Then Mikaboshi would still have been imprisoned under the care of the Japanese gods and still have become part of the God Squad, and once the Skrull gods were slain, he'd still would have went on to reveal himself as the Chaos from which everything sprang. So even though the Asgardian's would've made a decisive difference when Mikaboshi and his forces attacked the Olympians, the Chaos War would still happened.
The only way the war wouldn't have happened is if Mikaboshi was slain during the conflict with Olympus and Asgard or he chose not to attack because of the alliance between Olympus and Asgard. The original premise in the Ares mini was that Mikaboshi decided to launch his attack against all the pantheons when he did because Asgard had succumbed to Ragnarok and was therefore out of the picture which left Olympus without it's stuanchest ally and more vulnerable to attack.
