he changes his mass to 1,000,000,000,000  neutron stars.

neutron stars are smaller than small planet but the density is so great that 1 gram of it can weigh up to 100 million tons each.

so one neutron star should weigh a billions of sextillion tons.

Changes his mass? Juggernaut can't change mass IIRC

I say Pre-Crisis Kryptonians or anyone with strength around or above them such as PC Mongul, PC Darkseid, and COIE Anti-Monitor.

#5 Posted by Lance Bastro (4744 posts) - - Show Bio

he can change both his mass and size or both at once. he weighs 900lbs but can use elevators (capacity 500lbs).
he can walk like normal people, but can sometimes make earthquakes when he walks. big earthquakes.
colossus can't pick him up.
thing can't lift him.
rhino can't.

he can float in water sometimes, yet at other times water can't float him and he sinks all the way at the bottom.

Only 1,000,000,000,000 neutron stars worth of mass?  I got a few D&D hulking hurlers who could throw that without a breaking a sweat.

Cheesy builds FTW.

And all this is consistent with his Unstoppable momentum ability. He never actually changes his mass. try again.

1 gram of it can only weigh 1 gram. That is how units of measurement work. You could say a tablespoon weighs 100 million tons, but a gram of anything is a gram.

1. It's a comic book.

2.  Juggernaut causes earthquakes when he stomps.  Go take a walk for five seconds, and then start stomping as you move.  You exert a different level of force against the ground, yes?  Now imagine someone with superhuman strength doing it.  It's not a change in mass, it's a demonstration of physical strength.

3. Plenty of people can pick him up if they had the chance.  Sometimes, I can't pick up my brother from the ground.  Why?  Application of force.  Dead weight is a hell of a lot harder to move than someone simply allowing themselves to be picked up.  Sure, you can outmuscle dead weight, but it's kind of hard to do it against someone who's physically stronger than you.  Juggernaut is stronger than Colossus, Rhino, and Thing.  Their attempts at lifting Cain will be defeated by him simply making himself dead weight.  You know, the thing most people do to avoid being picked up when they don't want to be.

4. He sinks when he wants to or is unable to bring himself to the surface of the water quick enough.  It's not like the man doesn't know how to swim.

Even ignoring PIS, Juggernaut is in the Crimson Cosmos with access than more power than he should.  Of course he'd be able to pull something like that off.  Besides, growing in size (which in turn would also increase his mass) =/= simply increasing mass.

Also, were juggernaut to gain that much mass, he'd instantly collapse into a black hole.  Killing him.

no, if he did that he wounldnt have any friends. however, he can steel momentum and other forms of energy as he seems to have a gravity specifity for abstract forces.

@Dreadnaught: Actually, him growing that large isn't PIS, when you consider the context of the story was that the event was occurring inside of Cains mind as a battle of wills, and not on any sort of physical or mystical plane whatsoever.

Yeah, because Juggernaut is the only 'really big, really strong' character made to be different sizes by different artists.

Oh wait... there's also Hulk, Rhino, Thing, Colossus, ect...

not quite. everytime he's without the armor or not wanting to grow big, he's only 6'1... but there are instances when he is 6'1 to 10 feet to 20 feet to 100 feet to 1,000 feet tall.

actually a gram is a unit of mass and a ton is a unit of weight. you actually weigh more or less (in pounds or stones) dependent on gravity, you weigh about one sixth of your weight at earth sea level when on the moon, your mass (in kilograms) however never changes. the mass version of a ton is a metric ton.

I still think the juggernaut can be picked up.

Can you base your opinions on these supposed powers on handbook pages, biographies, ect, or are you just going to stay convinced of it purely because of inconsistant artwork?

its not just the artist, its the way it is. cain marko is the same heigh as charlse xavier. in the hand book, he should be 6'1 or 6'2...  he only increases his size when he wants too. it's a part of his power, just like apocalypse can alter his size and mass too. hulk too... he gets bigger and bigger each time he gets angry.

@Power NeXus:
That's very compelling, but has he ever been in a single comic where one minute he's one size, and another the next?

In WWH he was smaller than hulk... when he came back he was bigger than hulk.

Juggernaut can't alter his size or weight. It's dependent on the artist. Lance Bastro is a tard, and if you're taking this seriously, then please, stop for a second.

Look at all of his bios, anywhere. Official handbook, marvel website, comicvine, Marvunapp, Marvel Database, etc. etc. Cain can't alter his size or weight. It's dependent on the artist.

#41 Posted by TheJuggernautpunch (6135 posts) - - Show Bio
@Lance Bastro: Actually , Juggernaut was not very big only during his first appearances . And still he was in the same height as Hulk . But as the comics developed , he grew significantly larger , in some comics he is as huge as buildings . Yes , Juggernaut can alter his size , but I don't think he does it on the every occasion . He is always that huge , and the scans where you said he is "small" he is actually not . Read those comics . He is  very big here .
#42 Posted by TheJuggernautpunch (6135 posts) - - Show Bio
@Lance Uppercut: Cain can alter his size . Trion is a great example of this .
#43 Posted by Lance Uppercut (23245 posts) - - Show Bio
@TheJuggernautpunch: The one time he's ever significantly altered his size was a time when he wasn't even in control of his powers. The Trion were drawing on more power from Cyttorak. This was in no way a reflection of Cains abilities. There's no indication that he can change his size or weight at will.

man, the guy has to have love life c'mon... how can he stick it in when he's that huge?
that's impossible.. juggernaut did have other girlfriends besides the 7 foot tall she hulk.
#45 Posted by Power NeXus (9899 posts) - - Show Bio
@Lance Bastro:
You miss my point completely. I'm not looking for scans of how big Juggernaut appears to be at certain times. Every character has constant appearance changes. Spider-Man sometimes has a normal physique. Other times, he has muscle tone that would put pro bodybuilders to shame. Wolverine's claws sometimes seem to be a foot at most. Other times, they look more like two feet long. The Thing is sometimes a little taller than a human. Other times, he looks to be about ten feet tall. It's all just different artists drawing the character different ways for different amounts of intended coolness.
What I'm asking you to provide is some official canon writeup (handbook entry, bio page, anything) that actually states that Juggernaut has the ability to willfully manipulate his own size and mass.
Until you can provide that evidence, your opinion is bogus.

#48 Posted by TheJuggernautpunch (6135 posts) - - Show Bio
@Lance Uppercut: Because he rarely reveals his true potential . He could achieve that by will if he was smart enough , and you know it . If he was able to alter the size of matter , I see no reason he wouldn't be able to alter his size , especially when he actually did that in comics .

Doubtful. There's not even an indication of what the Trion were doing when Cains mass increased. It could have been magics from the Trion, it could have been the excess magical abilities of Cyttorak. We don't know, and neither do you.  The only time I recall Cain altering the size of matter was when he was fighting Nightmare back in his classic days. He is since no longer able to use magic, after he was stuck in Oblivions realm and he bartered his way out. You know that.

#50 Posted by TheJuggernautpunch (6135 posts) - - Show Bio
@Lance Bastro: Hmmm... I was always interested in how does he do that ... Like in All New Exiles . He is a walking house of muscles there and is so huge , 3 times bigger than his girlfriend . Damn ...
