Who can survive a kick from Frieza?
This topic is locked from further discussion.
Jugg, Hulk, Superman, Thor, others are cant think of right now.
which versions?
@josephgomes619: Most versions, considering DBZ characters have low durability and they can still get back up after kick from Frieza

I wouldn't say DBZ characters have low durability, since Beerus tanked a planet explosion with zero damage
Anyone of Superman level durability. Now the condition they will be in afterwards............

@etheral_dreams: You do have a point. But then your going to start the "energy attacks = physical" debate, which will rage all night lol.

It's pretty obvious that DBZ has split durability, before BoG nobody in DBZ had planet level striking strength and characters bled from island level punches. So I also disagree that energy attacks = physical

I thought Buu was at least the earliest character to possess striking on that level or close to it. What about this?
@josephgomes619: So I suppose Darkseid also bleeds from Island level punches?
Also, are we ignoring the planet exploding in Half dead freezas face and him not being bothered by it.
@micah: Nope, definitely not planet busting. Beerus was the first who destroy several planets at the end of BoG, and Frieza in RoF. I don't count King Kai's planet as a real planet despite it's 10x gravity, it's way too small
a better question would be who can survive goku's one punch straight to your man boob (or just boob for ladies )
@josephgomes619: Well let me clarify when I say planet level striking I mean striking that clearly effects the planet itself, not necessarily outright destroying or one-shotting it (in the case of Beerus). For example many characters possess planet level striking but cannot bust a planet with said strikes. They may eventually destroy one after pounding upon it for awhile but hopefully you get the point.
@josephgomes619: You're trying to say that planetary explosions release no kinetic force? LMAO. There is a massive amount of kinetic force and mechanical energy involved in a planet's destruction, just as much thermal or radiant energy.
It should also be noted that DBZ characters use ki to amp their strengh, the very same ki used as energy attacks. Thus, damage caused by energy attacks and physical strikes are virtually interchangeable. When have they bled from island level punches? You realize that ki can be focused into a small, concentrated area, so collateral damage isn't the best indicator.
I can't believe people really think that if you can survive a planetary explosion you can't survive the kinetic force of an island level attack, especially when both attacks are powered by the same source.
@pr0d1gy: He actually destroyed Earth using Kiai. You can see it radiating from his palm and proceeding to crack the planet apart.
@micah: I get your point, fair enough

I thought you were referring to when he deflected Vegeta's attack with a mere kick (on Namek). That particular feat would require planetary durability to survive. Bear in mind that was Frieza only fighting with a power level of 3,000,000+.
So 616 Thor, Hulk ect, all come to mind under this particular scenario, in the likelihood they MIGHT survive that is.
That's how over powered Dragonball Z is.

@micah: Once again, ki is the source of 99% of all superhuman abilities in Dragonball, and is source of power for punches and energy blasts alike.
Logically if someone can survive a ki-induced multi planet explosion unharmed and laughing, and then they are killed by a ki-enhanced punch, we can safely say this: the amount of ki that powered must be larger than the amount that caused the planets to explode. Thus, the blow has multi-planet level striking power.
The whole energy durability vs physical durability debate is pretty much pointless because 9.9 times out of 10, it's just their durability against the same force: ki, only difference is its application.
Nevertheless, even if ki wasn't in the equation, there is an enormous amount of kinetic force involved in a planet's destruction, e.g scattering the planet's debris over millions of miles, dispersing the atmosphere, ect.
Saying that tanking a planet's explosion is an energy durability feat alone is moronic.
@etheral_dreams: You make a great argument on the matter. Particularly I want to point out alot of people do forget that surviving the explosion of anything is not simply just a form of energy durability. But there are many other factors that must be taken into account.
@micah: Thank you, and agreed. Even more so when the sources of both types of damage are in reality one and the same.
@josephgomes619: savage hulk, professor hulk, mindless hulk, world breaker hulk, world war hulk. superman, KC superman, all star superman superman prime. juggernaut, trion J, 8TH day juggernaut. colossus, sentry, the thing, gladiator, blue marvel, captain marvel, shazam, black adam, doomsday, dark seid, lobo, dead pool will all survive this.
@josephgomes619: where this from?
@medulaoblaganda: Only 6 people on that list could survive if we go by feats.
@medulaoblaganda: Resurrection of F, the new DBZ movie...
Ssgss Goku, ssgss vegeta, beerus and whis.
Unfortunately Vegeta cant.

@darthvxder: i dont know if you are joking but ssgss vegeta can survive.
lol my sides!!! im laughing way too hard at the posts ive been reading in this topic!
superman and hulk cant even survive against saiyan saga gokus punch and he'll tank friezas kick? ok whatever you guys say.
@snes9x: Pre 52 superman crashed at light speed into a moon which was moving fast enough it had enough force to destroy 500 times and he was just KOED. Hulk has busted planets with physical strength and nearly cracked earth in two by taking a step he has survived direct blasts from thanos who managed to hurt galactcus.

They most certainly do NOT have low durability. They regularly take planet+ hits and keep on fighting.
