Who Are the Best Boxers in Comics?

I've been wondering about this for awhile. There are a ton of accomplished martial artists in western comics but what about boxers? Besides Wildcat, who else is known for their prowess in "the sweet science"?

• Can be from any mainstream or indie imprint
• Can be a well rounded martial artist or a master of all forms of fighting, like Bruce Wayne for example
• They must have on-panel boxing feats.

@kgb725: his power set allows him to master his opponents style within minutes, he has also studied people on cameras and learnt moves from there, in reality he should be easily the most skilled bit sadly marvel just treats him as a jobber now

Elbows to the neck are not allowed in boxing. Cap is bigger/stronger/faster than Shang-Chi. It does not mean he is a better boxer.

@kidman560: You don't use elbows in boxing. Also, Cap only used one attack to defeat him, which was an illegal attack.

@kidman560: You can disagree all you want, the fact of the matter is Shang can go feat for feat with Steve when it comes to combat speed. Hell honestly he might even surpass Rogers.

yeah thats a definite no... Rogers has close to spider-man lvl speed given his ability to keep up with Spider Man, Black Panther, and Wolverine in combat,

@kidman560: Steve isn't close to Spider-Man's level of speed. The only fight I can vaguely recall where one could draw that conclusion was in Civil War and Peter didn't wanna fight him in the first place. Steve has also been owned by James twice and one of those instances Wolverine had a messed up healing factor. Again..if we go by their consistent feats then we would see Steve isn't any faster than Shang.

The former scan is something I've personally never seen Cap replicate. If you know of such a feat then bring it forward..though that would still prove my point that Steve isn't faster than Shang.

Hmmmm.

I think Ben Grimm is a legit boxer.

I know Captain America has also practiced boxing.

I believe She Hulk is also a very good boxer.

Lets not forget Hercules and Ares.

Overall: I believe Hercules is actually the best boxer in comics IIRC. He's literally mastered the arts of Boxing and Wrestling.

Mmm nah. I'm not that big of a Shang-Chi fan and wouldn't debate for him all that well since I haven't read THAT much with him.

Getting your butt handed to you by Spider-Man means you're less skilled than Cap?

How about his precognitive sixth sense, his superhuman speed, and his monstrous strength (compared to that of a human).

Honestly, Spider-Man was handling Dare-Devil, was he not? Getting beat by Spider-Man is not a valid argument for losing to Captain America.

@the_last_kryptonian: that was classic spider man who was a 10-tonner at best... much more recently Daredevil has admited thats hes weaker and slower than spider man... also i was making a point that Captain America can hang with Spider Man (he has done so at least twice but probably much more) and me and juiceboks settled this peacefully already

lol thats not classic spider man... im talking very beginning (which is when the fight took place) that classic Spider Man was 10 tons... i have 2 people that have told me this... one of them is in the debater hall of fame and the other has probably forgotten more about spiderman then ive ever learned
