I've been trying to find someone who can beat the King of Wakanda and so far no one has been eligible to do so. I leave this question to you all, tell me who mid level or street can beat him and how will they beat him?
Who Can Beat Black Panther thats a street or mid-leveler?
@darktiger: Spider-man is a safe bet I guess.
Deadpool eventually
Nope.
Depending on gear and setup and stuff, lots of people.
Deadpool.
Spider-Man.
Probably Wolverine.
Iron fist.
Batman.
Deathstroke.
Maybe Cap.
Etc.
It really all depends on how you set up the match, because Black Panther could beat everyone listed under certain conditions.
Jmarshmallow
Midnighter, Pre-52 Black Canary, and Spider-Man are good bets for street levelers.
Tons of midtiers would beat down on Black Panther.
Well... if you give BP his invisibility tech and energy daggers the list of street levelers that beat him probably fall to zero. The list of mid tiers that beat him fall to only those with both flight and ranged attacks.
Not sure where speedsters go, but I don't see anyone but a full fledged Flash beating BP with cloaking tech.
@darktiger: Do you consider his cloaking tech standard equipment?
@darktiger: Do you consider his cloaking tech standard equipment?
It is currently. He's used it more than once in new avengers.
@jashro44: yep. He's had good enough showings to keep up with him and outlast his stamina.
@jashro44: yep. He's had good enough showings to keep up with him and outlast his stamina.
He's not as skilled as black panther and if he has gear, deadpool cannot match T'challas equipment.
@jashro44: he's skilled enough to take on Wolverine, Cap, Taskmaster, the whole entire X Force and Cable from time to time. To say he's not as skilled is opinionated. In fighting, sure, Black Panther has a bit of an edge, but Deadpool still has durability/stamina/on par speed and strength and his fighting prowess stumps others. Unpredictability is always an advantage, ask people who've fought meth heads, it's not fun.
Deadpool could and would get a lucky shot off whether it's from a weapon, his fist, or his cut off hand like he's done against Dracula. Deadpool can EVENTUALLY beat T'Challa. His damage soak triumphs.
Open ended question.

mantis
Peter Quil
Rocket Raccoon
Agent Venom (maybe)
Morals Off Spider Man
lots of others
I don't follow the Guardians too closely but from what I've seen are you sure you not selling Panther a bit short here?
@immortalteknique: not even.. the Guardians are on a different level.
Gamora, Groot, and Drax sure but I don't know that I've seen anything from Rocket and Quill to make me think that they would pose a threat as well. I mean sure they've got powerful guns but Panther's got cloaking, speed, agility, and even a teleporter and neither of them wants to H2H with T'challa so I guess I'm just wondering what it is missing that would allow them to take a majority of wins against him.
@immortalteknique: dude Starlords elemental guns will wreck and Rocket Raccoon has a grenade that destroyed a city.
they'll be fine

The X-force roster deadpool took on would depend on the roster. Anyways you already agree black panther is more skilled so I wont go to much into his skill unless needed, but black panthers tech balances deadpools damage soak out. If he has his vibranium suit deadpools swords are the only useful weapon and he can be disarmed easily.
If its current he just turns invisible and beats him up. I still think black panther can win without the cloaking device and vibranium suit. But I wont go into that here.
I don't mean to be a noob, but what is the mid tier level. Does it depend on the characters powers or the threat of the foes he/she faces?
Mid tier means you are below cosmic level, but above street level. Think thing, colossus, iron man, etc.
@immortalteknique: well, their weaponry far surpasses the likes of T'Challas. If you can't beat em up close, take it afar. @tparks can fill you in, he can explain why they're out of T'Challas league better than I can
@jashro44: yeah his vibranium suit could pose a problem, though cutting along the grains has worked but his tech and cloak could still be damaged.. Deadpool does have that unlimited depth pouch of his with a ridiculous arsenal; but standard is usually the 'nades swords and pistols.
BP would be confident/cocky enough to take on Deadpool w/o the cloak tho imo..

actually Thing and Colossus belong in their own lvl "brick" because somes bricks can be matches for "Powerhouses" which are below cosmic but above mid-tier
think more like Alpha Flight (minus Snowbird and Sasquatch), Rocket Raccoon, Mantis, Drax, Gamora,

I consider those mid tiers. Brick is just a sub tier IMO.

If you think black panther is cocky than no offence, you don't know the character. Black Panther knows what deadpool is capable of.
@jashro44: you've mistaken cockiness for something bad. I chose confidence and cockiness as one in the same, I know the character just fine. Most characters do undermine deadpool but PIS wouldn't be an issue. His tech and fighting skills are a bit superior, which is why confidence and cockiness come in hand. You've misinterpreted what I meant.

Okay, now I'm a bit confused.
I don't mean to derail the thread, but are Black Bolt, Namor, Thor and Hulk considered mid tiers?
I understand they've got powerful guns it would just seem to me that they would have to hit him first and BP's pretty fast, agile, and has stealth tech but I'll take your word for it.
@thelurker: The truth is that who belongs in what tier is subjective, and that they ultimately don't matter.
