Who Can Outsmart Thanos?

Darkseid MIGHT be able to. I believe he and Thanos are more or less equals when it comes to planning though Thanos is probably a little bit smarter.

None of those people really. Thanos has already outsmarted Galactus, and the Doctor doesn't outsmart so much as figure things out, which he can only do if you stand there like a dunce and allow him to Monologue. Besides it looks like the Ops thread starter message itself was deleted...

Road Runner generally takes Wille E Coyote. And that's not even intelligence, it's just toonforcing. And it's all kids humor. And in Looney Toons you could kill a character that's a "running joke" by not laughing.

@reikai: How do Lucifer and TAO not outsmart Thanos? they have proven may times to be WAAAAAY! smarter then Thanos.

The only reason I mentiond Galactus was because on a Marvel database it says that Thanos's intellegence skill level is 6 while Galactus's is 7.

Lucifer got the chance to make his own universe and God just didn't care. Not really outsmarting Thanos there and no idea who even Tao is. Only makes me think of Tao Tao Pai from Dragonball and that's a huge No right there.

You can't trust "power rankings" on a database because they don't mean anything. Thanos actually has feats to back him. Galactus has been fooled and tricked by Thanos. He was even fooled by Warlock during the IG arc. Galactus is generally too arrogant to think anything below him could be a threat and he's constantly proven wrong.

@reikai: Tao I believe this is the Tao (Wildstorm/DC character) being referred to, if the link works : )

@reikai: Lucifer can manipulate Thanos into surrendering or have Thanos killing himself, Lucifer has done this before to other characters.

TOA is a wildstorm character, look him up.

But seriously, a test tube baby whose only goal is to destroy the world? Doom plots and makes the F4 nervous. Thanos plots and the universe drops a load in its pants.

I know you do get called out quite a bit by me, but I think explaining the intelligence of Tao would be a great help here in the thread.

It's easier to put it like this for me. When Doom plots to do something, the Heroes must find a means of countering Doom's plans and save the world.

When Thanos has a plan in the works, with the heroes it comes down to; "Ok, our only hope here is if Thanos isn't even really serious about dominating the entire universe and turning all of the megaverse into a cakelogical singularity. Cause otherwise we're screwed. So, let's do our best and hope he lets us win. Ready? Break!"

Eh, while this is mostly the case, the Doctor actually has an in-universe field that causes people to be more inclined to talk to him than to shoot him, though in the old series he is shot plenty of times without being killed outright.

Who can outsmart Thanos, potentially any character known for their wits, who can do it all the time no one except most Discworld protagonists who emit an aura that makes everyone around them incompetent.
