i have been wondering who can take down a regular celestial by themselves i know franklin richards can and also galactus and some sky fathers but who else?
who can take a celestial fully on?
In time probably The Fury
random encounter imo Thought Robot, Swamp Thing (God)
Galactus level beings and above. Eg. Abstracts, LT, Phoenix, Toaa, Classic Beyonder and Molecule Man, Protege, UN, Franklin Richards, Mad Jim Jaspers, Fulcrum, Merlyn.

The One who sits above, Eternity, Destiny, The Watcher, Living Tribunal, An Infinity Gaunlet wielder, an Ultimate Nullifier wielder, A fully grown Shao Lao Dragon, Dr. Doom, The X-Men..apparently..
Could i ask you to elaborate because i am a little surprised.

Squirrel Girl.
haha :) well in her glory days she probably could, its a nice thing these days she written properly. I think her fight with Wolverine was a fair indication of her powers (she curbstomped him though).
@Killemall: Doctor Doom with prep should be able to stomp a celesial, I beleive he is only second to thanos in that department. I am sure that's what he meant.
Indeed.@perry_411 said:

There's a lot. To name a few:
Invisible Woman (she destroyed Exitar the Exterminator)
Thanos with the HotU and possibly the IG, and with prep
Doctor Doom with prep
And more.

This+
all other abstracts(abraxas, chaos king, master order, lord chaos, etc...)+Wanda+MJJ+Merlyn+Demiurge+Top elder gods+Excalibur wielders+Ultimate Nullifier+Celestial nullifier wielders+IG wielders+Nemesis+Mxy+Spectre+Emperor joker+thought robot+COIE anti-moniter+Mandrakk+Max Farraday+Ultimator+Top elder gods+Amalgam Brothers.
I think that's all, and what's with the invisible woman?
@justleader: Nothing. It's just that she destroyed Exitar the Exterminator (who I believe comes back later), and I've only mentioned her once.
Exitar looks funny when he gets destroyed:
No one has said Spawn god, Malebolgia, god (from Hellspawn), or that mother god thing from Hellspawn.
@whydama:
In a random encounter, without the Infinity Gauntlet, Thanos loses every time to a Celestial.

Only his physical form, invisible woman should be far away from this list.
@justleader: It doesn't matter if you don't destroy a Celestial's spirit. Destroying their armour is good enough, their essence will slowly leak out.

Thanos kills entities in random encounter with power cosmic. He doesnt lose every battle.
Beings as powerful as a Celestial?

@Killemall: doom survived a confrontation with 5 or 6 mad celestials, could take one-on-one
Would you happen to have scans?
I think he did it with the Infinity Gems.
Oh cool , well then that shouldnt count.

That thread has some of the scans, but it doesn't really matter since it doesn't count (if that is what they were referring to).
@Killemall: No scans, it was part of the Future Foundation vs. the Mad Celestials arc where we learned Galactus and grown Franklin Richards are beasts. Dr. Doom unprepared takes them on to stall them. Survives, now existing in another universe with a Parliament of Dooms, multiple infinity gauntlets, multiple nullifiers

Doom was completely ineffective offensively against the celestials in that fight. I love doom but all he did was survive a blast and played dead while the Celestials went through the portal. But he did tank multiple blasts without help from an Infinity gauntlet. which is impressive.
