Either way he couldn't get past vision's density shifting.
@christianrapper: I'll be honest I haven't followed N52 stuff that well. I'm more of a marvel guy. So he most definitely could be stronger. However I think Vision has the versatility to give any baseline Supes besides silver age a decent fight
What makes you think that SM would go for freeze breath right away before Vision handles SM like he did to Hyperion?
Im not saying he would do this or do that. Im simply showing a scan that you asked for. It shows Superman can tag intangible characters. So thats not an issue.

What other feats did this phaser have though? because Vision has phased through energy based attacks and even Thanos' shields. Would that not put him as good enough to phase through this or even go around it? He could just phase into the ground and pop up underneath Superman.

Are you saying Visions phasing is somehow different than Ghost Soldiers?

if they are made of particles while phased then they will get frozen by superman. I saw viners calling Visions phasing a "density shift" if that is true then that means that he's still made of particles while phasing and will get frozen by Superman. Unless someone can show scans that say Visions phasing isnt just a density shift.

The assumption is this is a random encounter where combatants are motivated to win and start 30 feet away from each other. Vision lacks the capacity to surprise Superman after he's been seen once, Superman's senses are too much for Vision to meaningfully evade.
Superman's vast stat advantage will net him tactical advantage nearly every time.
He has the tools and experience to stop phazing, better reaction time to blitz, superior general movement speed to choose the distance at which he wants to fight (he's the only one with ranged options), time enough to use his x-ray vision to tell that Vision is a robot, and damage soak/regeneration enough to ignore a knife being phazed into his heart.
Vision stands no chance unless Superman lets him get a free headshot in.

It's possible. I didn't read the issue so I wouldn't know, but Flash phases by vibrating his molecules, so different versions of phasing do exist.

I don't need you to explain to me how the Vine works. I never even said that Vision would win. I asked for feats showing Superman dealing with someone who phases, that was provided. Then I said it is possible for the sneak attack (that was obviously wrong).
Vision has energy attacks BTW so, no, Superman is not the only one with ranged attacks.

I already admitted I was wrong when I replied to Boringperson so I don't see the need to admit to someone, that I wasn't even engaging in a conversation with, that I was wrong. Maybe if you had read the other posts you would have seen this.
