This is the first "creative" match I've done sorry if I'm not supposed too...I've seen people give Hulk a red ring before.
WL actually don't master have entire ES...Kyle did that to be a white Lantern
I don't know how to tag you in this post because ofthe nnew site. But hulk is not smart enough and his rage isn't focused enough to use a red ring. I thought that would mean a WL could use all the powers?
@clark_el: I love this match, Black Lantern Thanos is up there with Red Lantern Hulk. This is awesome. I think I'm going to do a Marvel New Gaurdians when I have time, Like I did for the JLA. Not sure about W.L. - S.S.
I think Phoenix is the best match, but perhaps W.L. Phonix too much for a B.L. Thanos.
@clark_el: My bad, im not a big DC person so i didnt know exactly how powerful each ring was. After researching more on the rings surfer with the white ring wins.

A white lantern is the most powerful of the emotional spectrum, and coupled with power cosmic would seal the deal. What exactly is a black lantern going to do to a white lantern?
The WL ring is far more powerful than a black. Both corps are the strongest but the advantage of the BL corps is that unlike the others is has potentially unlimited numbers not in it's individual rings.
A lot of people forget that Thanos uses Cosmic Energy as well, and he's always been far more powerful than the Surfer at base. Norrin gets the stronger of the Rings, but Thanos was already the stronger between the two of them. All this has done is give Thanos yet another Object that he can manipulate far better than anyone else.

I would like some White Lantern and Black Lantern feats. While the White Lantern ring may be more potent unless it has a significant avantage over the Black Lantern ring then Thanos should still take this as his power over Surfers backed by the Black Lantern ring should make up for any flaw the White Lantern has over his weapon. In the end, I think Thanos' power would be strong enough to challenge White Lantern SS on it's own though he'd ultimately lose, but with the Black Lantern ring he should be able to win.

@dangerousloki: The main thing about White Lantern's is that they cant die to my knowledge. Nekron cut Sinestro in half when he was a White Lantern and he reformed immediately. Also IIRC White Lantern Rings are one of the few weapons that can kill Black Lanterns
@dondave: But they can be beaten by KO or BFR or other stuff. And that's not going to mean much really Thanos is functionally immortal without the ring. It seems like it's pretty much Thanos vs SS with constructs and at the end of the day, Thanos will take that.

I generally don't have a problem with this, as long as it's not overdone. Things like upgrading certain characters to a certain physical levels, or removing powers for two opponents to gauge hand-to-hand skills is fine as long as the fight is fair in the process. However, giving people like Hulk the Power Cosmic or people like Nightwing a Green Lantern ring is unacceptable because neither character has displayed the skill and/or competence to use such weapons/items. That said, it would be difficult (and in most cases, nearly impossible) for people to debate. Threads of this nature will be locked if it becomes an issue.
