Venom (Flash) vs Taskmaster

Fight takes place in a super villain bar.

Round 1:

- Eugene cannot "Vulk Out".

- Eugene has standard weapons (4 hand-guns, AK-47, poison injection).

- Taskmaster has standard weapons (sword, shield, 2 hand-guns, bow and arrows (100), grenades (10)).

- Morals on.

Round 2:

- Eugene is allowed to "Vulk out" and has standard equipment.

- Taskmaster has standard weapons, plus 5 days prep

- Morals off and blood-lust on.

tm simply cant hurt venom, he can take blades and bullets easy, no sweat. grenades arent really a problem as you need consistent fire/sonics going on for a long time to immobilize Venom.

Taskmaster as good as he is doesn't have the physical stats to compare with Venom and as he isn't armed with any anti-symbiote devices (sonics etc..) he doesn't really have much of a chance. I'm not even sure he knows enough about Venom to know what to prep for in the second round. Maybe after secret Avengers 30# we'll have an idea but until then i'm assuming Task doesn't know anything about Venom so....yeah Flash should take both rounds!

Give taskmaster the murmasia blade and caraidium bullets and flash aware of that and B Then this could be interesting if flash has knowledge of this. He would probably still win but I think a case could be made for taskmaster

I think Venom takes both rounds, but round 1 could be incredibly tough. After all, Flash has taken damage from bladed/clawed attacks, so Taskmaster could potentially dish out some damage with that sword and the shield would aid him in preventing those superhuman punches from taking off his face. But I imagine eventually Flash's very physical physical attributes and variety of attacks could pull out a win. After all, one clean hit can end it (too soon, Captain America?).

I think people are really underestimating Taskmaster. It could go either way in my opinion, if Taskmaster has a good strategy. I can't wait to read this issue though.

Taskmaster is my favorite character in Marvel (thats right even above Spider-man!) but he can't win this. I think he has a chance to take a few wins in the 1st round maybe 3-4/10 (Due to the grenades but maybe this is my fanboy side saying this lol) but he is not taking a majority in either round especially not the second.

And yes, he most certainly could.

Taskmaster was dancing around venom using spidermans moves and valkyrie was making comments like "he can't match his speed!" ...apparently taskmaster is better with spidermans moves then spiderman.

Taskmaster essentially speed blitzed Venom in Secret Avengers. Used Spider-Man's fighting style. Venom couldn't keep up with him. Only Ant-Man's intervention allowed Venom to escape.

Well, the Symbiote has been nerfed since Flash's battle with Peter, but Taskmaster still shouldn't have the speed or agility required to do what he did.

It was PIS...in a forum fight, Taskmaster wouldn't have access to fire. Also It would've been much closer if Flash was in control of the symbiote and could use his agility

So taskmaster does something by copying someone who hasn't done that thing before, while not even having the abilities to try it. Although concerning the fight with spider-man, Peter hadn't trained with shang-shi at that point and had lost his spidey sense. Furthermore I thought the fight was quite even.

Anyway's i digress. Spidey snapped taskmaster's swords. There's no reason why venom couldn't do the same.

To be fair he has become a bit of a jobber these days. I think they tried to replace him with mister-x in the whole really good peak human fighter who studies your moves catergory. Indeed, Mister X wiped the floor him when they fought.
