If you mean classic tank style Warpath vs most powerful Sunspot (Reignfire or post Sunspot X-Force 42) Sunspot with post 42 powers it is debatable if his powers would be strong enough to put him down. If it is Reignfire persona Sunspot he could pull it off.

Sunspot was always a cocky arrogant guy, James knows it and knows how to screw him with it.
