some prep. Please might as well say he beats God as long as he has prep.

NO human being should be defeating a being that can move at the speed of light, smash planets with ease, and has the power to resist black holes. Fix that for you. Though moving at the speed of light is "theoretically impossible", you don't know what an alien being from other planets is capable of, which makes all his other powers possible (well, maybe not on the scale of busting planets). Sure, it is for entertainment, but at the same time you have to draw a line at where something stops. There's no reason a man can defeat someone like that.

PS. Besides Superman's incredible speed (which is debatable) and his planet shattering hits (also debatable) every single one of his other powers can be possible because we have never encounter another being from another planet, who was nurtured under another atmosphere from ours. Why is this always a argument used by Batman fans. "it is fer entertainment derp it doesn't matterere", that doesn't mean we can't debate on it...

Because it is entertainment. Writers don't give one cent about the battle forum and comparing character who would never fight let alone see one another.

None of it is real there is a guy named Superman who can fly without wings or anything propelling him, he can shoot lasers out of his eyes, he can lift trunks one handed, bullets break on his skin like obviously none of this is realistic. People on here act like Batman actually exist and is sitting here trying to apply real life physics to a person who doesn't exist. Just like if the writers says Bugs Bunny can stomp the whole DBZ and Naruto universe by himself I believe him since none of these characters are real and it is up to him how strong he wants to make these characters.

Stan Lee said it best when people were asking him who would win if Galactus fought the Hulk or if Spider-man fought The Thing, and I liked his answer: "These are fictitious characters the writers can do whatever they want with them."

Even though it's true, he literally avoided the question. I feel like he said this so people can buy marvel comics in genral, saying one comic hero is superior to the other might make the fan base stop buying the weaker series books.

If you make a ridiculously weak batman level characters beat the crap out of a sky father character, in name of prep or plot suit, that just means you are a shitty author who has no respect for the characters in its own verse .
