Batman wins

He gave Dick closure.

He got Jason off the streets and gave him a better home.

He gave Tim a purpose in life.

He got Damian to stop killing.

Reed Richards would win. I mean he found a way to take Galactus.

@BlueHope: Hey out of all the dads in the comicbook world Batman is the best

Reed Richards beats his kids and wife.

Magneto is never around.

Punisher errr

Omni-man is a mass murderer even though he is getting better.

And hey, he only screwed up with Jason.

Reed ftw

@DarkKnightDetective: Jonathan Kent is the best comic book dad.

#8 Posted by Dark_Vengeance_ (15127 posts) - - Show Bio

@coolguyr99: I was talking superhero wise and no alternative realities.

#9 Posted by mk111 (3139 posts) - - Show Bio

@Ultra_Girl_:

Is that a real comic? Becuase it made me LOL hard.

Anyway, I guess I would go with Reed.

#10 Posted by coolguyr99 (3019 posts) - - Show Bio

@DarkKnightDetective: Maybe Alan Scott?

#11 Posted by Dark_Vengeance_ (15127 posts) - - Show Bio

@coolguyr99: I lack knowledge when it comes to Alan Scott, he is who's father?

#12 Posted by kuma_far (510 posts) - - Show Bio

@DarkKnightDetective: You really hsave a fixation with Batman dont you?

I think Reed Richards is a better father between him and the Punisher

Comic-book dads I think Uncle Ben takes the cake, he is pratically Peter's dad...

Yes (What If...) but come on look out strict and loving the punisher is!

He also scolded Galactus into submission!

#14 Posted by Pokergeist (22351 posts) - - Show Bio

@Ultra_Girl_: Punisher wins. Reed is a work acholic and Galactus on his side pwns along with Doom.

Not to mention Frank can force Galactus to write on a chalkboard 500 times.

with a tiny piece of chalk!

@Ultra_Girl_:

Now that is a punishment.

#18 Posted by Ultra_Girl_ (1248 posts) - - Show Bio

@mk111: well he is the Ultimate Punisher out of all of them.

#19 Posted by joshmightbe (24690 posts) - - Show Bio

@RobocopSlayerT800: He also doesn't even notice his kids exist unless they become part of a life, world or universe threatening event

#20 Posted by mk111 (3139 posts) - - Show Bio

@joshmightbe:

Well, of course. Before they become part of an event like that, they aren't important.

:P

Yeah, Reed takes no notice of his kids. Frank's firm but fair (as seen with Electro, Blob, Doom and Galactus).

#22 Posted by joshmightbe (24690 posts) - - Show Bio

@ComicStooge: Frank was great with his kids prior to the mob gunning them down. Reed on the other hand wouldn't remember to feed his kids without the rest of the F4 around.

Damn, Reed sounds like a total dick!

@Pokeysteve: But trained them, the only one that died was Jason and that was because he disobeyed. And it doesn't even matter because he came back to life later on.

When's the last time Frank Castle took his children on a magical adventure through time and space?

Or Batman.

He took 4 extremely underage kids and put them against proven murderers. There is no possible way you can spin that into a positive lol.

#32 Posted by Dark_Vengeance_ (15127 posts) - - Show Bio

@Shawnbaby: That was retconned, you have nothing on me.

#33 Posted by Dark_Vengeance_ (15127 posts) - - Show Bio

@Pokeysteve: Yes I can.

Dick would have been thrown into arkham because he was traumatized with the death of his parents.

Jason would have turned into a criminal.

Tim, err, well he would have had a pretty good life.

Ra's al ghul would have taken over Damian's body.

#34 Posted by Immortal777 (7735 posts) - - Show Bio

I'll say Jonathan Kent would be better than all not only did he raise a child that could crush his head like a grape fruit but he had a hand in shaping the greatest superhero.

Also killed him.

@YoungJustice: reference to other posts, Batman didn't kill him, he disobeyed orders and went after Joker, he got himself killed and as I remember at the time Jason was about 17 to 18 years old. He wasn't a little kid.

#40 Posted by Dark_Vengeance_ (15127 posts) - - Show Bio

@xeon1cs: Yeah Midnighter is my second choice lol.

No Batman=No Dealing With Joker=Alive Jason

And with Batman and his other boy wonder's securing the streets, Jason would have been fine.

#43 Posted by BlueHope (360 posts) - - Show Bio

@DarkKnightDetective: Just give up dude, there is no possible excuse to put a kid , teenager or even a young adult to fight with someone like Joker

#44 Posted by Dark_Vengeance_ (15127 posts) - - Show Bio

@YoungJustice: No Batman= Gotham governed by crime and corruption.

No he wouldn't have, he would have become a criminal, he was a thief, they met because Jason was stealing, and at the time Dick was Nightwing and he worked in Bludhaven.

#45 Posted by Dark_Vengeance_ (15127 posts) - - Show Bio

@BlueHope: Why would I? 3/4 of his sidekicks turned out just fine, and people fuss about it too much. There plenty of other sidekicks and people just like to poke at Batman's, it honestly gets annoying how much people hate Batman.

I mean...this thread wasn't even about Batman to begin with. What were you expecting?

#47 Posted by Dark_Vengeance_ (15127 posts) - - Show Bio

@xeon1cs: I know, but I make a comment and everyone starts hating.

#48 Edited by BlueHope (360 posts) - - Show Bio

@DarkKnightDetective: I don't hate batman, he is one of my fav superheroes, I just hate that terrible nosense of batman having a underage boy with colorfull clothes helping him to fight with people extremely dangerous

#49 Posted by Shawnbaby (10869 posts) - - Show Bio

Never trust a man that likes to dress up little boys in Spandex.

Anyone wondering why Batman fan boys have a bad image look no further than this thread. Read the OP and thread title, no mention of Batman what so ever yet 90% of this thread is about Batman.
