Here is how it works

1.Everyone are equalised to normal human level.(speed,power, durability .. Ect)

2.they now have to train from the scratch. In their normal trainin routine like a gym or dojo or mountain (whatever)

3.no characters with mecha/robotic enhancements .

It doesnt matter if he's naturally strong or lazy 99.9999% of his time, because we know where he was already and we know where he got to quite specifically because of his training. In fact, since he is so unlikely to train normally, it can assume he's INCREDIBLY motivated (as in...kill the guy who killed me, motivated). What Freeza does on his own time when he's not training is completely irrelevant. When he is training, he's doing WORK.

@thelocust619: every episode,manga, movie, even multiverse and read the updates. goku trains just about everyday as to where freiza has only trained 4 months in his life he literally spent the large amount of his life in a floating chair

@alucardvanwayne1800: it doesn't matter what he does when he's not training, thats what you're not understanding. What matters is what he does when he does train. That's all. For your comparison, Goku has never come that far in 4 months. Ever. Using him as an example isn't really helping here.

The OP states that these characters are training for 4 months, not sitting in a chair for 4 months, not deciding not to train because they're too lazy, or any of the unrelated things you're talking about. They're training for 4 months. Freeza obviously trains well. He had to to close the gap between his old strength and new so fast. That's a fact.

You should reread RoF Ch2, because you're under the impression he just sat there instead of training the instant he was able to after revival. That is wrong, he didn't procrastinate at all, so your "waiting till the last second" arguement, along with being irrelevant because OP states they ARE training, is completely untrue.

Since most comic characters can't really train like shonen character even if they could freeza wins. He reached high herald level from low high end level in 4 months he stomps anyone in this.

And also, Ichigo can probably do it. He trained for 3 months and went dangai. If he trains for 4 months he'll probably go SSJ4 and unlock his moon princess powers at the same time. And Gear 2nd. And SOSP mode. And become a Death Scythe. And find the Death Note. And become an S class hero like Genos. He'll be called Tengen Toppa Ichigo.

He wasn't lazy, He didn't even have a reason to train. he didn't train before because he was drastically more powerful than everyone else since birth. Including his own father. The strongest solder he has was a fraction of his true power. (gynu 120k - freeza 15 million)

We don't really know if that's the limit of Saitama, he did his planetary feat without any effort (As everything that he have done). So for now I can agree with you :3

The problem with Freeza is that he never was at the "human base" level. Probably with his training, no human would reach his level, as he is assisted by his race standards (It would be the same as saying that somebody who trained its entire life would be able to fight evenly with a Super Saiyan with just a few months of actual combat training). I would personally go with Saitama because he literally started as a regular human and with training became a planet buster. Karate Kid from DC falls in the same category.

i'd wager that Luffy or Zoro could probably take Freeza on under these circumstances

This question amounts to:

1) Which character is the best at training?

2) Which character grows the fastest from training?

Personally, no candidate that is jumping to my mind is better than Frieza in these categories.

I would say Broly had as much natural talent as Frieza. His fighting style was more of a wrestling so he probably had no martial arts training either.

With same motivation Brolly and easily too.

OPM is not strong or fast.He has no limitations on his speed or strength there is no boost. He blitzes and oneshots things.
