Fables vs Mangas! Defend/Attack the Castle

“Enough with the word games, Totenkinder. Tell me what’s happening”.

The voice of Bigby Wolf raged towards the old, creepy woman sitting on her rocking chair. She threw a burning blink to the wolfish man, keeping knitting her endless stream of wool.

“The Japanese Fables just tricked us, Bigby” she replied. “After Rapunzel’s adventure with them yellow faced people, they were so angry that they started cutting the same fabric of reality. I perceived that something was going on but…”.

“But you didn’t tell us” said Bigby with an angry expression on his face. “As usual”.

“Where’s the other sheriff? I like him better…”.

“Granny, don’t make me turn into my beastly side” said Bigby Wolf. “Tell me what they just did”.

“They conquered the Farm, Wolf Valley is the only thing we still own” she replied. “They summoned a bunch of people from alternate realities – a warrior woman, a spirit, a swordsman, an homunculus - and they were easily able to conquer one of our main possessions. The entire Farm and every Fable in there is now under their control. What do you plan to do, Bigby?”.

“They’re from another reality? Are they Fables like us?”.

“Of course, no. They’re considered more or less mundanes in their own world, but they’re part of a completely different category. Even if one of them pretends to be King Arthur’s daughter”.

Bigby smiled. “Then, if they’re not Fables like us, me and my team will have no problems beating the hell out of them”.

This mission is about protecting your team’s base and attacking the other team’s base!

Team One starts directly outside Wolf Valley, Team Two starts at the Farm(Farmland). Since this is set in the Fables’s universe, to make it fair let’s say that no one can interact with other characters or ask for help during the battle. During prep time, you can access to both the Universe to which your characters belong.

Your mission here is to protect your base and at the same time attack and conquer the other team’s base. Build defenses or just go for the straight attack, it's up to you to choose!

@wbr17hmm i've seen the gameplay of the wolf among us & they didn't seem all that strong but maybe comic versions r more powerful?Oh well, here's an overview first.

Layfon Alseif

Layfon as an ex-successor of the Heavens Blade possess incredible fighting power. Compared to a regular Military Arts student he's a monster with unimaginable strength which is enough to beat a Filth Monster one-on-one. He's holding back greatly and because he's yet to mature his power fluctuates sometimes depending on his mood.

Kei: Layfon has an unnaturally high amount of Kei. That and his extraordinary skill at Kei are what made him into a Heavens Blade receiver at the age of 10. Although because of his high Kei only the best Dites can contain his full power. Anything below that is prone to break.

Strength: His high amount of Kei gives him great physical strength. He can effortlessly push a regular Military Artist away with a gentle toss or slice through the hard carapace of Filth Monsters. Although by Heavens Blade standards he isn't that extraordinary. He leans on his Kei output more.

Agility: Layfon has incredible agility. He can move so fast that a regular Military Artist can't follow him. Layfon is a master at dodging and evading incoming attacks. His honed fighting instincts lets him determine each move of the opponent and act accordingly. With the help of external Kei bursts he can also briefly keep himself in the air. Also with he can pull of various acrobatic maneuvers with his Steel Threads.

Learning: Layfon can learn new techniques just by experiencing them once or a few times. The only exceptions are the techniques at the level of Heavens Blade which needs more effort and even then he generally can't copy them perfectly.

Sight: Layfon has his sight enhanced with Kei to see further. Additionally he can see the flow of Kei in a very detailed way and later he learned how to see clearly at night. His sight is so precise that he can see millimeter thin or less wires from tens of meters.

External Kei Bursts: Layfon can use a wide diversity of External Kei techniques. He can shoot those blasts at long distance with extreme precision. In terms of raw power he's no slouch either and his moves can be very devestating. He can keep up with his ex-fellow Heavens Blade receiver, Savaris in terms of power.

Stamina: Layfon can fight three days straight with only minor signs of exhaustion. Although he's mentally not exactly on that level and despite his body can take it even longer his mind starts to get overwhelmed by then.

Amamiya Sakurako

Amamiya is from the series psyren. She got her Psi powers when Q dragged her to the future and prepared her for incoming dangers. PSI is the ability to manipulate the surroundings using the power of the mind by using the brain's full capacity instead if only a part of it, where as your thoughts fuel your power and your brains cells in the brain are at full capacity.

Burst: Burst is used to manipulate the environment such as telekinesis

Rise:Rise is used to manipulate the user herself (such as increased reflexes, enhanced senses and natural healing.)

Trance: Trance is used to manipulate other people (such as telepathy and Illusions.)

Mind Jack: A form of trance that resembles a chain with a jack at the end of it. It is incorporeal and is used to connect with the brain. When connected, she can travel in their mind. It can also be used to create illusions. She can use this to create up to 4 thin jacks that are impossible to see in a quick glance.

  • Mind Jack: Insanity Size - Amamiya conjures a giant crystallization of her Trance in the shape of a scythe. By creating this the enemy begins to feel the trance waves it emits. When shattered, it releases quantum thought waves that cause the enemy to hallucinate, giving her time to defeat them with her Rise. Apparently, she can also imbue pre-existing weapons, like a knife, with this ability.

Superhuman - Amamiya is extremely proficient in Rise. An all-around Rise user, she has both quick reflexes from Sense type Rise and speed from Strength type Rise. She was able to catch mid-flight an arrow shot by Alfred and capable of quickly latching onto, and breaking, the arm of Shiner in a split second. Despite being very skilled in hand-to-hand combat, she employs various weapons, mainly swords, with great mastery to fight at close range. Abyss managed to stand up and fight after being shot in a shoulder: this was probably accomplished through the use of another type of Rise, similar to Asaga's.

Split Personalities: When using Nova, along with the sword Red Bones Of The Evil Soul, the combined powers allowed both Amamiya and Abyss to be "out" at the same time. Amamiya uses her Trance abilities to read the minds of their opponents and Abyss uses her powerful Burst Scythes to attack accordingly, thereby making Amamiya an almighty type, able to use all three types of PSI. This ability makes Amamiya and Abyss a formidable combination.

Intelligence: Archer can come up with complicated plans and switch between them on the fly. Able to quickly determine the opponent’s strengths and weaknesses to shift his tactics accordingly. Technically if there’s even 1% chance of victory, he can still win.

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

- Projection: Commonly known as Projection (投影 touei), Gradation Air is a Magecraft that materializes objects, in accordance to the caster’s imagination, through the use of prana. Gradation comes from the fact that the created object slowly fades away after being created, and Air is an allusion to the fact that said object is made out of “nothing”. More in Projection. Projection is limited to materials that exist on earth and the prana the tracer can use on his body at a time, it also down rank 1 level the traced item.

- Reality Marble, Unlimited Blade Works: Within the boundaries of Unlimited Blade Works, Archer has access to any weapon he has ever replicated or seen. In addition, further replication is facilitated to such a degree that it becomes effortless, and Archer can create new weapons instantly, and seemingly without penalty. Once reproduced, arms are registered within the bounded field, and they can be reproduced by the Gradation Air magecraft even without the Reality Marble’s activation. However, reproduced weapons lose a rank. It is also possible to reproduce defensive items, but the prana cost is two to three times higher than other Projections. Furthermore, armament prepared during the formation of the bounded field keeps consuming prana from the formation to the preservation of the bounded field. The prana cost is also high when recreating those that were destroyed or when creating those that didn't exist when the bounded field was created.

- Marksmanship: True to his class, Archer has an exceptional skill at shooting from long range. His reinforced eyes can count the number of screws on the bridge 4 kilometers away. According to Word of God he can also snipe Servants from that range, even if they were on the move.Whether he accomplishes the later by predicting his opponent or the arrow deliberately changing course on mid-flight is unknown. Archer can modify Noble Phantasms to behave like arrows and shoot repeatedly at a machinegun-like rate.

- Broken Phantasm: Archer can overload a Noble Phantasm with huge amounts of prana and release it as an arrow. The power of the Noble Phantasm increases considerably and its mystery raises up by a whole rank. As a consequence the Noble Phantasm won't hold for long and destroys itself on impact. That's extremely wasteful for any Servant but Archer who can trace any number of weapons. Charging up Noble Phantasms does take a long time though, up to even 30-40 seconds. Broken Phantasms are remarkably fast, in the hypersonic+ range. Hrunting for example flew 4 kilometers in less than a single second.

Stamina: Effectively limitless as long as her Master supplies her with magic power, fought for hours without exhaustion while having no method to replenish her magic. Saber also has commendable endurance as she can fight even with grievous wounds, albeit with reduced capabilities.

Intelligence: Above Average. Became a king at the age of 14 and successfully lead her country to prosperity. Has the ability to effectively command large armies and govern half of Britain. Thanks to being Merlin's apprentice she has good knowledge of magecraft even though Saber herself can barely use any sorts of spell.

Dexterity: Saber is the master of the sword and knowledgeable in the arts of war. In combat she developed a keen intuition close to the level of precognition to predict the opponent's attacks before they were even made and use the best way to counter. Her combat style centers on speed, quick spins and acrobatics combined with powerful blows and good handling of the sword.

Illyasviel Von Einzbern

Illya is from the mage family known as Einzbern. Her magical powers have gotten sealed ever since she was eight months old & was unaware of her powers & origin until she finally learned about magic throught the kaleido stick, Ruby which have a mind of its own.

Once some1 have been recognized as the master of the kaleido sticks, they have the ability to peform magecraft by just *imagining it* such as flying, create magical shields & enchance their physical stats

By default, they have auto-shields but can also create several layers of shields if necessary. + A healing factor that could heal wounds in a few seconds etc.

@veitha I had choosen 7 days prep and 3x DareDevil senses. I liked the opening dialogue! Can you be more specific about the winning conditions? I want to know more about conquering enemy base.

Fables are magical characters from Homelands (several magical worlds), some of them live in the Mundane World (our world). Fables are immortal, living for thousand of years, they don't age. I think that's the basic about all Fables.

Bigby Wolf AKA The Big Bad Wolf

He is the son of a wolf and Boreas, The North Wind. He is the wolf in Little Red Hood and Three Little Pigs stories. One of the most powerful members of fabletown, once its detective, responsible for their safety and investigations. Bigdy has vast experience dealing with investigations, espionage, war and combat, he is a force to reckon on battlefield as well behind the desk making plan and taking difficult decisions.

Bellflower AKA Frau Totenkinder

A witch that is thousand+ years old, she is the nameless witch in almost every story. Frau is the former leader of 13th floor witches (a group of powerful magical users fables). She is vastly experienced in all kinds of magic. Once she went toe to toe against one of "The Great Powers" (conceptual entities with great power; wind, hope, darkness...). She is very cunning and a cold strategists, waging a war during centuries against another powerful magic user and his empire. She has escaped death, demonstrated precognitive abilities and sense things even in other worlds. She has centuries of accumulated magic.

Aside her magical prowess she is a great strategist, creating countermeasures to everything.

Lumi AKA The Snow Queen

She is the queen of winter. Wherever she is it is winter, it snows and it's extremely cold, but she can control it at her wil. King Flycatcher AKA Flycatcher

He is the frog from The frog prince. He was blessed by a higher power and become a king of the same other of Aslan, King Arthur and John the Presbyterian. He received the power of honor and justice, and will be undefeated while he stays pure. He is worth to hold excalibur. Flycatcher won't kill anyone but don't have problem to fight to defend the people he loves. He is the ruler of Haven. He survived a power that completely destroys everything that come in contact with it and months without food and water.

Power and abilities:

Force field, ghost control, teleportation, magic mimic/copy/learn, healing, nullify power.

He has a magical armour and a magical sword.

All my characters are from the same comic, they know each other very well and has worked together that's give me practically the perfect team work perk for free. Also the battle is on my homeland that already give me huge advantage. My team is formed by prep master and I'll have 7 days of prep, later I'll show how troublesome it'll be to your team to deal with that and how its translate in full wiki knowledge perk to me either.

I'll post prep time and strategy another day.

Can you answer me a few question? How the powers of your team works, do they need to say specific words? The psychic power of the girls is like Jean and other telepaths or it has a physical manifestation that needs to conect to work?

Not rly. They do yell out the techniques sometimes but it isn't necessary.

well, Amamiya only have to connect the team with her psi wires as u can see here. It gives them protection from mind-atks, illusions etc.

@wbr17: Since we got a deadline now, i'll just go ahead and start. @veitha Btw, what's the distance between Wolf Valley & Farmland?

So Amamiya will connect the team with her telepathic strings as shown above & it allows them to communicate telepathically & gives them protection from mind-f*ucks etc.

The team will then use their abilities to locate the enemies exact location b4 they take action.

Archer & Saber have superhuman vision & can reinforce it to see a few km away & they're also spiritual aware. Layfon also have enchanced senses & can see several miles with his telescopic vision. As a decent wind manipulator, he have the ability to sense the slight changes of the air current which means that he doesn't have any blind spots at all.

Amamiya with her psi ability can cover multiple areas & monitor the enemy's every movements at long distance.

@theorder14 I forgot to mention that Lumi, Boy Blue and Flycatcher have daredevil senses here. I edited my first post just to put it together with their summary.

Prep Time

I have one week of prep to work. My team will talk with the Magic Mirror, he will show everything about your team, we can see you and analyse them, the magic Mirror can see through universes. Also we can use other fables to gather information about your team, they can use bird and zephyrs, even Maddy, a witch specialized in tracking and hiding. That's how my team will have full wiki knowledge about your team.

With that intel, the witches of the 13th floor will start to analyse every detail about the power of your team, how it works and the source of their power.

Lumi and Flycatcher will establish their Kingdom in the Farm, that means that the battlefield will be covered by snow, it'll be extremely cold and with a continuous snowstorm. That will hinder your team senses, the cold will numb your tactile, the snowstorm your sight and hearing. Your movement and reaction can be difficult too. My team base has a mountain in front of it that already make it tougher to reach, with Lumi here the rocks will be covered with ice what will make even more difficult to your team to climb. (You'll have to prove that your team can handle that extreme environment.)

We are going to set a lot of traps around the battlefield, explosives, guns, holes, all kind of traps, those that will be covered by snow but also by concealment spell made by 13th witches, on top of that they'll add attraction spells to make your team go to those traps direction, also I want to note that we are going to infuse the traps with magic, so they can hurt the guy that is immune to normal weapons, to make things better, we can use "anti-dragon" magic on them to exploit Arthuria Pendagron (Saber) weakness. Our best trap will be the Witching Well that we are going to move to the farm, The Witching Well is a well capable to complete destroy everything that falls on it and send to an underworld. We are going to set a lot of explosives right at the starting point of your team, set to explode at the same moment that the battle begins. (You need to prove that your team can avoid all traps.) The witches will also create a diversion, concealment spell to cover my base so your team won't see it and won't get close to it. (You need to prove that you are going to be able to detect my base.)

Boy Blue will peek the Eastmark sword, a magical sword that is several magical sword in one, we are going to unite it to Boy Blue's Vorpal Sword. The Eastmark has some powers as transmutation, transformation and weaken, slowdown the opponent by touch. Flycatcher will copy all those power to him.

Flycatcher will use his new magic to unite his Unspoiled Knight armor with his Golden Knight one, both are magical, but the second cover all his body and is harder than diamond, the first he can use with excalibur. Also he'll drain all the magic of the Sacred Groove, the greatest source of raw magic in the Fables universe to add to his power. Flycatcher will copy the metamorphose power of the Witching Cloak (Boy Blue's cape). The King will also create a force field covering my base.

Bigby will take control over the winds of the farm and will demand them to work to him, that will translate in they flowing to my team noses so we can detect your team and taking away our scents so we gonna be undetected by your team sense of smell. He'll provide communicators to all of my team members.

Bellflower will give to everyone of my team a magical artifact that will protect them against illusions. She'll create a lot of spells. And right before the beginning of the battle the 13th witches will transfer their power to her.

Another important thing is that we're going to use one wish from a Djinn that is trapped in a bottle in the office to put all my team members stats in the limit of this tourney, that means all of them will have: Wonder Man strength and durability, Quicksilver speed and reflex and Wolverine healing factor.

Strategy

First of all, Bellflower and King Flycatcher will nullify your team power, they will cut the connection of each of them with the source of their power. They have done that before, and it's a common tactic in Fables. Bellflower can block the power of the 13th witches, they are all very powerful magical users. Flycatcher has blocked Mister Dark a Great Power (conceptual entity with enormous power), nullified a dragon power (I'm looking for Saber here), the Blue Fairy mind power over the wooden soldier and it established that on his kingdom anyone power just works because he allows it. We can do that because we learn about Kei, Psyren, Magic Circuit, Prana and all of the sources of your team powers. If you can't counter that your team will rely on their tech and physical power alone. The nullifying happens in a instant, actually we can set that in the prep time.

As I said above there'll be a hell of explosion (magical, "anti-dragon") on your feets right at the beginning. That will hurt with the possibility to kill your team. But at least that will divide your team.

After the explosion an army of ice creatures will raise/be created surrounding every member of your team, they are Lumi's minions (ice giants, boreal spirits and crystal beings) that all have some of The Snow Queen power, that mean they can bring more cold, insta-freeze.

While your team are busy with my minions, Flycatcher will teleport with Bellflower to your base and they will create another force field with diversion/concealment spell, so only my team can see and have access to your base.

I think that's enough to begin with.

Your team don't know each other, they don't have a strategy because they didn't get prep time, as soon at it starts they'll be attacked so they won't even have time to talk with each other, they will be fighting alone against my team and the battlefield.

My team knows everything about each other and knows your team. We also know the battlefield, it's our home and nobody invade a Fable home, the entire series is about that lol.

I have one week of prep to work. My team will talk with the Magic Mirror, he will show everything about your team, we can see you and analyse them, the magic Mirror can see through universes. Also we can use other fables to gather information about your team, they can use bird and zephyrs, even Maddy, a witch specialized in tracking and hiding. That's how my team will have full wiki knowledge about your team.

With that intel, the witches of the 13th floor will start to analyse every detail about the power of your team, how it works and the source of their power.

I doubt ur going to be able to gather info from the heroic spirits since they exist within the thrones of heroes. Chances r that Magic Mirror will cease to exist if he sees it because it's a part of akasha, the root of the universe. + How exactly would they have full knowledge of their powers? No1 in my team r stupid enough to reveal their powers just like that. Maybe they can figure out a technique or two but there's no way they're going to have full knowledge of it.

Lumi and Flycatcher will establish their Kingdom in the Farm, that means that the battlefield will be covered by snow, it'll be extremely cold and with a continuous snowstorm. That will hinder your team senses, the cold will numb your tactile, the snowstorm your sight and hearing. Your movement and reaction can be difficult too. My team base has a mountain in front of it that already make it tougher to reach, with Lumi here the rocks will be covered with ice what will make even more difficult to your team to climb. (You'll have to prove that your team can handle that extreme environment.)

Heroic Spirits like Saber & Archer aren't humans & wouldn't get bothered by it. There's also the fact that every single one in my team except Amamiya have auto-shields & some extreme cold environment won't be a problem at all. Also, Layfon have fought enemies in an environment that would have melted a normal person in seconds.

We are going to set a lot of traps around the battlefield, explosives, guns, holes, all kind of traps, those that will be covered by snow but also by concealment spell made by 13th witches, on top of that they'll add attraction spells to make your team go to those traps direction, also I want to note that we are going to infuse the traps with magic, so they can hurt the guy that is immune to normal weapons, to make things better, we can use "anti-dragon" magic on them to exploit Arthuria Pendagron (Saber) weakness. Our best trap will be the Witching Well that we are going to move to the farm, The Witching Well is a well capable to complete destroy everything that falls on it and send to an underworld. We are going to set a lot of explosives right at the starting point of your team, set to explode at the same moment that the battle begins. (You need to prove that your team can avoid all traps.) The witches will also create a diversion, concealment spell to cover my base so your team won't see it and won't get close to it. (You need to prove that you are going to be able to detect my base.)

Lol at Saber's weakness. I don't think u really understand how her powers works. + The only times she made use of her *dragon powers* was at the end of UBW & HF. All traps & such would be useless simply because of the team's auto-shields. + I don't know but how r u able to set so many traps nearby & within our base w/o the team even noticing it?

Boy Blue will peek the Eastmark sword, a magical sword that is several magical sword in one, we are going to unite it to Boy Blue's Vorpal Sword. The Eastmark has some powers as transmutation, transformation and weaken, slowdown the opponent by touch. Flycatcher will copy all those power to him.

That sounds useless against my team. Especially if it's by touch.

Yea, ur going have to post feats to back up ur claims here because i find it very hard to believe that they can nullify my team's power just like that. First off, they use magic to nullify powers, right? It's too bad since Saber is impervious to magic & the power she gets from the dragon isn't necessary for her to be able to fight. Archer & Illya too have magic defenses although not as high as Saber's. Also, being a servant of the holy grail gives them some benefits from the earth Gaia.

Layfon isn't merely controlling these hundreds to thousands of threads. They act like an extension of his own body and he can pretty much see and sense things throught each one of these threads. Notice how Layfon precisely cut only the filth monsters while avoiding the military artist students.As stated in the scans, the threads are able to easily cut the hard shells of the filth monsters which are alot harder than steel.

Pretty much every single one of my team would detect the enemies presence if they were to teleport in. Saber w/ her sixth sense, Archer's reinforced senses & low lvl clairvoyance, Amamiya w/ her psi and Illya with her ability to detect life signals.

This is why i've Amamiya connect every1 so that they can quickly communicate with each other if necessary. It only took less than 0.01 sec to communicate with her other self but it would probably takes a few sec at most to communicate with others.

Anyways, Saber & Archer do know each other so they would cooperate just fine. All my team need to know is who their allies are and enemies. Since their morals r off, they will also use lethal force.

My team knows everything about each other and knows your team. We also know the battlefield, it's our home and nobody invade a Fable home, the entire series is about that lol.

Like i've said, how does ur team get all info exactly?I'm not going to take it at face value.

@theorder14 I only have access to Fables comics in Portuguese , so if I get scans they will be in Portuguese, so I don't think it'll be useful.

Knowledge

My team has 7 days to work with. The Magic Mirror knows everything, he can see everywhere, he can foresee things, also we can travel through universes easily, so my team can travel to yours and collect all the intel they need. The 13th witches can detect your team and study their energies/powers, we can send fables to stalk you and analyse everything. With all that, I believe that my team can at least have basic knowledge about your entire team.

Traps

Again, we have 7 days before the fight to set them, you won't be there while we do that. And you need to say how can you avoid to be attracted to them when the most powerful beings on fables universe that also have magic resistance in a higher level couldn't, also how would you detect them when our concealment spells could avoid that people realized that a battle was happening in the streets of New York and neither a high level magical being could detect their presence. Also, the magic traps can hinder your team, they don't need to kill but you don't presented defense against The Witching Well complete destroyer power.

Battlefield

It doesn't matter if someone survived to the heat that would melt someone, heat resistance is different of cold resistance, a polar bear can survive in cold temperature but not in a desert. I just because someone is magical doesn't give them resistance to cold, if they never faced something similar to that we can't assume than can resist.

Nullify

I might have understood something wrong about your team powers, you can correct me. I read that Saber has dragon blood and that give her a boost that set her apart from other characters, and I understand that prana is the magic energy after it pass by the magic circuits, and the magic source can be the mana (outside) and Ob (inside). Psyren is a technique to utilize all capacities of the brain. Kei is a energy that someone has inside of them.

Bellflower needs to know the source to block them, and I believe that she will know after my team prep research. But Flycatcher doesn't need to, he is a high level magic user but he isn't a wizard or anything he is a natural user. In Fables there are a lot of different sources of power, for example, Bellflower sacrifices children, Flycatcher is divine, Mister Dark is pure darkness and fear... Flycatcher blocked Mister Dark's power and he is way above anyone here, blocked a dragon power, even his ability to fly with its wings, he returned wooden soldiers made of the most powerful source back to trees and removed the spell that made them loyal to the enemy. So it's clear that he can block power even within a character, even biological source of power. He also can block one of the most powerful items on the Fables universe so he can do it to with your kaleidostick, and the noble ghosts (they are itens according to the wiki, is it right?).

Just to compare. In comics we have seen a lot of times characters that are aliens or mutants having their powers nullified.

And a force field that block attacks doesn't secure your team against other types of magic. Have they ever faced someone that could deny their powers? And if the wiki is correct, Saber has magic resistance but it can be break by high level magic, what it's the case of Bellflower and Flycatcher.

Djinn

It's well known that Djinns can do whatever you wish them to do. So there is no problem in concede a wish to maximyze my team physical stats. It' not OP, it would be if I asked for immunity against your team, sent the Djinn to kill you or if I got stats higher than the tourney limit. Oh, and I just figure out something, we have 3 wishes, we can use one of them to get full wiki knowledge about your team.

So my team will be stronger and faster than your team, no weaklings.

Ice minions

They are just fodder but they went toe-to-toe against shadow creatures, spectres, fiends. Also Lumi can keep creating them but I'll assume that she can do it to the maximum limit of copies of the tourney (200 or 100, I don't remember) and her constructs can regenerate in second, so she can keep regenerating them. They will be a distraction and a way to weary your team. They'll be worst if you can't use your powers. Can your guy use that technique without Kei? Just keep in mind that your team is also fighting against the environment condition and trying to avoid those traps somehow, and I didn't factor my team yet.

Trapping your base

Your team starts outside your base, my instant assault will split your team, while they are busy fighting Flycatcher and Bellflower will teleport to your base (inside) and do their thing. They will be safe there. No risk. The barrier will be up instantly. I'm doing that because it's how I'll capture your base and win, you won't be able to reach neither sense your own base as you can't do with mine as well.

Phantom attack

To bring something new, Flycatcher is able to do multiple tasks without problem. He can send an army of ghosts to attack your team, attacking from inside messing with their minds, emotions, souls. That can happen while they are fighting against the minions or while they are passing by some trap, what would make things worst to your team. I know you will say that Amamiya can counter that with her powers, but you need to counter the nullifying first, later you need to argue how she will have time to do that before my instant attack, considering that she doesn't know her team members and they didn't have time to talk with each other. Does she do that in character as soon as the battle starts? Morals off isn't the same as out of character, just mean that they are willing to kill and do bad things.

Team members

Boy Blue, Bigby Wolf and Lumi are there too.

Boy Blue can just teleport in and use the vorpal sword to kill with one blow, he has more chance to win with his amped stats and senses. He can take the form of one of your team members and pretend to help one of them and kill her/him while the guard is down. Blue can BFR some of them, he can BFR Layfon and drop him on water (the wiki says that he can't swim).

Lumi and Bigby can just join the fight there are very good in this, even better when they know the enemy, had time to make plans and with their amped stats. But I'll get to their abilities if necessary.

Summarizing

You are fighting against a coordinated and experienced team with plans and counter-plans against you in their home field where the environment and the landscape is fighting against you. We are faster, stronger, more durable and outnumber you. We're going to storm your base instantly explosion, ice army, ghost attack is happening right now at the same time. No time to breath, to talk or to think, just react.

Wait what? So ur saying that just because u have prep, u can just setup how many traps u want in the enemy base? Wow, if i had know ur allowed to do this with prep then i would definitely have chosen it instead. Also, u have to prove how strong these spells r. Saber have shown to be immune to *attraction spells* & also resisted mind-control from a command spell which r giving out by an omnipotent grail. So how would ur spells affect her exactly? Illya & Archer too have high magic defense & resisted against Medusa's spell. Do u have any proof or scans that ur spells r more powerful?

Right, concealment magic. Sorry but that won't work against a servant. Even Kiritsugu Emiya who's far less weaker have dealt with those types of spells. U will have to show me how strong these spell are. Words alone won't be enough.

It wasn't heat. The environment was so polluted that normal human beings cannot survive there. Layfon & Illya have auto-shields just like a green lantern that protects them from everything so you will have to show me how this cold will affect them exactly. I believe i already said that Saber & Archer are heroic spirits & wouldn't get affected. Even though they do have blood & flesh, it's not possible for them to bleed or freeze to death. All they need is magical energy & their magic core to stay intact.

Like i said, you will have to show me some feats so i can see how exactly it works & not some baseless claims. The servants themselves needs prana to exist & it was an omnipotent grail that brought them in the *real world* so i wonder exactly how ur going to nullify their powers?Just because Flycatcher can nullify Mister Dark's power doesn't mean he can nullify my characters powers. That's kinda NFL. Can he also nullify a green lantern's power? Superman's power? The spectre?Constantine?

Prove that they can penetrate Saber,Archer & Illya's magic defenses then. Even Caster's ancient magic couldn't hurt them.

Gee, i could also do something similiar like this if i had prep but i didn't cuz i rather use the feats they have shown.Also, you used up 7 points for prep but now you get an omnipotent genie to grant u three wishes & that includes full wiki knowledge that would have normally cost 5 points? Wow, that's convenient

The problem with their stat boost is that ur team won't know how to utilize their speed. One week isn't enough for them to master Quicksilver's speed & i believe they don't have any feats going that fast. My team however actually have feats going at hypersonic + speeds. Example,

Saber crossed 4 KM in a second with the help of a command spell which temporarily gave her full power in this vid. (The version i'm using doesn't need it)

2:20 - 5:40 Archer shoots his magical arrow at Saber & the protagonist in the game while Saber simultaneous launch herself at him at 4km/sec & avoid the Mach 10 arrow mid-air. Archer's real target is the protagonist & managed to penetrate his magical shield with Hrunting. Had Saber not struck him down, the arrow would have continued & killed the protagonist. (Note that they become allies later on)

21:00 - 25:00 this part shows Archer's close combat feats even though he's a long ranger. We're looking at the battle in Rin Tosaka's perspective. A magus who can enchant her senses and movement speed. Rin is so fast she appears as a blur to normal humans. (It's stated at 19:00) Archer is many, many times faster than her.

At 28:00 - 30:30 It shows Archer and Lancer exchanging hundreds of blows and Archer getting disarmed 27 times in an instant. Yet, he was able to project the noble phantasm to keep up with Lancer's speed and close combat skill. Since we're looking it at Rin's perspective, she can narrate every details because of her superhuman senses. To any other normal human, it would look like a quick flash in that instant they exchanged blows.

8:30 - 9:50 shows Layfon's base speed and he's obviously holding back here. He faces against 2 close-combatants,a long ranger with advanced kei weapons and a telepath. His only objective is to defend the flag here so he doesn't feel the need to use any techniques to neutralize them.

The sound of a sniper rifle firing reached Naruki’s ear. Then a small explosion in the air. No, it was an explosion caused by external Kei striking down the Kei bullet. As Naruki realized that fact, Sharnid had also been tossed skyward.

Layfon walked casually back to the flag. Felli didn’t put up any resistance.

“We lost……” Naruki watched Layfon’s back with disbelief.

Tagged a hypersonic sniper Kei bullet with a needle & speedblitzed his entire team.

The problem now was that Haia was already at the very edge of the outskirt and Layfon didn’t hesitate to cancel the typhoon and kept pressing on. He had no choice but to make a swift decision. This arena had become narrow before Layfon’s overwhelming Kei. But the space of movement in front of Haia had been sealed. In that case……….? He suddenly understood his opponent’s intention.

“Fine. As you wish.”

He leaned back, his feet holding onto the edge of the city. He could just barely make out the ground far below him. When he had leaned back till a certain degree, Layfon was before him.

The Kei exploded in his feet. Internal Kei variation – Whirl Kei. Haia jumped for the city far behind him – Myath. Following close behind, Layfon also leaped off Zuellni’s edge.

They are just fodder but they went toe-to-toe against shadow creatures, spectres, fiends. Also Lumi can keep creating them but I'll assume that she can do it to the maximum limit of copies of the tourney (200 or 100, I don't remember) and her constructs can regenerate in second, so she can keep regenerating them. They will be a distraction and a way to weary your team. They'll be worst if you can't use your powers. Can your guy use that technique without Kei? Just keep in mind that your team is also fighting against the environment condition and trying to avoid those traps somehow, and I didn't factor my team yet.

Like i've said, Layfon can easily handle them himself in a split-second with his threads as i've shown. They will hardly be a distraction as Layfon can easily control each one of these threads while doing something else. As i said, they're like an extension of his body.

Your team starts outside your base, my instant assault will split your team, while they are busy fighting Flycatcher and Bellflower will teleport to your base (inside) and do their thing. They will be safe there. No risk. The barrier will be up instantly. I'm doing that because it's how I'll capture your base and win, you won't be able to reach neither sense your own base as you can't do with mine as well.

Why do u assume we're starting outside our base? Your team r the ones who starts outside theirs ya know. Really, you really gotta post some feats. Why exactly won't my team be able to use their detection abilities to locate the bases? Saber have the ability to see through most magic & Archer also have the minds eye. Concealment magic is actually a spell most magicians use in the fate series & no such magic have ever fooled a heroic spirit since they're beings above magic.

To bring something new, Flycatcher is able to do multiple tasks without problem. He can send an army of ghosts to attack your team, attacking from inside messing with their minds, emotions, souls. That can happen while they are fighting against the minions or while they are passing by some trap, what would make things worst to your team. I know you will say that Amamiya can counter that with her powers, but you need to counter the nullifying first, later you need to argue how she will have time to do that before my instant attack, considering that she doesn't know her team members and they didn't have time to talk with each other. Does she do that in character as soon as the battle starts? Morals off isn't the same as out of character, just mean that they are willing to kill and do bad things.

Again, show me some feats of this so i know exactly what i'm dealing with.

Yes, she have done so whenever she's in a team.

Boy Blue can just teleport in and use the vorpal sword to kill with one blow, he has more chance to win with his amped stats and senses. He can take the form of one of your team members and pretend to help one of them and kill her/him while the guard is down. Blue can BFR some of them, he can BFR Layfon and drop him on water (the wiki says that he can't swim).

Lumi and Bigby can just join the fight there are very good in this, even better when they know the enemy, had time to make plans and with their amped stats. But I'll get to their abilities if necessary.

I'm amazed how you think things will conveniently go your way. One thing my team is able to do is detecting bloodlust or fighting spirit directed against some1 so Boy Blue's plan won't work. So that plan will back-fire & while Boy Blue pretends to help one of my characters, they can easily one-shot him.

Err, even if he couldn't. He have the ability to manipulate the wind & could simply *fly* with his weapon or even ride on the backslashes of his own technique. So it haven't been necessary for him to swim when it's much faster & efficient using his techniques instead.

Good thing that most of my characters can assess the situation in split seconds then. In fact, i believe their reaction speed is far superior than the enemy's. Stronger? Maybe but i believe my team have greater striking power & that's what counts. Faster? Well, ur using an omnipotent being to boost your team's stats to the limit but i'll have to question how well they can use their speed. It might back-fire if they cannot control it while my team on the other hand have shown no problem moving that fast with complete control. Durable? While my team aren't extremely durable, it's a good thing they have shields to protect them from your attacks & it's up to you to prove ur team can penetrate it. Outnumber us? The thing is that ur using fodders which any1 in my team can put down in seconds so i don't think your minions will be an issue at all. Also, Layfon can create clones of himself just like Naruto's shadow clones. He could create thousands if he wanted to but that's not his style. He would rather only make 30 or so just to distract enemies & have them fight other fodders.

You also need to back your claims that they aren't affected by extremely cold weather, not dieing by bleeding isn't the same, neither not dieing by toxic environment, can you back up your claim that their shield is as powerful as GL's?

Every time a Fable gained a new power or a boost they started to use it like they always have it. They are natural in that regard. We will have no problem with our stats boost.

My bad, I thought that we start in front of our bases, you're right we start in the base. The idea always was to set traps outside the base. But the ice minions and ghosts can go their instantly, my team too by teleport if you can't counter the nullification you are going to die as it starts.

You might find a thing or two about Saber since her real identity is fameous but the thing is that u don't have any knowledge of my team during prep time so how exactly will u know who ur looking for? Also, there's no way ur going to find information about Archer because he isn't a proper heroic spirit. You will have to prove how exactly they will find the information about his identity & abilities.

Heroic Spirits are beings made of magic energy & possess a spiritual core so i fail to see how exactly you will be able to nullify them.Just because they're able to nullify the powers within the fable universe doesn't mean that they can nullify the powers from other series.Also, i believe certain conditions had to be met first before Totenkinder could nullify Geppetto. + Flycatcher was only able to nullify magic spells within his kingdom. Too bad we're not fighting there.

Heroic spirits are considered beings above magic & the three knight classes have extremly high magic defenses. You will have to show me feats of Flycatcher & Totekinder nullifying someone with higher magic resistance than the servants.

Also, the dragons in the fable universe seems extremely weak as i can see here.Even mere guns could harm & kill them & they don't seem to have any sorts of magic resistance either so it's no wonder Flycatcher could strip their powers.

Oh btw, i completely forgot one of my character possess a item that can dispel any kinds of magecraft. The Noble Phantasm, Rulebreaker. Illya could simply use it to nullify your magic to nullify.

Saber laugh at magic users & have shown to be completely immune to it. Even Caster's ancient magic couldn't affect her at all so you will have to show me magic that surpass hers. Note that each one of these spells are three times more powerful than the protagonist prana.

Also, no1 in your team even peformed the attraction spells used against Mister Dark & it was said later that he would never be able to be confined again. I've read every single issue of Fable up to date now .He's not that impressive when compared to a heroic spirit & he doesn't have lots of feats either. Only killed some featless fable bird & fodders with magic & his most impressive feat is beating Totekinder as far as i've seen. He have Claustrophobia & his mentality seems pretty weak tbh

The thing that make him seem powerful is only because of statements & because his victims fear amplify his powers, which can be easily be countered when he's up against an fearless opponent.

We can see how powerful are their spells. In other time Mister Dark could not detect them. That's impressive because he can detect thing in other universes, he is the shadow, the darkness and the fear, he is everywhere those things are.

Except seeing through a concealment magic & detecting things in other universes are two different things.

Saber, Archer & any servants have shown to easily see through concealment magic. Magicians usually setup a concealment spell whenever a fight between a heroic spirit occurs.They don't want normal people to find out about magic & have managed to keep it a secret for centuries. Ofc, the magicians also conceal their home with magic but that's useless against a heroic spirit.

In this quote, the *attraction spell* does nothing to Saber at all.

They won't have any problem fighting at extreme environment. You have yet to post a single scan of this cold weather & who it have affected.

At 2:15 fighting in an cold environment like this won't affect any servants at all. Nor against Layfon & Illya. Besides, Layfon also have a special suit he could use.

Even after three years, some fables & humans was able to survive in such environment.It might affect Amamiya but she could counter it with one of her basic psi ability called RISE but i'll get into that later. What i do know is that it won't affect any of the other 4 members at all. + Illya have actually grown up in similiar evironment.

So the weather took down some planes & affected animals? That's not so impressive & can you show me some combat feats of the ice minions? Because i didn't see a single feat of them when i read the fables comic.

I never said that they're as powerful as a green lantern shield because that would put them above the rule limits.I meant that the shields works kind like the gl auto-shields and while they actually have defensive techniques that are greater than gl shields, i won't be using them.

You know you gotta prove it. There's no gurantee they would be able to use their speed as well as Quicksilver. Just because they have shown to use another power doesn't mean they can suddenly master their speed like nothing.

How fast is instantly? Because i'm pretty sure my team are far much faster than the minions & i bet even one clone made by Layfon could solo them all. Layfon could easily destroy all the traps in split seconds with his kei threads & Illya too is capable of teleporting.

@wbr17: So far, i've only countered your points but not really listed ways for my team to win.

I guess i'll merely show you feats of my team's offensive capabilities first & it's up to you to counter it.

The heroic spirit can use their spiritual detection & senses to locate the enemy base like mentioned. Archer could then fire his Noble Phantasm & i believe no1 in your team will escape unharmed even with forcefields & the help of Djin's stat boost. This atk also affect spiritual beings so every ghost,spirits & minons of yours will be wiped out too.

I doubt your team will be able to outrun nor react to this atk. Now, i bet you think you could teleport away but it's not that simple.

Archer's arrow have penetrated Caster's Troia shield & injured her when she was trying to teleport & he wasn't even trying to kill her because she was still useful to him.

7:40 - 8:33 Archer deliberately missed Caster and simply penetrated her high level magical shield to show who's boss. The arrow distorts space itself & injured her even though it missed & it took Caster all of her magical energy to heal.

I think it's safe to say Archer can easily one-shot every last one of your team & since he have full wiki knowledge of the enemies, he can exploit their weaknesses with his tactical skills. For example, he can simply create a Noble Phantasm made of silver at low mana cost & one-shot Bigby.

Even with the stat boost from Djin, Bigby would definitely get one-shotted by a low lvl noble phantasm made of silver & Archer can shoot them repeatedly at a machinegun-like rate.

Saber too can easily wipe out every single enemy with her most powerful destructive Noble Phantasm. The Excalibur.

As it is said in this scan, it can target 1000 enemies & instantly destroy them all.

It can be used in various ways. At close-combat, a simple streak of beam that expands or an omnidirection excaliblast that cause such huge AoE, power and speed that none of your team will survive from. Fact is that they have never tanked such an attack capable of annihilating atoms. It also affects spiritual beings just like Archer's atk so the Noble Phantasm will affect the ghost minons too.

Saber completely destroys every single atom of the sea monster & even its high lvl regeneration couldn't help it.This isn't even a fully powered blast.
