Scenario:

Ten velociraptors from the Jurrassic Park franchise have been placed inside an abandoned museum. 5 xenomorphs from the Alien franchise are also let loose.

Rules:

-The Xenomorphs do NOT have acid blood here (this is to prevent a double ko, for even if the raptors damage them, the blood will kill them)

-Neither know of the others abilities

-Standard pack mentality for the raptors and hive mind for the Xenos

-win by total team death only

-Fighters start off on opposite sides of the museum (300 feet apart)

Who wins??

No Caption Provided
No Caption Provided

BONUS ROUND: Same scenario as before, but the raptors get an adult female T-Rex on their side and the Xenomorphs get the Queen Xenomorph (as seen in Alien vs Predator) The queen has no acid blood either.

Even without the acid blood the aliens have the big enough gap in physicals to win.

Honestly both are pretty weak fodder, the Standard Xenomorphs have some embarrassing moments, but the Raptors have worse embarrassing moments.

Like that little Black Girl one shotting a Raptor in the Lost World. After that, the Raptors were no longer scary.

Xenos take it easilly. There is nothing to say a Veliciraptor's bite is stronger than a xeno's, they can easilly punch through armor with their inner jaws. Strength is easilly on the Xeno's side, as are weapons, armor, and versatility. Also....wall crawling + spear tails. This is stupidly one-sided. Read the book n find out just how strong an organism the xenos actually are.

Mismatch, even with the doubled numbers and a T Rex. In fact, keep Rex, remove the Queen, n the dinosaurs might actually have a chance. And likely not, if the xenos use their superior intelligence n just chill on a ceiling whipping their tail at the Rex's head.

It seems people like to forget how smart they are. Or that they feel "as strong as steel". Or that they are notoriously difficult to kill without heavy weapons or fire. Books>>movies

@egemensson: T rex solos?

accoding to this queen is bigger then T-rex which has up to 7 tonnes,13 feet but who knows,even if rex catches queen in deadly grip with that tail queen could pierce multiple times rexs body,damaging vital organs and causing death...

Round 1: Toss up. Xenomorphs have claws and the Velociraptors were agile themselves, and have more dangerous jaws. Either way.

Round 2: T Rex. Their bite force is extreme. Their arms though little could tear a Xenomorph in two and one bite to the queen and it's over. T Rex has a bite force suspected to be up to 12,000 psi. Combine that with Teeth only diamond can dent.....

Velociraptors are very underrated. They usually kill their prey by stabbing their victim's throat with their claw. They are also used to doing this and are extremely accurate and efficient at doing it. Plus they are far superior when it comes to agility. And they may have been knocked out by a kid but that was PIS. Round 2: T-rex's bite force is far too extreme for the big xenomorth to handlle. It has the highest biteforce of any land predator ever to live minus prehistoric crocs. And the xenomorph's skin isn't very tough.

@lukehero: The little black girl kicked it out of a window. Not to mention she had lots of momentum. Gymnastics also gives a person a strong body. Do you think she could have killed it hand to hand?

round 1: raptors, more intelligent and are renowned pack hunters. they will hunt down the xenos and kill the strategically.

round 2: is different, the xenos are better organized with a queen but the raptors if they can work off the t rexs strengths, they can pull a win.

I think raptor pack hunting and intelligence is being underplayed here.

@evilduckling: Being knocked down by the kid is not PIS. How is it PIS please explain? Both of the first movies were done by Steven Spielberg? PIS is usually the result of too many people working on characters they don't understand or don't care about and are willing to cut corners for the sake of story. Jeff Goldblum was able to push a raptor off of him when the raptor tried to crash through the door IIRC. Raptors don't have many strength feats.

@guardiandevil83: Does not matter, it's embarrassing. Xenomorphs could create momentum from the way they fight & leap. Also she was not even moving that fast in the first place.

Loading Video...

Now you are gonna scream & yell about the floor inside the freezer being slippery, but the Raptor clearly regained it's footing and was able to take a huge leap at the door. Then gets overpowered by the might of two children.

Loading Video...

Not convinced? Alright...

Sam Elliot knocks down a Raptor that was feeling froggy with two Bat Kicks to the face..

Loading Video...

So for all of the good raptor, feats, yeah there are some pretty bad ones and they are pretty consistent in the first two films directed by Steven Spielberg himself.

For anyone that thinks the Aliens win R2:

For round 2: A T Rex is 40 feet tall, an Alien Queen is not more than what? 12 to 15 feet tall? That's quite a size difference.

T Rex would literally stomp and solo.

Too bad those aren't velociraptors, but Deinonychus. Real velociraptors were the size of chickens, while the ones portrayed in Jurassic Park were deinonychus or utah raptors.

@sparnage: Yep. They decided to go with the name Velociraptors, because the Name Raptor was more catchy. Actors in read through rehearsals had trouble saying the name Deinnonychus.

And UtahRaptor...doesn't sound very exotic or scary does it?

@nerdchore:

I'm assuming OP meant the big scary ones that were portrayed in the movies anyways.

@lukehero:

Not going to lie, I had to google how to spell deinonychus (but I remembered Utah raptor)

Late to the party, but while Xenos hold a big advantage in physic, Raptors specialize in cooperative hunting, how often do we see the Xenos actually coordinate an attack, on their own they are pretty darn stupid (strategically speaking), the raptors could lure the aliens in or take advantage of their own speed for hit and run tactics. Close, but not close enough for me, if the numbers were equal then the gap made by strategy would be useless because having greater numbers is a huge advantage. As for round two, the queen is truly the brains of the operation, bridge the gap between the Aliens and Dinos strategic levels. However the Raptors now have the Trex for both cover bur leverage, similar to the fight with the Indominus, the Raptors obliviously know how to take what advantages they can, I doubt the Queen can come up with a plan like that simply because she usually relies on brute strength when she herself partakes in combat, which in this instance she would lose, and again, cooperation is a big factor, While the Alien team is being run by the Queen, the Dinos have 11 minds to work with.

@mojoclaw9: Idk what you're talking about...Aliens are shockingly effective strategists, alone or in groups. The first one used hit and run guerilla strikes from all directions (including above and below) from places the humans couldnt follow, effective even when the crew tried grouping up. In the second movie they were able to infiltrate the ducts and approach the military squad point blank before initiating their attack. They'd just drop in on the raptors at point blank range from angles they can't reach, and the raptors can't counter that because they can't climb walls.

The book compared them to humans in intellect, and they're also intelligent enough to identify the purpose of specific rooms and determine where they're targets are heading based on that, such as when the alien knew to head Rippley off in the escape pod after she set the ship to self destruct. That's a far higher comprehension than the raptors, the only JP dino that comes close is Indominus. Also, you're misunderstanding their hive mind...they arent one mind, they're just particularly coordinated team players that can even have internal conflicts. They can solve problems on their own or together just fine.

Add on that the aliens can bend and puncture steel and have been compared to steel in durability...the raptors literally can't hurt them.

The alien queen was overpowering Rippley's power loader, which had a capacity near 9000 lbs. It can nearly lift a small t-rex (11,000 lbs) in the air, but it'd probably just wrestle it down and tail whip it to death. The Trex's bite is between 3000-8000 lbs, btw, meaning the queen can literally pry its mouth open.

There is a number of questions that make this outcome difficult to determine. First being placed in a building would give advantage to the Xenos. They are more adaptable and it would take the raptors out of their environment. The second question is could a raptors claws or bite pierce the the xenomorphs carapace. They may not be able to and if that’s the case it’s obviously game over. But given that the raptors can inflict mortal damage they seem to be highly physically superior in strength and agility. If you look only at how many humans it took to kill how many of each. In aliens, which is the best of the series, one squad of 12 marines kills at least a hundred aliens. In the new Jurassic Park a larger squad of armed men get decimated by a small squad of raptors. I think if the battle is in a closed jungle and if the raptors can pierce the alien exoskeleton the win goes to the raptors. Oddly most people think the Xenos would beat the raptors and the T. rex would beat the queen. I think the queen takes it in that one. She has much greater agility and if she gets on the T. rex back and starts stabbing with her 10ft spiked tail he’s going to have a real bad day. I’m just not sure what would break first. The xenomorphs skin or the raptors teeth.
