Sorry if this is a stomp for Thor. In Vulcans page it says, "it can be argued that Vulcan is a match for other god-like heroes or villains such as Silver Surfer or Onslaught."

It is a stomp. Mjolnir can drain energy to higher degree (at least it has better feats) and Vulcan never matched Thor's strength level. Gladiator one-shotted him.

If this is a complete stomp and no one can provide an argument for Vulcan I'll delete this post. Didnt mean it as spite or anything like that.

No problem, simply there can be no case for Vulcan.

Thor has every Vulcan power (energy drainning, ability to fly, energy projection) in higher level and a lot of other powers.

I dont think its a stomp for thor. Vulcan is crazy powerful. He took a roar from blackbolt and survived it. I know that would have def hurt thor at least

In what way? He has completly no power that can hurt Thor. And his physical stats are nothing compared to Thor.

When Vulcan came to Shi'ar and attacked Imperial Guard. Much before WoK.

@ferdelance: Can Vulcan just de-power Mjolnir?

No chance.

1.What would he drain from it?

2.Mjolnir has higher drainning feats than Vulcan, so it would be Mjolnir drainning Vulcan, rather than opposite.

@czarny_samael666: How long would it take for Vulcan to drain its power? If Vulcan does it before Thor does why do you think Thor can then think "oh hey he's draining my power, let me start to drain his", instead of it already being too late and Thor not having any power?

Never done on someone with Thor's level of durability.

1.No, it would be Mjolnir drainning Vulcan, not Vulcan drainning Mjolnir. There is nothing to drain from Mjolnir.

2.Thor can't be drained. Similar about Mjolnir.

3.Thor can one-shot Vulcan with his hammer. As did Gladiator.

Because Thor doesn't have any energy that can be drained.

Hal Jordan has limited source of energy. Similar Hulk, Superman or Iron Man, but not Thor, Destroyer or Thanos.

Vulcan actually has limitted amount of energy. Not Mjolnir or Thor.

@czarny_samael666: I mean, not to get all technical when this is comics not real life but, everything uses energy to move. Whether its mitochondria producing ATP's or plants using photosynthesis. Thor has to get power from somewhere. Hasn't Odin stripped him of his power? Stands to reason that he can have his power taken away then.

He can apparently use his energy manipulation to suppress powers, but Thor's physiology might be different, though his Mjolnir can probably be manipulate to some degree (Magneto has done that, and Vulcan in theory should be more powerful than Magneto).

I'm not expert on Vulcan or Thor but i'm also thinking that Vulcan can hurt Thor. Every thing has energy. Vulcan affected the electrical current in Rachel's mind and she has the Phoenix force. i don't see why he can't shut down the electrical current in Thor's mind. as you said, Vulcan took an unprotected roar from Black Bolt and came back. People talk about how Gladiator one-shot Vulcan, but Vulcan took on The Imperial Guard and had an extended battle with Gladiator. Vulcan also manipulated or shut down Adam warlock magic and said magic is nothing but energy. Vulcan has a chance. here is the scan of him shutting down Phoenix mind and taking away Cyclops power.

No chance for that. Not even slightest one. Thor is leagues above Vulcan in every possible area. Every area. Serisously.

Thor should win if he fights smart.

He just throw his hammer on Vulcan face and Vulcan is KOd or dead.

When has he done it? I mean when after Darwin escaped from his body? Mjolnir will manipulate Vulcan, not opposite.

Mjolnir abosrbed Grandmaster's bomb, Nega Bomb and planet's energy to attack a Celestial. When Vulcan has done anything near that level?

Vulcan can't do it anymore, at least not what he has done to Jean and Scott, since he was depowered at the end of X-M Deadly Genesis. He was separated from Darwin by Marvel Girl.

Adam Warlock had energy that could be drained from him, Thor doesn't have any.

Gladiator could end this battle whenever he wanted. But other IG are nothing like Thor. None of them is that strong and none of them has similar powers (or its level) to Thor.

When has he affected Rachel's mind?

1.Thor's durability > X-Men durability. Not too mention his godly orgin.

2.I don't recall Vulcan doing it since X-M:DG.

@czarny_samael666:

1) i have seen nothing that says or implies Thor's brain does not have electrical pulses. If Vulcan can control massive amounts of energy then the tiny amount of energy generated by electrical pulses are nothing for him.

2) energy manipulation is his original power set. Being separated from darwin should not have affected that. Vulcan was controlling energy in War of kings so it appears he still has his powers

2) He lost the powers that Darwin gave him. As stated, Vulcan is still manipulating energy. Electrical brain waves are a form of energy, correct?

1.You don't know how it will work. Vulcan's only victims to this attack were X-Men. Normal people. It is not like Vulcan would be able to take on Galactus with this power.

2.You can't be sure how Vulcan managed to this. To my knowledge he never done that again. Until You have scan in which he did, it is not an option.

1) Thor is physiology is not much different then human. he is stronger more durable but he bleeds and has been koéd. he has also been mind controlled. Vulcan did it to a Phoenix weilder. Rachel's mental powers far surpass Thor's. Again energy is energy. there is no difference.

2) I do know how he managed it: He shut down the electrical pulses in their brains. He shut down a sentinenls power also. again proving that energy is energy whether it's mutant, machine or magic. Vulcan has controlled it all.

3) Vulcan proves he can manipulate the energy inside of other people. even if it's their own natural powers:

and here is his official bio. the very first sentence under abilities say: Vulcan can manipulate "ALL FORMS OF ENERGY"

I would say Vulcan would win if he had the powers of Darwin. Primarily because Darwin has so far been shown to be unkillable without those powers though he loses.

1.Thor physilogy can't be even similar to humans. He is immortal, his mind can't be normally affected by telepaths, he can open dimensions by his godly powers (warping reality?). He can survive in space and in core of star. He is nothing like a man. Besides, point is that Vulcan never done it to more durable beings than humans. By the same logic we could say that Vulcan can turn off Thanos' mind, Stranger's mind or Galactus' one. We don't know what kind of defences he would put thus, I don't see Vulcan affecting anyone similar to Thor by this kind of attack.

2.You don't understand - "You don't know how Vulcan has done it" means that You don't know if he has done it by his own power or thanks to all powers he had thanks to Darwin. You can't use any feat that was made when they were fused.

3.I know that Vulcan can manipulate all forms of energy - so can Mjolnir, but Mjolnir has done it in higher level.

BTW, Your links turns off my mozzila and thanks to them I had to rewrite my post...

I agree with that. Darwin would evolve to be worthy of Mjolnir and possibly even change into some god-eater or something. If he can take out Hela, he can take out Thor.

No, he wouldn't. Simply because there is nothing to suggest he could do it.

it's not impossible. Our bodies carry electrical impulses which are energy. he shut off adam warlocks magic which is immensely strong and fought the Imperial Guard and Gladiator. his power is to manipulate energy. that involves stealing, redirecting and depowering. it is possible

Cyke is using an energy, so it completly understandable that Vulcan manipulated this energy.

Mjolnir isn't energy.

Our bodies.

And Vulcan did it to human body not god's one.

Plus he didn't do it since he was depowered. He can't do it anymore.

So, no, it isn't possible. Not accroding to what we've seen. Besides, saying that he "fought" Gladiator is... well, unaccurate. Gladiator one-shotted him. And Mjolnir will do the same. Vulcan never won a battle with someone as strong as Thor. He never had to face enemy with greater energy manipulation.

@czarny_samael666: Thor's Hammer produces Kinetic Energy as it moves, Vulcan just has to redirect it Thor. As shown by Hulk, Thor doesn't react well to having his hammer hit him in the face.
