Trigon’s fingers started to dance through the air, releasing thin tapes of fire and shaping them into words and symbols.
He was tired of all that had happened with his daughter. Too many times he had tried to kill her or turn her into one of her fellow demons… and each time he had failed. But now he would have taken care of her and some other threats once and for all.
The ground under his feet started to tremble and the rocks started to shake and their shape changed.
In a few minutes a giant Arena had risen in front of the Hell Lord, full of rocks and waterfalls of magma.
Then Trigon clapped his hands.
Two shining portals appeared inside of the Arena and a bunch of people in armors and shining costumes emerged from the two step discs.
“Father? What’s happening? Where are we?” said Raven when she looked around herself and instantly saw her father, who smiled at her.
“Welcome to my Arena, heroes and warriors!” he screamed. “There’s no chance for you of surviving, but there’s also no chance for you of not fighting. Your worst enemies are in front of you, and even if some of you have never met you will find your blood boiling with rage at their sight. Kill, murder, torture! Everything is allowed in this Arena!”.
“You will never…” started to say Nico Minoru, but her voice trembled.
“Oh, you already feel it, right? The need. You want to fight. You need to.” Said Trigon with a smile. “The Arena is finally opened!”.
This is an Arena kind of battle. Classic killing, but with a twist.
Every five minutes an horde of demons will enter the Arena and they will attack you. Which kind of demons? Mindless Ones! Yep, crossover time!
50 Mindless Ones for your teams to face while they kill each other.
Ahh 100square meters really isn't enough for the teams to have adequate room to move IMO. If you think about it that is only two lanes of an Olympic pool (50 meters long two meters wide) or 1/3 of an Olympic pool in total size. Pretty cramped area for 10 combatants without adding more players
2000 square meters would be better, about the size of a football field ( 100 x 20)
@youngjustice: @veitha: A bigger field would be great. anywho, basic rundown of characters
Yoshina Ageha
He is a Psi user. His is unique Psi, is a special burst type called "Melchsee Door" Which is basically a black Sphere that consumes all matter it comes in contact with. Got it? Good. He has also "Programed" Melchsee to work in a variety of ways and to lessen the strain on his Brain when using it. It allows him to manipulate Melchsee to form different shapes for different Situations. Be it a long range Snipe(Lance), Close range Buzzsaws(Shield) or and AoE defense(Vortex)He is also capable of using "Nova" level Psi. This cloaks Yoshinas Body in Melchsee and Gives him access to a large amount of individual Melchsee that he can operate and control freely. IT also boost his Physical capabilities tremendously.
Lucy in the Sky
She is part of the Original Runaways with Nico Minoru, But her parents were Aliens from the Planet Majesdane, and as such, Are capable of absorbing solar radiation to exist in Light forms. This grants her a few powers.
Majesdanian physiology allows for several powers and special adaptions including:
Solar Energy Manipulation: They is able to absorb solar radiation and convert it into a unique energy type which she can manipulate for various uses. Power level is related to exposure to sunlight. It is possible this is absorption of some sort of cosmic energy. This solar energy is stored in every cell of their bodies, even blood.
Bioluminescent: In their natural state, Majesdanians' skin and hair are luminescent with shimmering, rainbow-colored light of solar radiation. This vibrant appearance can be suppressed to appear human through training or through specific types of metals.
Light Energy Blasts: Majesdanians can also project the solar energy in a beam of variable intensity and diameter, from a wide concussive blast to a thin laser-like cutting beam.
Force Fields: Majesdanians can control the projected energy forming defensive barriers, enfolding shields, or restraining people.
Heat Manipulation: Majesdanians can both withstand extremely high temperatures[1] and emit warmth.
Flight: Majesdanians are able to propel themselves into the air leaving a rainbow-like trail behind.
Enhanced Strength: Majesdanians also appears to be stronger than an average human.
Nico Minoru
Once called Sister Grim, she is part of the Marvel comic book group "The Runaways". this group consist of Teenagers that soon discovered their parents were actually supervillains that had been sacrificing people in order to destroy the world to create eternal peace for themselves. Lets just say their children(Save one) did not feel the same way about the situation. After a big fight wherein they fought, lost killed, etc. they finally vanquished their parents control over the City of Angels. The problem was they created a huge Power Vacuum that other villains wished to fill, so now, that's what the runaways do, keep the city safe from them. I am using Post Resurrection version of her.
now enough about background, here are the good parts.
As her parents were black Mages, Minoru has some magical aptitude, but she has never received proper training. So far she has relied on the Staff of One to work magic. After her encounter with Witchbreaker her abilities were augmented so that she can create smaller magical effects without the aid of the Staff. She can freely float, although this ability is not as useful as actual flight which requires a spell. She was seen moving objects with her mind to clean the Runaways new home.
Flight: She can fly with the Staff of one.
Magical Telekinesis: She can levitate and move objects with the mind magically nor psychokinetically.
Witch Arm: The new arm itself works similar to her using the Staff of One to cast spells.
She cannot repeat spells with the Staff or they either won't work or will cause a random effect. This was evident in the early period of the Runaways escape from their parents when Nico attempted to use the "freeze" spell she had used on Stacey Yorkes and accidentally conjured a flock of pelicans. The use of different languages and the extent of her vocabulary permit her to perform more spells. With Amadeus Chos brain, this will not really be a problem.
The Staff of One: This ancient magical item has become a part of Minoru. She can call it forth by shedding blood (through cutting herself, menstruating or being wounded) and reciting, "When blood is shed, let the Staff of One emerge." The staff appears out of her chest, passing through her skin and clothing without harm. Once summoned, the staff used to work for anyone. But as evidenced by the confrontation with Val Rhymin's magician the Staff has recently developed the ability to defend itself in a violent manner. Minoru can cast spells by invoking painful memories, thinking of an effect, and giving the spell a name. There are no "standard" spells; in fact, casting any spell a second time produces an unpredictable (and usually undesirable) effect. Minoru's spells can affect the elements (earth, air, fire, water), time and/or space, matter and/or energy, light, biological processes, and mental processes, and can apparently summon creatures from other dimensions; in short, the staff allows Minoru to do anything she can imagine, short of raising the dead. After the staff has expended a certain amount of power, it disappears inside Minoru again. The Staff has been recently updated into a version of the Witchbreaker's Staff, Nico's magical powers considerably augmented.
Eragon Shadeslayer
Magic
Magic was the art of thinking, as Brom mentioned that a true master of gramarye could use the word for "water" and create something that appeared to be entirely unrelated, such as a gemstone, though the relation would be clear in his mind. A magic user's abilities were limited by his knowledge of the Ancient Language; the smaller his vocabulary, the fewer feats of magic he was be able to perform. This was the common misconception. The more clever the spellcaster, the more they could accomplish with one word plus what they could do without the structure of the Ancient Language.
As explained by Oromis, sound itself had no control over magic. Most magic users, however, continued to speak words aloud, ensuring that stray thoughts did not disrupt the spells they cast.
A person's ability to use magic was often characterized by a specific color. For Dragon Riders, this color was very often the color of their dragon. Eragon's color was blue, matching Saphira; Murtagh's color was red, matching Thorn; and Arya's color was green, matching Fírnen.
Riders usually directed their magic using their hand with their gedwëy ignasia.
Since magic depended upon the caster's life energy, a spell beyond the caster's capability would either kill them, whilst a spell close to the limit would render them unconscious. Also, when the magical energy was released, it couldn't be undone. Thus, if a caster was to formulate a spell so that there could be only two options (success or death) and a stronger adversary could prevent the spell from succeeding, the caster would invariably die. This could be circumvented by formulating spells as processes which could be cancelled at will.
The Eldunari are the Hearts of Hearts of Dragons. They store all of the Life energy of the great beast and all of their knowledge. By the battle of Galbatorix, Eragon has around 360 with him. With that he was able to tank a Nuke in the form of Galbatorix converting his body into energy. He then gained access to Galbatorix store of Eldunari, of which consist of nearly double his.
Swordsmanship
Eragon was a naturally talented swordsman, advancing quickly in a short period of time, to be able to hold his own against far more experienced opponents. Eragon demonstrated his skills in the first book by eventually defeating Brom in a sparring match and sparring evenly with Murtagh, despite the fact that both Brom and Murtagh were formidable swordsman who had spent most of their lives studying and practicing swordplay. Saphira remarked that few could match Eragon with a blade.
The elf strength and agility he gained, combined with his advanced swordsmanship, allowed him to best any human or dwarf warrior, along with most elves, such as Vanir. Still, he was outmatched by opponents with more skill than him, such as Arya and Murtagh. However, after training with Glaedr, Eragon was able to overcome this obstacle. To do this he used The Way of Knowing, a skill that allowed him to interpret body language and combine that with all he knew of his opponent and then he would use that knowledge to his advantage. Using The Way of Knowing he was able to duel Arya as an equal and finally defeat Murtagh. As taught to him by Brom, Eragon's fighting style consisted of fast and elegant techniques. He was also an adept archer and hunter, a trait only enhanced by his transformation. He could debate the finer points of these activities for hours, as well as hunt in the Spine without suffering an accident, a mighty feat considering that entire legions of Galbatorix's troops were unable to (although this was mainly because of the Urgal armies there). Roran thought of Eragon as a very skilled woodsman and hunter, better than himself. Eragon had calluses on his knuckles, similar to (and inspired by) the dwarf Shrrgnien'sAscûdgamln, which shielded his knuckles when he punched things.
Koumei Ren
Dantalion is the Djinn that Koumei obtained when he conquered the 71st Dungeon.
This space-governing technique is a magic most ideal for intellectual battles By drawing the constellation Big Dipper, with his fingers it acts as a magic circle that can teleport objects or persons through it to another constellation. He is also able to transfer the potential damages that a certain area may receive away from the place and can even teleport a great amount of material like a mountain, but it is quite exhausting for him.
In his Djinn Equip form, Koumei has horns, which are of an appearance reminiscent of Greek mythology, on each side of his head and his hair loose. The djinn equip that wraps Koumei’s body with hard armour is simple and emits a calmer air about it, compared to those of his siblings. He has the eight pointed star symbol on the back of each hand and a mantle coiled around his back with constellations that imitates the night sky drawn on it.
Anything that befalls the boundaries created by the light from his hands can be teleported to other places. Despite the simplicity, Koumei shoulders a very important role.
What my characters do is up to how you handle your prep.
We start with the Princess of the Underworld Raven! Raven is a natural mystic due to her demonic heritage and has a strong connection to her soul self, letting her be able to produce powerful and versatile attacks, ranging from Telekinesis, Empathy Control, and much more!
One of Raven's many underrated abilities is her healing. In the scan above she absorbs Cyborg's pain long enough to heal him, she then send the pain outwards.
Next up, we have Witchfire, continuing on the Demonic Daughter theme, Witchfire is a superhero turned baddie and is definitely a magical powerhouse. Witchfire is capable of almost anything, being able to use devastating spells causing several disastrous effects!
One of Witchfire's most useful abilities is her ability to sense out any magical presence in the area, also being able to narrow it down to what time of magic is being used. This ability will come in great use due to you choosing Nico.
Moving along from magic to science, we have Jeremy Briggs! A young scientist who just happened to have had his mutant powers unlocked by Norman Osborn, giving him amazing matter manipulation abilities that are able to take down people within seconds.
Like I mentioned before, Jeremy Briggs is a pretty tough guy. Briggs pretty easily turned the oxygen inside of Hazmat's helmet into Carbon Dioxide as he was simultaneously being attacked by 5 others. Not to mention this was him not attempting to kill them.
Another product of science on my team, we have Metamorpho! The man who is easily one of the most versatile and dangerous people in DC history, being able to turn into all types of matter, no matter what the shape, density, or color!
This is honestly one of my favorite Metamorpho feats, as it shows how versatile he is in terms of what he can become and what he can defeat. In this scan Metamorpho becomes a corrosive gas and completely fried a robot within a few seconds.
Finally, we transfer from magic, to science, and lastly to machines! I present you with Machine Man, a robot that was somewhat a placemat for machines in Marvel comics until we had more technological creatures in the Marvel universe, Machine Man has it all. Strength, Durability, Blasters, Scanning, it'd be easier to list the thing he doesn't have.
This...this was just a generally awesome moment. After Machine Man gets completely broken down to the limb, he remotely controls his limbs from his head. His limbs completely obliterate these technicians and go on to form themselves without a head.
Alright...well that was my team. Now my prep!
Prep
In prep, the first thing we'd do is create infinite demon hounds via Witchfire, they would only spawn 100 at a time, but they would constantly respawn per one that dies.
Machine Man will engineer some gas masks for my team, to make them immune to deadly/dangerous toxins.
That is really it for prep on this map, most of my deadliness is on the battlefield.
Battle
When the battle starts, Jeremy will turn the air into suffocating gas , making your team have breathing issues on top of everything else.
Next, Witchfire will use her time trap spell on Yoshina, making him incapped until the rest of the match.
Now, while the rest of your team is already being affected by the gas, they'll be pretty focused on not suffocating to death. Machine Man will physically demolish Koumei in combat, due to him already being weakened. He has excellent reflexes, Koumei wouldn't be able to land a hit. Machine Man pretty easily ran all over a raged out Hulk, something that Koumei couldn't ever do.
Next up it's Nico, Eragon, and Lucy left over, Eragon will be pretty quickly taken down by Briggs using a very simple trick.
Combined with the suffocating gas, this is a pretty much guaranteed kill. Not to mention that Briggs was trying to just incap them in this fight, he'd go for something for fatal like the heart in this instance.
Lucy will be taken out by Raven. Raven would put Lucy into her soul self. Lucy isn't go to last very long in Raven's soul self, Lucy will be extremely traumatized due to the effects of it, due to it showing the users very worst fear. A few minutes inside of Lucy's soul self and Lucy will be gone for the rest of the match.
*note - I will edit the Soul Self scan in later, I can't find it atm.
Finally we have Nico, Nico would be destroyed without saying.
Her magic is good, but Witchfire would pretty easily demolish her. Witchfire has an extreme amount of skill in witchcraft and shouldn't have a problem with taking her down with the addition of the rest of the team pounding on her as well. They'd make short work of her.
@veitha: @youngjustice: Great, the only team more hax then myself. We can BFR? Also, if he can turn the Air in my lungs to water, how come I can't use Deathwords?
and finally, Infinite Minions? Bring it. When the above two are answered, i'll post.
No time manipulation on other character, of any form;
No insta-killing moves, or this would just be a "who shoots first" match;
Transmutation can be used only to incapacitate, not to kill.
BFR: Okay.
Time Manipulation: Okay.
Insta-Kill - Who did I insta kill? If he posted first a different strategy would've been posed, but since he wanted me to, I did and chose tactics that would take them out quickly. I'd be happy to leave my prep and take away my battle part.

you also cannot use transmutation to instanlty kill enemies, just to incapacitate them. Turning air in their lungs into something lethal sounds like insta-killing.

It's not an insta-kill, combined with the gas it might be, but by itself Reptil was able to survive for a few minutes.
@funsiized Gets my vote, only because it seems YJ was trying to insta win. Sorry YJ. :\
No problem man.
Although to everyone, I really wasn't trying to insta-kill, I openly state that I am horrible at opening posts to be completely honest and Funsiized insisted that I started first, this is the main reason why I don't do opening posts, because my tactic is to use the most effective strategy in order to take my opponent out. Just wanted to put that out there quickly.
