Jobbing contest
Five words.....Beat by the Teen Titans
So.... guy with zero feats up to this point turns up in his opening arc and shows not-so- impressive durability is jobbing now?
@sithlantern93: Those scans are not jobbing.
@xxxcarzellxxx: lol.
@sithlantern93: dude, Nekron and Butcher are on Spectre's level. That's not jobbing.
But yeah, Spectre is still a jobber. *cough* batkick *cough*
Jobbing contest
Five words.....Beat by the Teen Titans
Lobo.
Larfleeze.
Shao Kahn.
@sithlantern93: If I remember correctly, Spectre didn't really care about having his jaw chopped off in the first instance (and Butcher is pretty rad anyway). As for the second, getting stomped by Nekron is definitely not jobbing, that guy is one of the strongest forces in the DC universe.
@thenewbluebeetle007: Nekron and Butcher have not displayed any feat that could put them in the level of Spectre. Besides Spectre had dealt with beings that have sold soul before (King of Tears and Neron) in the past, so being BFRd by Nekron was definitely a sign of PIS for me.
@kingant27: They are. Emotional Spectrum beats with hosts are not as powerful as much Geoff Johhns as wanks them over pretty much everything. None of them have any universal power outplay let alone multiversal. Zero Hour Parallax and HOG ION are different cases since the concept of EM beats did not exist at that time and their power sources were entirely different anyway. (The entire energy of main GLC battery) To Nekron case, it is PIS because Spectre, even though he could not kill, had dealt with beings that did not have soul. Also Crispus Allen was a weakling anyway.
Also Neron did not possess a soul either. But that did not make him immune to Spectre.
Nekron basically plot removed him so the A listers like Hal Jordan,Superman, Wonder Woman and the rest can return as White Lanterns and win.
@sithlantern93: Not true, Nekron also took put the Anti-Monitor, and in New-52, Volthoom.
The other one wasn't either, jobbing for the Spectre is much worse than that, that is good considering they are well above a normal lantern; being a host etc.
Thanos is really good at the long-job. He'll get a good showing here and there, but when it comes down to it, he's a mad titan jobroni.
@kingant27: That version of Anti Monitor was far from the one we have seen in COIE. Slicing Volthoom is a great feat indeed but Volthoom at best is universal while Spectre naturally is multiversal. We'll just have to disagree.
He didn't job.
The Teen Titans attacked him with the good strategy.
A thing that was never showed during Infinite Crisis...
Thanos is the ultimate jobber.
He lost omnipotence three separate times..
Haha my thoughts EXACTLY.
Even when nobody could beat him, he lost (twice).
The dude in the scan from JSA is most definitely NOT crispus allen spectre. Its Corrigan Spectre
Thats a much better performance agaisnt the king of tears than say Hal Spectre who got reduced to a skeleton from attempting the same later in the same arc
@sithlantern93: Spectre isn't Multiversal in General, and usually jobs, those are good scans of him taking on powerful characters; jobbing is worse for him.
@kingant27: I did not say generally. I said naturally. But his poor record against major cosmic threats in the last ten years tends to portray him even less than universal at some points.
@sithlantern93: I disagree, he isn't a jobber, but suffers from pis and plot etc a bit, but the feats you showed; were not jobbing...
