I think he stops at 8 and this only because of the terrain. Eddie's resistance to sonics and fire has been very good for a symbiote and while Phil is packing a lot of it I doubt he'd get past Eddie's durability before Venom got him if it was in an enclosed area. As it stands this is VERY open terrain where Phil can fly around freely and bombard Eddie with sonics and explosives. Stops at 8 but only due to the terrain.

I think that street is more than 30 ft wide lol

I think he stops at Spidey. He's always found a way to beat him in the past.

To be fair spider-man usually needs prep to win. He couldn't do much to brock in a random encounter.

He has knowledge of how to beat him. I guess random encounter would mean a first meeting huh? I just assumed it was a random encounter like Spidey was swinging along and gets attacked.

You are right about it being spider-man swinging around and venom attacks him. All his experience fighting venom in the past is applicable here. But thing is Eddie mostly beat spider-man except when Peter had prep. When ever they just bumped into each other randomly and started fighting Eddie got the better of him.

Classic Kaine vs Venom would be great to see.

I think Eddie Brock would lose at Round 6. Wouldnt be an easy fight, as there is no prep, so Eddie can take them unawares; but, Norman and Otto would be able to think quickly enough, in the situation, and apply Venom's weaknesses to the fight. The team probably doesnt have the right equipment to exploit those weaknesses, but they have the intelligence to create something, makeshift, on the spot. Green Goblin's bombs would be a big advantage for them, as would the glyder.

I've always been confused on the whole symbiote strength level;i thought eddie was at least a 65 tonner. Is he really capable of only 25?

Depends how strong you think spider-man is. If you think he is a 10 tonner than 25 tons is more accurate IMO.

I assume that Phil is so high because of his lunatic laugh, but out of all the Venom hosts Eddie has the most feats in terms of resisting sonics, and Flash was able to do so. I honestly don't think he should be this high. That said, he could lose to Ben--who already beat him, as I'm sure you know--but don't think he'd lose a majority. Peter's Way of the Spider training gives him MUCH better odds against Eddie, particularly with his improved gear. Peter prior to his training was terrible without his spider sense aiding him. Kaine has the raw power and attitude to win, as does the combination of Norman and Otto. Eddie and Omega Red has too many unknowns in my opinion to predict a winner.

Pete just seems like the kind of guy, kind of like Batman, who would keep something on him to help him beat his regulars. Like how Bats carries around freeze bombs for Clayface or antidotes for Ivy's poisons. Honestly it's been a while since I've read any Spidey. Your word is good enough for me.

Personally I don't think current Peter can take Brock. His skill will allow him to do a lot better and he might be able to pull of a win but I don't think using tech is something that he will do quick enough and I don't think pressure points will work on venom.

To be fair to Venom he did lift a tank with one hand. But yeah, I always thought of him as being a bit more than twice as strong as Spider-Man.
