Tyler Lockwood (TVD TV series)

vs

Derek Hale (As the Alpha) (Teen Wolf TV series)

Round 1- Tyler is in his Hybrid form.

Round 2- Tyler is a normal werewolf but its a full moon.

Derek had his pack take Caroline hostage in an attempt to have Tyler join their pack.

Both in character, fight to Death or KO.

Who wins and Why??

Derek even assuming tyler changed on a full moon derek would hit him with mountain ash/wolfsbane. Tyler could only win with a transformation and derek will be prepared for him either way

@kgb725 Tyler is a lot stronger and faster then Derek. i doubt Tyler would have to change to over power him. What makes you think Derek wouild be able to even use wolfsbane/mountain ash? Why wouldnt it affect him as well?

@neek_03: Derek could just wear a glove or something lol. But Tyler has no super speed as a normal man without the full moon. Don't say he does because it has never been shown with Tyler's uncle mason or him. Even if Tyler is slightly stronger Derek was stalemating the kanima before with no problem before Argent came. Derek is a better fighter

@kgb725 ok i guess i didnt specify that Tyler was a hybrid, so this could be before he was a hybrid. Even so he does you do see Mason display enhanced agility and strength when he breaks up the fight between tyler and the random towns guy. if tyler were to transform it seems to me the speed blitz would be too much, i am going to change the OP though.

@neek_03: 1. Derek will know that hes coming he and deaton will have come up with a plan by then to take him out

2. Derek will win without too much effort

@kgb725 Do you have anything to back up your claims? Of course Derek will know he is coming they took Caroline, they want him to join the pack. His options are join, die or take Derek down. How can Derek defeat him when he is a hybrid? Tyler is stronger/faster/more durable.

@neek_03: Its not like Tyler fights at super speed he may be faster but he doesnt fight like it no one on the show does. He may be faster on paper but he isnt going to be all over Derek unless your talking hypothetically

@kgb725 whats to stop tyler from speed blitzing him and tossing him around or ripping his heart out? Tyler has speed blitz'd his opponents many times.

I watch Teen Wolf regularly. The werewolves on there lack any good H2H skill, seem pretty slow and have been bested by trained humans, such as the Argent family.

The argents dont fight the werewolves in H2H they use weapons , guns , etc.

@kgb725: that doesn't really matter, Argent was able to get a gun under a enraged Derrick and Derrick arguably is the most skilled of all the werewolves.

They're not that great a h2h.

Tyler in hybrid form would win.

As a werewolves he's just a really fast and strong wolf.

@slimj87d: That does matter no wolf has gotten beat by a human on that show without a weapon.

derek wasn't eveen near argent when he broke the chair and grabbed a gun

gb725: point is they suck at h2h,specially with their abilities, Argent still got a gun under Derrick throat, and Derrick is supposed to have inhuman reflexes and speed.

I never said anything about humans beating them at pure h2h,I'm only expressing how they lack martial arts abilities.

Teen Wolf Werewolves aren't that fast or overpowering because Jeff Davis wants to have more options for plot devices to work against them. It's one of the reasons why I like the show though, having a extreme measure of powers is cool, but plots can suffer because of it.

That being said, I don't think Derrick stands a chance from what I have seen on the vampire diaries.

Peter Hale out of control was a powerful Werewolf. Also, Deucalion was another powerful Werewolf. I would have used one of the two in the fight, but on another forum since no one here really watches these shows.
