As long as his confidence is high, Captain Britain's in a different league than Venom.

And the Eddie Brock version was much less powerful than the Gargan Venom.

Eddie Brock (without the symbiote) is an olympic level athlete, being able to lift around 700 lbs.

Mac Gargan (without the symbiote OR his Scorpion armor) has superhuman strength, allowing him to lift around 15 tons.

So naturally, Gargan+Venom symbiote is FAR stronger than Brock+Venom symbiote.
