Sh*t would go down.
What if batman was evil?
@ilikedonuts: Why do people keep using physical stats to determine who would beat Batman? By the same logic Spiderman could take on Tony Stark, Doctor Strange, and Victor Von Doom at the same time. They are all just men in the end. Smart men, but human. Do you really believe that Spiderman would beat a non jobbing Doctor Doom? He had problems with BP when his SS was down.
Batman with a week of prep should have the means to take on most low mid tier superhumans. He would also be able to take out most middle mid tier as well. The only high tier heroes he can possibly beat are noobish green lanterns, due to historic levels of PIS working against them.
Batman is rarely overrated by those who regularly read comics that are in canon. But, the only thing that is canon now is Johns disappointing League titles. So batman would break his neck in his cave by tripping on his cape.
Or we could use the REAL benchmark for DC Comics, Scott Snyder's Batman, Swamp Thing, and Superman Unchained. In which case Bruce is able to evade detection from high tiers and has the skills to possibly take down mid tier level opponents on Aquaman's level. I welcome the people who say I lowball Aquaman on the surface.
I think it could make for a cool story arc. Alternate universe or something. Batman decides to take over the world and kills the entire Justice League. Then Lex Luthor has the real Justice League teleported to that universe to take down crazy Bats. Actually that sounds a lot like the story for Injustice. lol
First of all, Batman won't just say, "Well, I guess it's time to take over the world!" He will be cunning and shrewd. Possibly even using the government as a tool to advance his own purposes. After all, the government has control of A.R.G.U.S and other secret projects that could further Batman's agenda. If Batman used a "project" of sorts to grant himself powers... Batman is scary when he gets superpowers. Every time it happens he kicks serious butt. When he does go public and attempt to seize control, others will follow him. There will be an uprising... Then the remaining members of the JLA will get involved. There will be a fight between Batman and Superman. Fans who love the loser of the fight will then whine about the outcome and yet agree that it was one of the best story arcs of all time.
I was reading some of "Countdown to Infinite Crisis" and there was this alt Universe Batman who has all of his Robins die which caused him to go all "kill everybody" so he essentially wiped out every villain and when the heroes tried to stop him he killed them too, he basically had a contingency plan for every scenario sort of like Prometheus who is another evil Batman.
It would depend on what kind of "evil" he plans to be.
If he wants to kill everyone on earth, heroes, villains. and normal people. He could pull it off, it would more be like.
Prep for a week with a good number of artifacts he can get his hands on, then hits a button. Nobody would know what was going on until the world is wiped out.
Same kind of thing if Reed Richards went evil, nobody would know until it was over.
@becauseimanerd: yea i agree. Like I said earlier. He is not going to publicly challenge superman, wonder woman, Shazam... who ever, to freaking "duel" to the death. No he'll look at options, assets, opponents, and probably even prepare for being unprepared. He would keep it on the down low until out of no where, he has control of Gotham politics and crime and so forth. I don't know about giving himself superpowers... but I like where your head is going.
I think cool thing to think about, tell me if your thoughts... would he rule as Batman, or Bruce Waine??
@jaketc123: I don't see why he couldn't do both, having the "good" Bruce Wayne win the presidency while the "evil" Batman leads a conquering crusade against other countries. By the time the people realize the deception, it will be too late. but if we were going by my belief of Batman's character, he would rule as Batman. Bruce Wayne is a façade.
well, Superman is weak against Kryptonite, an' Darkseid is weak against Radion, so if Batman used Kryptonite an' Radion he might take those two. without Radion though, Darkseid stomps Batsy an' Superman stomps Batsy too without Kryptonite.
also I didn't even mention Spiderman or Dr. Doom. of course a non-jobbin' Doom can take Spidey.
I know that physicals aint everythin', there are other important factors too so ye Batman could take some low an' mid level powerhouses with a week of prep. but Batman aint no One Above All. there are a lotta people that can beat him.
Batman would get punished. The other heroes are not incredibly brainless. Heck Barry is a forensics scientist himself, Superman is an investigative reporter and processes information and retains it in seconds. Cycborg is far from an idiot, Dr. Fate lives on another plane, the white latern is just untouchable, Aquaman is a high tier, who is an incredible force to be reckon with, even on lands he still holds an incredible physical advantage to batman. Kill him and you will have whole entire army on your butt and city sized topo, not mention a hot wife who controls water after you. Zatanna is not just going to fold like a deck of cards, john Constantine is just not going to fall back, the guys tricked the devil, and on and on....one week of prep ain't gonna give Bruce enough advantage to take on the whole DC universe of heroes, let alone every hero in comics.
he would look in the mirror and shoot himself .
wat do think will happen there is already a evil batman in the multiverse .
Okay Batman being evil you be in unstoppable villain nobody would be able to feed him is good as a superhero you to be as good as a villain I'm a hard-core Batman fan so I'll be within the matter what but the same superheroes always win we go away because the villain would start winning
He would take 30 seconds to prep himself against the universe, and in that time he would create seven Ultimate Nullifiers, solve the ALE, create his own Infinite Gauntlet with his own gems, train himself to use the HotU, build fourteen power lanterns, and create a Doctor Fate suit.

Batman stomps the multiverse. The only reason he doesn't rule over everyone is because he's got morals.

"What if Batman was Evil"
Then we've all lost. There's no hope. Just shut down your computer and end it all. There's no reason to go on anymore.
If Batman was evil he would be the DC universe's greatest nightmare! He would kill off the major heroes like Superman via contingency plans, then he could would take out all the metahumans on the watchtower explosion. The only ones left would be powerless humans which he would destroy easily! He would make Dr. Doom look like a child, after all Owlman(evil Batman)almost blew up the multiverse! THE F***ING MULTIVERSE!!! Sure, he wouldn't last a minute if he just says out loud he's evil, but with prep he would kill superhero and nobody would be the wiser!
@omegablast452: Batgod solos you worm muhahaha.
But no srsly if he's able to manipulate Clark against Diana and uses his other plans, maybe not...
With prep, Batman knows everything about his enemies and can do anything.
Not a hero but I think Joker can beat him, even with prep he is unpredictable.
he would be like dr doom
He would make Dr. Doom look like a whiny child. Batman would be like Ultimate Marvel Reed Richards and become an even greater threat than his original enemy.

I agree
@goofthefloof: no they don't
@comic_book_fan: yeah they do, Batman is street level. He takes on common thugs in his city and should never be able to hang with the Justice league
@comic_book_fan: @goofthefloof: I'm not sure what the percentage is but Bats gets stomped by MANY people if everyone is using their full abilities.
Batman stomps the multiverse. The only reason he doesn't rule over everyone is because he's got morals.
