Spider-Man's powers. Venom's are more advanced, but they comes with weaknesses

Well, in that case, I chose Venom, as long as i have COMPLETE control over it

I asked the op he said no weakness. I think being mentally insane counts as a weakness. but yes I agree being mentally unstable would make me want spidys powers instead. I probably would have chose venom even with the weakness as long as I don't turn into a cannibal I'm good with venoms power set.

Carnage got pregnant in of the canon-series : Venom vs carnage (around 2004) so no wouldnt wanna be pregnant either :p

Venom's symbiote just replicated Spiderman's power but an an enhanced level.

Still would go for Spidey due to spider sense.

If you don't get the symbiote's weaknesses, I'm not sure how this is even a question? Venom has everything Parker does, camouflage, increased durability especially to piercing weapons, organic webbing, etc.

But there are few problems:

• he gets pregnant? would u wanna be pregnant? (Venom vs Carnage)
• Eats human - you wanna be cannibal??
• Reproduces asexually - would u really like that??

@RainEffect: well with the symbiote, you could just think of an outfit from the top of you head and the symbiote morphs into it... thats just a start!

Going with Spider-Man all the way.

For starters, he's far more intelligent (even assisting Reed Richards lately). But, first and foremost, he has spidersense. The only reason any incarnation of Venom ever got the upperhand on Spidey is because his spidersense was negated by the symbiotes.

Finally, Spider-Man's been trained recently by Shang Chi ... making him even more badass. And showing just how fast he learns and masters martial arts in such a short period of time.

Ya, I'm going with Spidey.

1. Carnage himself said he was having uneasiness and pain all day long, so yeah although u dont go through labor you have all those problems.

The Symbiote, definitely. I'd play Chess and multiplayer games on PS3 with it, then go out and be a lethal protector. Awesome.

And you could also transfer the symbiote on a molecular level from one console to another.

Is the Cancer induced by the Symbiote in order to stimulate the aggressive parts of the brain? Because I know that Eddie's Cancer was one of the reasons the Symbiote liked him so much; it provided more adrenaline for it to "eat".

I honestly have no idea, it's really vague. Plus, Cletus in the new "CARNAGE" stuff was separated from his symbiote and didn't get sick, so that got retconned apparently.

I would think that since cancer is just abnormal cells, the symbiotes would give cancer from all the morphing and stuff they do to your body. (A theory I've heard, but idk).

@Chibio: but anti-venom isn't a choice here. :P

Anti-venom would be my preferred choice over any symbiote or spiderman / spider man clone too.

Without the weaknesses? I'd miss having full spider-sense, but Venom nonetheless.

Only Spiderman's spidey- sense is refraining me from choosing Venom. I need to give this a bit more thought.

I'd say Venom. Even with the weaknesses he's as resistant to fire/sonics as someone who doesn't have the weakness, like Spidey. As long as I have full control over the symbiote I'd absolutely take that.

I would say Venom, Same abilities but enhanced. Although i really want spidey-sense.
