well I he does seem resourceful with the suit like when he held a live grenade in his suit and put in Jack O' Lanterns helmet and blew his jaw off. 
 
Or when he was running around shooting people with his suit while saving a woman and her child but I think thats about it.

Anyone notice how Gargan with the symbiote gets so much bigger and yet he sucks so much more than the others? I guess he likes intimidation tactics. So basically he's a bully... Kinda like the symbiote changes to his personality :P
