How OP would it be if Quasar had the X-Gene responsible for energy manipulation (the one Vulcan has)?

I'll keep my eyes on this for info on Vulcan.

Might end at lobo due to regen and weaponry.

He definitely stops at 8 and could possibly stop at Graviton. Anything below 7 or 8 is not much of a problem for Vulcan

Vulcan absorbed adam warlock, he dispersed him like a waste, Quasar may give him a fight.

But ON WHAT I KNOW Vulacan clears, he regenerated his body back after surviving a scream from Black bolt.

@heraldofganthet: he controls energy to fine level of degree, he once tortured a guy by manipulating the energies in his body, and no the guy is just a normal guy, no super powers, so it's his bio-energy he was controlling, to give him pain, to torture the guy just for fun, he could burn Lobo completely(since that will not bring blood), or just use the energies in his body like he did that guy to k.o him.

In a comic book I could see something stupid happening, like World Breaker Hulk overloading him.

@heirtothekingdom: i don't think it would happen. Vulcan caould just control his energies from within, or take all his gamma energy away, or just transmute it to something else.

I'm pretty sure he can get to Graviton pretty easily. Could stop at graviton, more likely stops at Quasar.

Can he defend against the superior speed of Supergirl. As far as I know he has little to no impressive reaction feats. I think he probably stops at 5.

Clears. Vulcan was an Omega level mutant who tossed Adam Warlock around like a pitbull tossing a kitten. It took a terrigen bomb to kill him.(=Solar system busting bomb)

Quasar would have no chance, no more than anyone else since Vulcan would just suck their "juices" and unleash it back to them.

As far as I know only things he can't "suck in & spit out" at you are telekinesis and telepathy.

I'm ofc. assuming that we are talking about Emperor Vulcan here during his height of power at the War of king's SL.

Its the same Vulcan. I believed he started calling himself Emperor Vulcan after he became leader of the Shi'ar Empire. His power levels were the same

I.E Vulcan is pretty much a stark raving homicidal psycho which isn't too surprising considering his 'upbringing' or more accurately the complete lack of it. so moral's on/off is completely irrelevant, he'll kill anyway just for the kicks and sometimes because his just bored.

@marlboroman: I guess it depends on Vulcan draining Quasar's quantum bands, if Vulcan can't deplete them in any meaningful way its a very close fight.

@sinikettu: The Terrigan bomb, was universal, not solar system, and it was Magus I think as well; also Vulcan wasn't amped.

Well, the time-line is a bit open for debate in GOTG V2 but according to narration he had been Magus for months already before tethering 616-Marvel with "unused future" and turning himself to Magus in the process. I think it's in issue 14 where we see the first in-panel glimpse of this

@sodamyat: Vulcan? Nope not to my knowledge, he'd never do that because Vulcan is the emperor and Gladiator lives to serve the emperor just as the rest of the Shi'ar super powered elite forces.

Vulcan got two-shotted by Gladiator, whom I believe would lose to WB Hulk. So imo, Vulcan doesn't make it past 6 but due to the versatility of his power set, he may be able to rally all the way to the last round where he would undoubtedly die at the hands of Quasar.

@jimmy_rustler: Well, what I recall Gladiator and Wb Hulk are pretty close to one another in power when it comes blow to blow though imo Gladiator should be more powerful of the two.. but you know Comics... Consistency isn't always a priority.

In any case Vulcan winning Hulk would again probably depend on draining his gamma energy, it seems to be Vulcan's favourite mode of attack.

Drain dry-blast with energy-mop up, and why not, it seems to work pretty well.
