If we're going by who is equal or greater on the Weight:Strength scale, I think Atom Ant is pound for pound stronger than Thanos by a huge margin. I mean he weighs like, 0.000105822 ounces. Thanos weighs like 600 pounds. Which would make Thanos weigh 90.7 million times as much as Atom Ant.

Pound for pound do you mean the same weight class or just pound for pound skilled in whatever power level that could put him down. His weight: Doomsday, Apocalypse (probably), Mongul, PC Validus (definitely), PC Darkseid, War Hulk, Silver Surfer if he's not jobbing. Out of his weight class: Wally West, Hunter Zoloman. SA Superman, SA Super girl, SA Superboy, Squerrel Girl, Etc.. Plenty more.

Juggernaut would beat Thanos if all they did was box until one of them dropped.

No, he wouldn't. Thanos has off the charts durability.

In a fist fight..Surfer is not taking down Thanos...Brute Physical Force is not Surfer's best attribute. Apocalypse gets destroyed by Thanos in any situation.

@shawnbaby: Classic Juggernaut would also manhandle Thanos. As for Silver Surfer, in a confrontation with Hulk he stated he could raise his strength and durability to any limit. Hence me saying if he's not jobbing. He's faster and arguably stronger, in a boxing match without PiS/jobbing he should win as Thanos can be physally harmed and Surfer has the ability to deal more damage than Thanos could. Just because if his pis losses doesn't mean in a fair fight he wouldn't have the advantage.

Also, En Sabah Nur is taller, heavier and just as strong and is immortal. I'm pretty sure he's reformed from a puddle. Is durability is as insane as Thanos. Without and amp or a little help for death, he's not doing to manhandle Apocalypse period. I'd say possibly the opposite.

Apocalypse is in no way in Thanos' League...in any category. He doesn't have the feats to support any claim to say he could go mano a mano against The Mad Titan.

Off the charts or infinite durability? Because that's what he would need to keep going against the Juggernaut. Noway he has the power to match the gem of cytorrak.

Juggernaut isn't that strong. He's invulnerable, yeah, but that doesn't make him auto-win.

Thor with the Power Gem was unable to beat down Thanos.

As far as who could take Thanos in a boxing match.... Hercules stands a chance, World Breaker Hulk or 8th day Juggs could pull this off.....Darkseid probably as well. Doomsday, and Superman both have a decent shot at this. As for Silver Surfer.... yeah he CAN do this, but his H2H skills are very highly questionable...... he uses his powers for everything, and this fights all about H2H so while he has the capability, I don't think he has the skills.

On the contrary, there's a reason he decided to imprison Thor after a decent fight, because Thanos knew it was inevitable Thor would over power him if he kept fighting him physically h2h while the pg was in Thor's possession.

I see a lot of names like Superman (not SA), Doomsday, etc. People are severely underestimating Thanos' shields/durability and/or overestimating the other characters.

This is pretty much just a street fist fight. No shields. Doomsday is stronger than Thanos.

That's a polite way of him resigning the battle using his abstract powers rather than duking it out with him physically, as he could clearly see that Thor was only getting amped, so Thanos being Thanos, wasn't stupid enough to keep going that rout and decided to imprison him in a pure block of energy, as opposed to trying to knock him out.

Darkseid probably, Despero and Doomsday could definitely beat him, in Marvel WB Hulk probably, any skyfather like Zeus and Odin.

Zeus. Although I don't understand the OP, maybe Zeus doesn't' count because when he beat down the Hulk he was using some energy projectile.

Anyone who's slapped around New-52 Supes has a shout, thanks to Lobdell's (Gah he can bench the earth for 5 days gimmick). So Helespont, Darksied, H'el, possibly even MM, since he was able to fight the whole JL, with at least one of them (Wonder-Woman), having no morals.

Galactus- Based on his fist fight with the Inbetweener

Zeus- Although he was amping his fists with Lightning when he faced Gravage Hulk.
