They saved the earth five times in the first season of their show and Thor has destroyed large portions of new york with simple blasts of him hammer and in their first episode the avengers each with standed hundreds of g's from a guy that can control gravity.

True but the cartoon is funny as well, especially moments with Hawkeye and Hulk are funny but I laughed so hard when the Fantastic Four and Avengers team up against Doom.
