Not many earth heroes can beat Supes but let me think. I'm sure Photon can beat him. Maybe the Vision. Possibly Moonstone. You know people that can touch you but you can't touch them back. The Void could have done it. Juggernaut maybe could. So could Ultron or Absorbing man if No BFR.
@LT1085: Well you don't have to be that way. obviously people want to comment on the topic and if we bumped the old threads then there would be 2 or 3 of the same thread being commented on at once. I see your point though.
maybe we were not members when those threads were made. maybe we were at work when this topic was being discussed. maybe new information is out there. I would not think to make this topic so i wouldn't search for it. but it is worth posting. I can't believe people are snitching on a comic book thread.
In the case of the classic Superman I always felt that a combo of Dr Strange, the female Captain Marvel and the Hulk should be able to bring down Superman.
Strange is there to take advantage of his vulnerability to magic. Captain Marvel could change to Kryptonite radiation while the Hulk is there to stomp him into the nearest curb.
These days I would replace Hulk with the Sentinel (on one of his good days)
