Who Should be the Villain in Justice League Movie(2015)

Anyone but Darkseid, he is way too cool for the first movie,

hmm...kind of agree with you, but it will be cool for Darkseid to make a short after credit apperance.

At the rate they're going about it we won't know for another 10 years.

I would like them to save a big villain who can them fight all at once for a later movie when they've fromed the team already. The first movie should be about them needing to unite in order to stop a group of villains who they cant stop individualy.

@jackofspades: no it probably wont but the probability of it making more money then the avengers is low since there is only man of steel build up. If man of steel is better or as great as TDK trilogy then it has a better chance.

@Nightflash: I think braniac would be the best. I would make braniac make Amazo and he sends Amazo to earth to take out Earths powerfulest heroes and they have to beat Amazo and they come together for Amazo then Batman or Cyborg do somehow figure out what Braniac is that would be cool.

Is this considered a battle? Just curious.

I would love to see Darkseid as a villain certainly looks like its going in the same direction but its going to be very much like Avengers and people are going to say DC copied Marvel when in fact Darkseid was created before Thanos.

@Nightflash: Yeah and they would have to use team work to do it with Batman telling them a strategy.

Im pretty sure Darkseid was confirmed as the villiain, i really dont mind to be honest im only gonna watch it for Batman.

Darkseid, Brainiac or even a lesser known villain could be used as long as they have an individual presence along with cannon fodder for the group to beat on, a group of villains is a terrible idea for the first movie as we will already be dealing with multiple new heroes but could be a great idea for the second if they have been developed in spin-offs.

I'd like to see the team come together to thwart a challenging villian like brainiac or darkseid,,,let's just hope batman isn't a reclusive gimp in this movie

First movie should be Vandal Savage. After he loses cut scene after credits of him in his cell or whatever and he gets a visit or call saying he should have brought the others...Second movie, Legion of Doom

As long as it's not Lex Luthor, i'm happy. He's been in plenty of movies and shows now.

1st Movie villain - Unites a team/individual towards a certain cause.

Rahs Al Guhl, Green Goblin, Magneto, Deacon Frost, Iron Monger, Rasputin, Bullseye & Kingpin, Mephisto,Loki & Chitari.

2nd Movie villain - Makes the team or an individual question and ultimately strengthen his cause.

Joker & Two Face, Doc Oc, William Stryker, The Reaper, Whiplash, Prince Nuada,

3rd Movie villain -` The one that can't quite be defeated by normal means alone and will ultimately define a characters heroic nature. Bane & Talia Al Guhl, Venom & Sandman, The Brotherhood of Mutants, Dracula, The Mandarin.

So Ideally.

1. White Martians (tie in well with introducing Jonn)

2. Darkseid

3. Anti Moniter ending in the death of Flash.

I think Brainiac is the safest choice not much has to be explained about him and I'm sure he has a lot of fodder for the JL to smack around.Also they could use the JL cartoon episodes 1 and 2, etc that would be safe story to go by as well. DC heroes don't need individual movies to introduce their heroes because 5 out of the 7 JL ( Superman, Batman,WW, GL, Aquaman) members people know them already. Marvel had to introduce their heroes because people didn't know who the hell Ironman, Cap, Thor and etc where to begin with.

Amazo is not my choice either... but I hope they will put him at the end credit scene, showing Lex checking a giant robot(Amazo)...that will be great too. The end credit scene can implies the villain in the 3rd film, not just only the 2nd movie of the franchise.

For a 1st movie, Starro makes alotta of sense.

Probably Amazo. I can see a villain which forces the League to band together and work as a team to pull a victory, and Amazo is a good choice for exactly that. He could also provide the "face yourself" sort of thing.

They should hold off on Darkseid. I think they need to build up to him. I like the idea of White Martians, then you'd have an intro to MM.

As long as it's a good film it will be hugely successful, the Avengers 2 film is fantastic publicity for the JL film as it will be seen as one vs the other.

Doomsday, Amazo, and Despero would actually be my three initial choices based on popularity and a good first time villain. But if I had to pick a character whom I think would make a badass movie villain, I would like to see Eclipso or Black Adam.
