Before Warpath got powered down I would have said he takes this easy. As things are now, I still think it would be a good fight. Cage probably has a bit of a strength/durability edge, but Warpath is a lot faster, has enhanced senses, and those vibranium knives. He's a surgeon with those things, and I think if he could manage to stick Cage with them he has a good chance of winning.

I would go with Warpath as well. Has he been powered down since Xmen(SHiar arc) or Xforce? And to what levels?

Warpath has not been powered down since the Shi'ar arc, and X-Force is ongoing, so that should speak for itself (X-Force shows him at his current strength level). Like I said, good fight, but Cage is outclassed in speed and agility, and those vibranium blades Warpath has now should be able to penetrate even Luke's thick hide.

I'm confused about the vibranium -- they pierce metal by their vibrations, right? Is it something to do with the molecules of metal? Because if so, they'd just be normal knives to Cage. But if they work on all substances, then yeah, Warpath for the win.

I just thought vibranium only affected metal.

If vibranium can pierce Luke's skin then Warpath wins, if not Luke Cage wins.

You don't have to pierce Cage's skin to beat him.He can still sustain injuries that have nothing to do with cutting.

I don't know...I'm not convinced that Warpath's fighting skills would automatically put him over Cage. Cage has more experience, and I would think a higher level of durability. It would certainly be a tough fight.

Warpath outclasses Cage in everything except strength and as we all know...X-men take training seriously.Warpath is a far better fighter than Cage...I mean he beatdown sentinel.

I depends on the type of vibranium. Wakandan type absorbs kinetic force, momentum, etc... Antarctic type generates vibrations that breaks down the molecules in all metals (except enchanted ones), causing it to break/cut through... Warpath's knives are made of vibranium, but I don't know which kind...

Well, I was just checking my Handbooks, and both are rated the same strength level. But Cage is two levels of durability higher than Warpath, and Warpath is two levels higher in fighting skills, and one level in speed. So I'll change my answer to Warpath, although it won't be an easy fight for him.

He used to be able to fly, in the X-Force series, when Wisdom was leading it. I don't remember how he managed that, or why he doesn't now, but it was definitely flying.

I would assume that since the daggers were a gift from Storm, they must be Wakandan vibranium. It just seems easier for her to get.

Well, no, not really. He's not strong enough for that sort of leaping. And he hasn't been shown ever doing that. Myabe you're thinking of when he could fly.

i remember reading somewhere that warpaths ability to fly was replaced with the ability to jump really far. in messiah complex, it appears he can either jump really far or he got his flight back.

Can't assume that. Wakandan scientists have effectively transmuted Wakandan type into Antarctic type, with the Antarctic type they have having the same properties as the Antarctic type in the Savage Land...

As far as I'm concerned, we don't really know. Unless someone can prove me otherwise...

Based on what? I don't remember him ever leaving the ground...he was with X-Force for Messiah Complex, and they were about stealth.

Ah, well, jumping on a sentinel is different than jumping like the Hulk. The Hulk jumps miles, a sentinel is maybe 50 feet tall.

Im Sorry To Say This, But I Think I'll Give This One To Luke.

I Mean, Warpath Might Have Better Training, But Training Isn't Everything. Experience Trumps Training Ever Time, And That's Something I Beleive Cage Has More Of.

Stronger + More Durable + Experience Is What Im Seeing On His Side. And Plus, All These Years Being Best Friends With The Iron Fist? Who Is Arguably The Best Fighter In The Business?

I Just Think That Luke Is Just A Little Higher On The Ladder. It Would Definitely Be An Epic Fight, But I Think Cage Wins This One.

You Can Only Say That Through His Training. But Training Is Not Everything. It Never Has Been.

Put Some "Trained Fighter" Up Against Someone Who's Had A Real Life, A Hard One At That, Who's Actually Had To Fight. Alot. And Not Organized Fighting. Street Fighting. Life Or Death, Give It All You've Got Fighting.

Cage Is The Man For This One. He Has Way More Experience, And He's Fought Tougher People Before. Not Only That, But I Believe He Has The Heart.

So Again. Superior Strength + Superior Durability + Superior Experience = Luke Cage As The Winner In The End.

Iron Fist has taught Cage nothing.Almost anybody who is classified as an expert combatant could handle him if he wasn't so durable.Cage is outclassed in everything excpet for strength and Warpath is not only a better fighter but a smarter fighter.

No, you're assuming he can -- I'm basing my opinion off observed facts. He hasn't been shown to have Hulk-like jumping, and no one has claimed he can.

That's complete false.Training means almost everything in Marvel.She-Hulk was unable to beat the Champion of the Universe the first time around. She went and trained further and than beat him with relative easy.Iron Fist who is considered one of Marvel's best fighters has had extensive training as well as people like Wolverine.

Street Fighting doesn't make you a good fighter because there are no trained combatants on the streets.

Experience means nothing and neither does strength and durabilty...Spider-Man proves that on almost a daily basis.
