Spider-Man

Batman

Superman

Dr. Doom

Joker

Deathstroke

Each combatant is given a Green Lantern ring, a detailed instructional manual of the rings inner workings, and 1 year. Who becomes the most powerful lantern? (DC characters initial knowledge of the ring is no longer applicable)

Daredevil.

Nah, I'll say Doctor Doom, because he just seems to break things. Give Joker a yellow lantern ring and we can talk.

First, just being a killjoy here I know, but Dr. Doom and the Joker would never receive a ring due to their *evil* nature.......but then again, I guess neither really know fear either do they?

Second, I want to say Batman but I think that's the easy way out.

I'm gonna go with Dr. Doom for now, give him a planet to rule over and no harm will ever come to it as long as he's alive. He'll also keep his quadrant free of any riff raff he thinks will try to bring any to his neck of the cosmos.

Then Superman, Batman, Deathstroke, Joker (in his own insane way), and finaly Spider-Man.

Sinestro has had a GL ring despite being an "evil" dictator. So that really shouldn't rule out Doom, who actually turned Latervia into a crime-less superpower through his rule.

Just give Albert Wesker a Sinestro Corps ring. Then you have a reason to fear.

Doom is gonna take the ring, fly to OA steal the power from the guardians first, then the lantern battery, then go looking for Parallax and steal power from him (or should i say it) then go looking for ION and do exactly the same to him (it) and come back to kill Reed richards, thats doom for you :)

This is why I gave him the ring. Also why I put evil in **.

I thought this exactly when I read the characters names. Spidey has endured so much, he could win by will alone, not to mention that he is pretty smart and creative.

Gonna be different and say Joker, i think out of everyone his imagination is the best... in an odd, torturing, crazy, homicidal type of way, though his will is probably a few notches below the rest of these people.

Edit: Actually, Joker's will is kinda powerful, his belief in what he believes in is unbreakable, and it takes quite a lot to make him "unhappy".

Y'all need to give Joker some more credit, he's got some crazy ass willpower. Batman himself has acknowledged this several times before. Not to mention, I don't think anyone can deny he's the most "creative" of the bunch.

I wouldnt say he is the most creative, but he is very creative. Still, I think Peter's will is the biggest. You cant squash the Spider's will

Doom. The man's willpower and lack of fear is enormous. Pre-retcon beyonder was dissecting him and he had enough will to push through, activate a device and steal Beyonder's powers. He clearly isn't afraid of anyone and he's pretty damn capable of protecting the planet. I see no reason why a whole sector would be any different. If his anti-hero (not villainous) nature would get in the way of that (I don't see why, Sinestro became a Lantern), then I'd say Bats.

Doom pieced himself back together atom by atom, eradicated all traces of his original self, sufficient to fool the Marquis of Death (a multiversal threat), who he then joined in killing universes with all the while learning everything he could and plotting his revenge.

Unless I am mistaken, his revenge took millions or billions of years and spanned multiple universes. The sheer amount of people Doom was willing to kill (universes of them) to achieve his goal is astounding. This was in Millar's run IIRC.

He wins.
