Tell who do u think is the strongest in dragon ball z
Who is the strongest dragon ball z character of all
@ultimate626: If you count the movies as part of Z(which Battle of the Gods and Revival of Frieza are canon) then Whis would be, that we know of so far.
Whis. and in other news. maybe this will help when people claim Dragon Ball Z characters are physically weak. it is not mine, it was made by someone called darkvslight.
Broly with Brolypotence.
whis
I never understand why the same people who reject the 40 tons feat come up with stuff like this.
40tons was a gag feat, nothing more. The context that it was used was for comedic purposes, as proved by the next page in the manga.
Only people who have never read the manga would consider it a serious feat.
@amendment50: too much free time?
@mistershin: I agree, it was a gag. And the gag was that 40 tons is an absurd amount of weight and Goku wanted to lift even more.
It's pretty much the only usable baseline for Goku's strength in the entire series and people reject it because they would rather highball him.
@purple_d_dragon: Guess so.
@mistershin: I agree, it was a gag. And the gag was that 40 tons is an absurd amount of weight and Goku wanted to lift even more.
No. It was a gag in the sense that it was a "made no sense" gag. We have feats of him pushing apart mountains and tossing Giants around as a teenager yet all he can manage is 40 tons? Hilarious!!!
@purple_d_dragon: That image of Goku lifting weights is absolutely falsified, and is nothing more than nonsense by a fan. The top image of Goku benching those circular weights? There was no indication in the Japanese version of the movie Revival of F or even the Manga to suggest how much they weighed.
@amendment50: but now we have Dragon Ball Super giving us new feats.
@purple_d_dragon: Very true. Goku's just going to get stronger and stronger as the series continues.

Sure, let's wait the SSGSS3
Counting Super, Whis is the strongest, by far. In strictly Z, Vegetto is strongest, with Gohan being the strongest non-fused/non-absorbed character. Also, about Goku lifting all that weight in those pictures, bear in mind that it's King Kai's planet, so it's under 10x gravity. In other words, Goku is a strong mofo.
@scotticusrex: Oh, good point, it does specify Dragon Ball Z.
In that case, Vegito.

that is from Dragon Ball Super, not the movies. and read again, that was taking on account the material, being iron or tha metal Goku was using in Dragon Ball Z.
Even if those weights are 10 tons gravity makes them 100 tons(talking about recent feat).Databooks stated bukujutsu made lifting harder that's why he needed SS to lift 40 tons.
To me considering gravity those weights should be something between 1000-100.000 tons.
Whis is strongest known character in DB but there's no doubt someone stronger than him exist in other 11 universe.

My mistake, it was indeed Super, episode 3. Doesn't matter what the fan calculated, because it's false. No one knows how much the mass of the weights were, or even what material they were. Thus, you cannot base the weights on another material. I applaud that guy for trying, but in the end, he's wrong.
@urban_ninja_x: he was taking them first as being made of Iron, then he calc the weights Goku had in his arm and legs and the size to make a second calc taking on account as they were made of the same Matarial than the 40 tons weights.

They were not made from the same material because it has never been stated as such. As I said, I applaud his trying, but he's wrong. A fan calculation does not count when there is nothing there to be calculated.
@urban_ninja_x: It's never stated they are not same material or iron or other things,I'm using your logic btw :W.
Just use common sense it's probably iron.

Which for some reason is not allowed when discussing DB :(
Well as of right now its Whis.
Whis. Not even close.

Common sense says not to give a false calculation to an object in which I have no idea what it's composition or mass is.

true we can't have an accurate estimation of how much Goku was lifting, but we can have a "safe" garanteed minimum he can lift in base form.
That Weight Goku was lifting is a house size, maybe it's not very clear from that picture above, but if you watch the episode you'll see its height, Kai's little house was nothing compared to it. And it also looks to be metallic base. So it's surely a lot heavier than a house with the same size. So how much a house weight? Well, pulling out a scale and actually weighing the finished product. (That would be one awfully big scale, but house movers testify that most houses weigh in at between 80,000 and 160,000 pounds (between 36 and 72 tons). Of course, this is sans foundation and concrete floor slabs, and house movers typically are dealing with older, smaller structures that have been stripped of many components (but not always).
So if we at least take their testimony (house movers) into account, and make an average house weight (120,000 pounds - 54 tons) which we are sure is smaller than Goku's weights (because it's all metallic), and we know that Kai's planet have 10 times earth gravity, then we can tell that Goku was lifting more than 540 tons in base form.
Whis and Bills aren't apart of Z and the movies have been retconned out of existence by DB super. So Vegito.
Broly with Brolypotence.
@shinjiro: if he says Broly then it would mean we are using movies... so Whis again.
Broly with Brolypotence.
Common sense is not allowed when discussing DBZ. Who cares that 40 tons feat is taken into consideration when Goku as a kid lifted boulders 9 times that weight. Who cares that the material looks EXACTLY the same as the material he was struggling with. No difference at all. None. Even from the same realm. Thats like if you saw superman lifting iron and then went all "We dont know what kind of iron it is blablablah" that is Dumb. That's stupid. It's obviously the same material. Get real.
Frieza strongest character in Z he was the only one to tank a planet exploding and only one to destroy one ;) Sucks he was weak to cutting/piercing attacks though. ):
