Yeaahhh......
The fact Mirror Master's getting voted ahead of a guy(Shade) who's stated as capable of giving The Spectre difficulty(by Dr. Fate), is pretty indicative of being pretty damn overrated.
Yeah, yeah. "Statements ain't feats", but I haven't seen anything suggesting Shade wouldn't absolutely maul McCulloch, if he were so inclined.
Considering statements AND feats, as well as noting Mirror Master's main advantage against most opponents is his extra-dimensional arsenal, there's nothing he could do to neutralize Shade(who's powers are fundamentally extar-dimensional in nature, and include teleportation between realms as a 101).
Hell, I'd favor Abra Kadabra over Mirror Master as well(unless Mirror Master were bloodlusted and/or out of character, and assuming Abra Kadabra wasn't the same).
The key difference being I've seen Shade being proclaimed AND demonstrating power on a tremendous scale. Same with Abra Kadabra, to the point of reality-warping(high-end meta/super-humans).
Mirror Master has operated on a more modest scale.
Shade seems to keep a low profile. What big feats does he have outside of statements and the covering the planet in shadow? He's easily the best character here imo but Id love to learn more about his bigger feats
@supermanwithatan01: You may be mistaking him with Obsidian(as I don't recall him covering the planet/earth in darkness), which in and of itself embarrasses the scope of anything Mirror-Master's achieved/exhibited offensively.
Of course you're aware of him effortlessly covering a city in an impregnable force-field, and the instance you probably had in mind was the second one here, where it's worth pointing out they mentioned "small planetS and asteroidS". Plural.
I don't think I've ever seen Mirror-Master exhibit offensive/combative power over the span of half a city, let alone an entire one with no effort that had Dr. Fate proving absolutely ineffective. With backup.
Otherwise, his(Shade's) feats while more modest, don't really otherwise contradict his alluded potency.
Except for his showing against Prometheus.
That was fuking stupid, hahaha.
@xiix: haha thanks for the feats. Incidentally though, McCullough has turned the ground beneath a city into Glass, moving everyone into a mirror verse. I think all 3 characters are very underrated but Shades probably my favorite. I just wish they'd unleash him a bit ya know?
@supermanwithatan01: Hm. Not sure I know that one? You have a scan?(I believe you, but just curious besides).
I agree. But I suppose it's all part of Shade's character, since he is generally neutral to conflict, and (literally) 19th century-level reserved in conduct.
Doesn't get much more badass than having a Black Lantern rip your heart out, then proceed to have said heart kick it's ass though.
@supermanwithatan01: Thanks.
@xiix: no problem
@xiix: so overall, morals off and no messing around who do you think takes a majority?
@heirtothekingdom: do you know if Swift is currently in any ongoing?

I don't think he is.
@heirtothekingdom: lame, thanks.
