As it is this year.

Warriors have homecourt advantage.

7 Game Series

Each Team is Fully Healthy

Scans/Stats/Videos or it didn't happen

Who wins?

Edit: Now that the season is over, who would have one of they had met in the playoffs?

Dont watch Basketball that much, but Spurs usually always win though i know Warriors have been on the rise for a while now.

statistically the warriors should win as they have a great defense AND offense. but those stats only reflect the regular season where the Spurs notoriously dont put out their best effort. Its almost impossible to predict these things but if we were to go by advanced metrics alone we would not get an accurate depiction of what a series between these 2 teams would be like.

@kgb725: I won't disagree with you, the west is looking pretty unpredictable right now, anything can happen.

LOL I mean I guess this counts as a battle.

Warriors in 7 for me. If not, Spurs in 6.

I would say the Spurs will take it. They are a better Playoff team, and the BIG difference is the Coaches. Popovich is one of the greatest coahces of all time, while Kerr is a rookie that inherited an amazing team. Sure he did make them a bit better, but the building blocks were already there. Kawhi Leonard can also lock down Steph Curry if he is put on him. In the last game between them, once Kawhi was assigned to Curry he didnt make another basket.

I want to say Warriors so badly, but I've learned my lesson about counting the Spurs out. I still think the Warriors take it in a close 7 though. I honestly see Memphis winning the West though. I think they're the only ones who can bring down the Warriors. That series would break some kind of record for most threes though. Spurs with their three point shooting army vs Curry and Thomson alone would be quite the matchup.
