Fight is to the death. No prep. Fight takes place in a cathedral.
Venom (Movie Version) vs a Xenomorph (Movie Version)
@PikminMania:
If we're to assume the symbiote's features are on-par or at least close to the comic book version's, then yes, he'd win. The 616 symbiote handles cutting/stabbing damage extremely well. I'm just pointing out that was never displayed in the movie, so it's impossible to be certain.
@Fetts:
Like I said, that falls under blunt force.
Hey, Movie Venom did webbing too, right?
I think it might be able to restrain the xeno enough to get in some blunt force trauma on it, with the xeno being crippled and possibly hemorrhaging, which limits its agility and keeps its bleeding internal. How much does MV know about what he's fighting?
Even without cutting into the alien, Venom can win.
Get up high, web-stick, swing alien like a hammer into hard surface.
Venom stomp.
It depends on HOW Venom plays this fight. If he keeps a good distance, uses his webbing and use his agility/strength he can overpower Alien and win. If he goes in straight and tries to slug it out and shows venerability to cutting and acid then I'm not sure.
This is tough.
I actually find it unlikely Venom would cut the Xeno. Sure, there's the potential for tendrils and such, but he often strikes, and he has the strength to basically one-shot the alien.
I'm just curious about how the film symbiote would hold up to a stab/slash, since we never saw it tested in that respect.

The Xenomorph is versatile, but I don't see it being able to do much against Venom. Acid blood is easily avoided by using blunt force, webbing can be used as constraints unless the Xenomorph's outer shell can slice through the webbing. Either way, Venom has more working to his advantage here, the suit's durability, webbing, strength.
Venom easily, I'm not sure why people are so certain they think the Xenomorph would win. Sure the xenomorph has acid for blood but Venom has proven to have quite a number of superhuman abilities and feats as also shown in the 2018 Venom movie. As @pikminmania has pointed out, the acidic blood would most likely do barely any harm to Venom
How so?
Xenomorph
Could you give an explanation as to why you think the xenomorph would win? Instead of just saying xenomorph by itself.
@k4tzm4n I honestly think this is a mismatch
@bewaredanger: The acid blood.
@bewaredanger: The acid blood.
That's exactly what I pointed out. But as I already had said, the acidic blood would barely do much to Venom thus he wins.
@bewaredanger: That acid would corrode Venom and I doubt he'd be able to regenerate because the edges of where the acid splashed would be destroyed. The DNA strands wouldn't be able to come back

i doubt it
