Who could defeat Amon 1 on 1?

Are there any Avatar characters (Non Avatars) who could defeat Amon in your opinion? Why and How? Contemplate it with full bloodbending ability first and then under Bonus rules second. Characters can be anyone from A:TLA or LoK with the exception of Avatars and Spirits.

Rules:

- Opponents begin 25 feet apart facing each other.

- No outside help, pure 1 on 1.

- Win by KO, Death, Incapacitation

- Challenger gets to pick the location of the fight (Anywhere in the Avatar World past or present.)

- Boosts (such as Sozin's comet) are allowed.

- Standard Gear

Bonus: To make things more interesting assume Amon can only bloodbend for 5 seconds at a time with 20 seconds breaks between bloodbending sessions.

VS.

Katara with a full moon

Ozai/Iroh with sozins comet

Bumi

@lunacyde: Someone can win if they choose the spot on the lion Turtles back that you can't bend on or the spirit world in general.

Otherwise, no one. Even win the bonus. 5 Seconds is all he needs to Incap you.

Amon with his blood bending is one of the high end street levelers. I dont even see how Midnighter could beat him as he has no exploitable weakness.

Also to note i know its not as fast as regular lightning but Amon CASUALLY dodges lightning from benders.

@lunacyde: Combustion Man can do it. He should be able to keep using his bending even when hes being blood bended.

Spirits, Avatars are not allowed.

I doubt any of the others could defeat him with full bloodbending.

Hama and Katara should be able to beat him with a full moon, especially since Hama is the first known blood bender

I don't think Amon could dodge something as fast as Combustion Man's type of Fire Bending, its super explosive to so that casual side step isn't going to do it.

Could Amon blood bend something of Appa's size? If not Appa stomps him, literally.

Combustion Man doesn't need to move in order to bend. His ability is psychic firebending as dumb as it sounds.

So theoretically speaking, if Amon held him in a grip, Combustion Man could still release an explosion killing Amon.

Round two would apply as well. Under Sozin's comet, Combustion Man's powers would be much stronger.

I really need to start reading the rules.....

Combustion man and Bumi are capable of bending with their mind, they should be able to still bend in the bloodbending grip.

Ozai has a much slimmer chance. If Amon gets close, he could let off a supercharged firebreath.

Blood bending allowed, but if its in character Amon will only use it if he's losing. Bumi can kick his ass before he realizes it

seriously guys, Amon is great. He's an amazing chi blocker and a hellofa great water bender, but blood bending is seriously getting over hyped here...

Ozai would definitely stomp

Bumi can bend with his mind, regardless of being in bloodbending grip, he'd stomp

As for you coodles-We are not overrating bloodbending entirely, but specifically the fact that Amon can do it with his Mind. What are you gonna do? Stop him from thinking? he could knock out everybody that stands against him with a single, flitting thought.

Combustion man still needs to target with his Eye thingy. Amon does not.

@cooldes: @funsiized: Agreeing with funsiized. How can any of those people bend with a broken neck? Fight starts. Combustion man had to move his head. Amon breaks his neck. Bumi, even though he could bend with his face, always did earth bending stances when in a figh. Bumi moves. Amon breaks his neck.

Combustion Man could theoretically win. His power is mental and doesn't technically require any movement. However it can only fire directly ahead and requires him to aim. Honestly it could go either way and comes down to how fast Amon realizes Combustion Man's abilities. Given knowledge he should win.

Bumi has bended with gestures of his face, but not psychically. This could very well allow him to do something against Amon, but he'd be greatly hindered and Amon is a great fighter in his own right.

Ozai and Azula... Not likely. Neither can bend without moving. They may be able to pull off a breath of fire but Amon could most likely dodge as we see him effortlessly dodge fire and lightning attacks. Odds are in his favor.

As for blood bending a creature Appa's size I don't see why not he blood bended those large Yak creatures...multiple at once.

You guys are seriously Underrating amon's cis. In character he does NOT instablood bend. He's an accomplished chi blocker, and a great martial artist. He's definitely go for a fight first, block some chi, and when he's losing, he'll break out the bending.

You guys are seriously underrating FireLord Ozai. The entire Original series was aang preparing to fight the fire lord. He conquered almost the entire avatar earth. He's Absurdly powerful. Aang needed to master ALL 4 elements to even stand a chance against him, and even then he went into avatar state to win. the fire lord would instantly fly up, and burn the entire battlefield+ into fodder. Amon does not stand a chance against Ozai. Esp because he doesn't blood bend right off the bat.

CM has the best chance but I don't think so. Amon was dodging everything including lightning from inches away. The entire Gaang was able to dodge his attacks so i don't see why Amon can't. Amon didn't just grab people with his bloodbending. He snapped peoples neck. CM not bending with a broken back or neck.

Now you are overestimating FL Ozai CIS. He does not immediately do that. He fought Aang like anyone else would at first. Trying to beat him one on one. Everything Aang dodged Amon could dodge. Aang was able to block and dodge many of his attacks without going avatar. Amon has dodged lightning from inches away.

Yes, but if we look at both their abilities, what does Amon have that can put CM down? Did you see how easily CM over powered Zuko with one arm while being preoccupied by blasting away? I feel that Amon could dodge and dodge, but eventually CM has a better chance of ending the fight.

ibwas talking about the original show too dude, with the old lady. And that's called CIS not PIS. and CIS tends to repeat itself. We also include CIS in battles, but not PIS.

no it's not. If he doesn't go for blood bending straight away, which he oesn't do in chracter, fire lord Ozai is going to OHK him instantly with ridiculous lightning or absurd amounts of fire.

And Aang still had to go SUPER avatar state to wiin!! you're literally not gelping your case! Amon is not at avatar state level. Aang had to go around the entire avatar earth, mastering every element just to fight Ozai, and still needed avatar state to win. if you've seen the fireloeds lightning you know it's not getting dodged.

But he doesn't do that. He got his butt handed to him by korra! he only knows ONE element! Avatar aang needed to master ALL 4 + Avatar state for ozai. This is a luxury amon does not have.

Blood bending then Boom!!!!!! Fire blast. Zuko was not just any little kid, he was a highly trained fire bender that basically helped a fairly small group of people over throw the fire nation.

@cable_extreme: The fire nation was running things before zuko was born. Out of all the regulars on the show Zuko was weakest. Still amon can send him flying through the air or snap his neck. once amon sees what CM can do he won't play around.

@cooldes: Aang didn't have to learn all the elements to fight Ozai. Its his job as the avatar to learn all 4. also aang wanted to beat him without killing him. Amon has no problem killing. I just youtube the fight. Ozai didn't begin with any attack that regular Aang didn't block or dodge. After a little back and forth Amon can send Ozai head first into a wall at will.
