Master chief would take, as he has taken on far superior forces and enemies. spartan laser would ground war machine, then the Chief would kick his ass in hand-to-hand combat.

War Machine is far more advanced that anything a Spartan has to offer.

I would go with master chief, unless it were just a normal spartan and not chief, I might give it to war machine

LOL @ people voting for Master Chief. One of these guys handles freaking nukes. The other... doesn't. Character shields do not a powerful character make.

Chief can't hope to handle the amount of dakka Rhodes can spew out. For reference, the sniper rifle in Halo is a real anti-materiel rifle made by South Africa. That puts a pretty harsh upper limit on 117's durability given that James can put out much more firepower than that with any given weapon.

I'm a big Halo and Master Chief fan. He has done some pretty incredible things that no other Spartan is capable of.

That being said, War Machine would kill him in seconds. It wouldn't even be close.

Chief may be strong and fast enough to give War Machine a challenge. Unless he doesn't have a better equipment, , he won't stand much of a chance. @Havenless said:

@Frocharocha: Whats the need when he has more powerful weapons literally all over his body, he could just nuke them form above not to mention his strength and durability is so vastly above master chief hand to hand he would be crushed like a can of coke.

Unconvincing argument, and Haloverse plasma weaponry was made to go through *shielding* and is noted to be inferior in it's bang to buck ratio to standard kinetic weaponry (normal guns).
