who is strongest
Define 'strongest'?
Flash has the arguably most destructive power on other humans / humanoids, Superman is probably the outright strongest in genuine strength and Thor takes energy projection and magic.
Flash isn't a planet buster but in an outright fight he would beat Superman and Thor.

Not quite, Odin or the Destroyer stomps Flash.
@nickthedevil said:
Don't see why not. Barry Allen, second slowest Flash, was able to outrun all of creation itself (Flash V1, #209) The amount of force behind a strike going at that speed that is just unimaginable.
Except that Skyfathers can't be beaten with physical force. They're kind of beyond that level now. Plus, Odin can rewrite reality to be as fast as he wants to be.

@ComocYahweh: Yes, yes he can. I'm sure there's a thread here where it was agreed that Flash could take Supes.
Flash fanboys, there is no evidence of him being able to beat sups.

Seconded!
@ComocYahweh: Apart from having superior reaction time and being faster...And having that the vibrating hand of death thing that the Reverse-Flash wipes people out of history with...And the fact that in the New 52 Supes was hard-pressed to even tag him...while Flash was running circles around him easy.

Would Superman stand there and let Flash run cicles around him in an actual battle? No he would fly up in air and blaze him with heatvision.

What happens when Flash moves faster than his heat vision? Then runs away until he picks up enough speed to IMP him.
@ComocYahweh: @Twentyfive:
You must be deluded if that's what you believe.
People say 'Flash Fanboys' but he is SO much faster than Superman and hits harder. Superman couldn't just fly in the air and blast him with heat vision because Flash can time steal before Clark could react. Then he just BFR's into Speed Force or IMPs him into oblivion.

Superman can see atoms, can just cut an atom creating a nuke killing Flash.

How does Flash hit harder? He can do nothing to harm superman.
@Pwok21: Lol. I am laughing the most about your comment because as you typed it, I was at another thread about the flash, and I said the word 'fanboys'. I mean I like Flash too, but can he really beat everybody?
And i hate DC's science behind the Flash. Stealing speed from people? What? I mean I know it's a comic, but whatever. The time stealing, I totally get. The thing that bugs me the most, is that people always revert to the speed force argument.

The Flash can beat pretty much anyone who isn't very high herald level (Silver Surfer) and above.
@The_Roman said:
@ComocYahweh: You know Flash has run into a city and evacuated a half a million people while a nuke was going off, right?
While a Nuke was going off, but not meanwhile an atom exploded... Also even if he does run away, superman will just stand unharmed inside the nuke and Flash can't return because he would die from radiation.

@Agent_California: Now I can see why people hate Superman, and comic characters that are generally strong as hell. The arguments are hardly any fun.
Street level character battles are more fun because prep time, and imagination can sway the outcome of a match. But once i start up a thread called "Wally West and John Stewart Vs. Sentry and Thor" people will come out of nowhere saying "Speedblitz! FLASH STOMPS" and "MISMATCH!!!" That sucks. Street lvlrs, you can actually imagine the fight.
@ComocYahweh: Um, a nuclear explosion is many atoms being divided by a reaction of nuclear fission, which is what you just described (aka 'an atom exploding').
Also, he could, since he has the ability to run in, hit Supes, and run back out before he's subjected to any kind of high level dose of radiation.
In addition, I don't think Superman has actually split an atom before, could you show me proof that he can do this?

An infinite mass punch or fifty million should do it. If you want, I can calc out how much force he's throwing out going from his "white dwarf" comment and compare it to supe's low level planet busting. The numbers are HEAVILY skewed in Wally's favour.

First of all, does the Speed Force magically protect Flash's body during all this? Not only would his body not survive being infinite mass, and if he destroyed the planed he would also die, and I even think Superman could survive such a hit.

Phasing an airplane and its passengers through a bridge.
With Flash's vibration, it's Superman who won't touch him.

Faster than heat vision.

If even Jay Garrick can beat Supes, imagine Wally West.

@The_Roman said:
@ComocYahweh: Actually it does, at least Pre-Flashpoint. The Speed Force gave him like an aura that amped up his durability.
Durability yes, but doesn't he still need to breathe? Moving at that speed would prevent that.

In that 52 scan sups was just standing still, and not even hurt by that push.
@tomlikesfries: That second scan you posted. I want to point out that the page before hand, Flash stated he could have speed stolen Supes, but that it would have left 'a trail of destruction from here to Moscow', or something to that effect.
@The_Roman said:
@ComocYahweh: Except he's moved at those speeds and been able to have a conversation.
That's called ''bad writing'' I believe.
@ComocYahweh:
There is no point trying to debate the science behind the IMPs because a, it has been done before in universe and b, this is a comic book.
Seriously Superman cannot react to Flashes speed, there were scans of Flash running to and from a city to grab a crate of water whilst Superman was talking mid-sentence. He only stopped talking when he realised Wally had a crate of water that had appeared.
Flash turns Superman into a statue before he can react, moves him to a solar system with a red sun and then proceeds to kill him.
Easy as that.
@ComocYahweh: Like when Superman has flown Darkseid to the Moon and been able to have a conversation? Or when he's heard things happening on Earth from around Jupiter? Or when he can actually keep up with Flash? Or when he rivals Wonder Woman's fighting abilities?

spot on mate
and this is why the speedforce and the flash's powers have been changed in the nudcu.wallys powers were obscene,he had too much,and should have never been written so powerful.barry now only taps into the speedforce for his speed,vibrational abilities,and his augcog,nit any kinetic energy ability,he doesnt even have the lrotective aura.DC got smart and made barry what he is suoposed to be,the fastest man alive,not a speed/time god.wally could do these crazy god level things,then turnaround and have a problem with a rogue,it was silly powering up,then silly trying to make any of his enemies a challenge for him.thank god for the new 52.
Wally can beat both of them in less than a second if he was not holding back. Both of them are so slow that moving at their max speeds will seem like they are standing still to Flash.
