Who can beat the Surfer from DC?

In my own opinion, Silver Surfer is an unbeatable HERO hands down (except galactus as he is a villain)cos he was endowed with cosmic powers that can manipulate anyone's cells and can make it dissolve or shrink. He can also exceed lightspeeds.  Can someone tell me who can beat him in the DC side? HEROES ONLY NO VILLAIN

And one thing, lets get out of the comic scene. I mean did the Surfer even tried to make Doom shrink or manipulate his cells? In real life or if ur Surfer u can manipulate Dooms cells right before he could grope u get ahead of him. Im saying in comics, heroes are flawed in real life who could defeat him? DC ONLY!@!!@!!!!!!!!

So adam Warlock never losing to him didn't cross your mind? Or Thor? or most importantly DOOM?

Manhunter, Superman and Orion have too much of a vulnerable weakness to beat the Surfer. I mean he knew Gladiator's specific radiation weakness and I doubt Gladiator told him so he probably analysed the energies and found it out. I don't see why he couldn't do the same to Superman and Orion. Fire wouldn't be hard to manipulate with the power cosmic so I am pretty sure he'd get the Manhunter. I'd say the only person on that list who would have a chance is Black Adam.

Nice post but Superman's fought off Kryptonite before (when he took a direct hit from a kryptonite nuke and got right up to clean house) Plus. I dont know how he'd duplicate the radiation from a planet that he knows nothing about. Does that make sense?

I doubt he knows much about Gladiator's planet either. I think the point is he can analyse his molecular make up and see what he is weak to, like in the JLA/Avengers crossover, Radioactive Man had no idea what Kryptonite was but after he was told he was still able to mimic the precise wavelength of radiation. I think how weak Superman is to Kryptonite depends on the writer. I mean Batman cleaned his clock with a ring made of Kryptonite. But I am pretty sure a full powered blast of Power Cosmic Kryptonite with a large area of effect will be enough to take him out.

And no, are you talking about when he fought the Kryptonite Doomsday? I didnt see what happened.

No gambler im not lol, the one after that, Lex corpse realesed bombs all over the world and set small kryptonite molecules free into the air circulation and superman was forced to retreat from earth and live in the watchtower in space. yet that nifty asian guy had some weird spider nano bots that cleaned it all up, all im saying is, even if its a little, superman IS effected.

anyways, Silver Surfer has been proven to be vital to the universe in many  ways, hes been there together with adam warlock in the Infinity wars, annihilation wave, and many others...

I'm not sure anyone could really beat him. He's stated before he can drain people of their energy's, Maybe Specter could do it. Not really sure.
