@Erik: The OP hasn't really clarified the conditions but yes Goku does enjoy fighting and tests his opponents instead of going all out and ending them at once. So it can be said that since Wolverine is more willing to use lethal measures instantly that he does stand a good chance of an instant kill in this scenario. He wouldn't win in a straight out fight so an instant kill would be the best strategy and that's something Logan has been shown to do in the past.

Agreed and because the OP was as vague as possible without stating nothing at all, I am assuming in character for all parties in question.

@crackerjack82: Oh well theres a bunch of people who can obliterate goku and everybody from dbz and the only reason why anime vs comic battles are taboo is because people dont know how to mak fair fights. Goku vs superman shouldnt hav ven been a debate or flame war seeing as how obvious the winner should be. Now goku beats regular Supes for sure but Superman Prime. Superman Prime One million and Sword of Superman and SA Supes beat goku without a doubt. Unless the fight is taking place on the actual sun then regular Supes doesnt stand a chance. The only real reason it even turned into a flame war in the first place is because people could put there blatant fanboy/fangirlism aside and make clear cases for both as people on animevice did. And in doing so all of those fans who particpated in said flame war has caused anime vs comic battles to become taboo on this sight which IMO discriminates against fans who generally want to make a clear, even, and good fight between charcters of both generes

Actually, it is not farfetched at all. We have already seen Goku do that with a person he is not familiar with and a person that intends to attack him would not normally concern him when said character is sitting on a power level as low as Wolverine's.

Anyway heres a list of characters goku cant beat. Tenchi , Sussannomon. The Truth(FMA), Some people from Saint Seya. Lelouch(CG and before anyone says it goku wouldnt see it coming) Just about anyone from dbz(no im not joking GT sucks). Light(with prep)

Yes good fights can happen, but what went on in years past would be Spite battles, set up by anime and Manga Fans, to make Comic Characters look weak. One of the best fights, which was locked was D ( from Vampire hunter D) VS Blade

Well Supes killing goku would actually matter on the circumstances. If Supes was blood lusted or under the effects of Black kryptonite then yeah Supes would kill him but again if its a battle on the Sun Supes would win as Goku cant breathe in space nor survive the temp of the sun and Goku wouldnt kill him ither unless again it depends on the circustances.(Ive mean regular Supes by the way not the other Supes because their kinda outta goku's league) as Goku can search peoples feelings to an extent and wouldnt kill him unless it was completly necessary as he could tell Supes was a good guy. And you're right and I agree most regular anime vs comic battles would be spite unless rules were implied to make a fight fair. For example Superman vs Goku is a spite fight in general but a Superman vs Goku battle like who could lift more or in a fist fight with no energy blast or whatever puts either at an advantage in my opinion maks a great fight. One of my recent attles was locked to which I thought was a generally good fight. It was a swordsmen free for all. Kenshin vs Zolo vs Piando(Avtar TLA) vs Wolverine vs Deadpool was just a battle of pure swordsmen skill. No healing factors, no adaminte skeleton to slow Wolvie down. No immortailty for Deadpool. Just a simple battle was locked
