Veitha's Tourney R1: Parliament Attack!(PZ vs KoZ)

Parliament incursion!

Emma Frost's team starts at the Senate Chamber, while Magneto's team starts at the House Chamber.

The Senator is talking with some other politicians inside the Great Rotunda, completely unaware of what is going on.

Emma's team has to protect him and prevent Magneto's team from killing him, starting a war. Magneto's team has obviously the main goal of killing the Senator.

As soon as they start using their powers, a series of Sentinels will be activated and they will attack both teams(not only mutants, any member of your team) and won't care about damaging the battlefield.

Standard Sentinels, willing to kill both teams. They're made of plastic and they have no pilots(so that Magneto and Emma won't just take controll of them). Your teams don't know about them till they get activated.

@primez0ne so, i am not familiar with some of your characters, so i will post about my guys and their abilities after class today

Ok I will introduce all of my characters since you aren't familiar with some of them

@primez0ne: no they do not.

@knightofzero: I will start with quick introductions since we have 5 members in our teams

Magneto (nerfed)

The Master of Magnetism, leader of the Brotherhood of evil Mutants, and one of the greatest enemies of that the Xmen has ever faced, Magneto is capable of manipulating the entire EM spectrum

Mandarin

An Iconic Iron Man villian who uses ten powerful rings to pull off great feats of power

Forge

A mutant whose power is to invent any thing he can think of and has been apart of multiple Xmen teams.

Exiles Mimic( Mach 10 speed)

A Mimic from an alternate universe who can mimic half of anyone's powers( limit 5).

Hiei (Yu-Yu-Hakusho) limited to Dark Tournament feats

A demon who is a expert swordsman and master of the Dragon of the Dark Flame technique.

Prep

Forge will spend prep time in his lab building various weapons and gadgets to help my team kill the Senator.

• Magneto helmets for everyone that also double as sight blind helmets which would allow them to see in absolute darkness

• About 10 Robots with self repair functions, flight, energy shields and equipped with Neutralizers/other powerful energy blasters

• Synapatic scramblers for Forge and Mimic

Mimic will use Forge's time machine to go back in time and absorb half of Phoenix Jean Grey's powers and come back to absorb half of Magneto's powers. He can spend the 7 days learning from Magneto on how to use his powers. the powers that Mimic going into this fight will have are Phoenix Jean Grey, Northstar, Wolverine, Colossus, and Magneto.

Meruem

He is the king of the Chimera Ants. He is the pinnacle of his species, being able to control nen like a master with a mind that allows him to pinpoint an enemies weaknesses and their own personal fighting styles, allowing him to counter and exploit the weaknesses of any enemy he finds. He was able to defeat the strongest human on the planet while staying relatively unharmed.

Killua

He is a Master assassin capable of producing lighting using nen (his aura). He is very fast and is specialized in killing people quickly. plus, he has deadpool level regeneration as per my perk.

Kirito

Kirito is the most powerful swordsman in the SAO universe. His character has been a part of many games, where he only learns new skills and becomes even more powerful.

An Omega level Telapath who can turn her body into diamonds, giving her extreme durability and strength.

Firestorm

A fire elemental who is capable of energy blasts and transmutation on a molecular level

Now, there is something that 2 of my characters (Killua and Meruem) possess, called Nen. Nen is like the "chakara" or "Ki" of the Hunter universe. Nen is someone's Aura, and it can be used in a variety of ways, though, i will focus on a few of the applications:

• En: Expanding one's aura. What this allows someone to do is detect anything that comes in contact with their aura, from insects to people. Most people can extend their aura to a few meters away from their bodies, but more powerful users (like meruem) can cover greater distances.
• In: Concealing one's aura from other people. Because nen is someone's aura, he can hide it using In. The only way for someone to see it is to use a nen technique called Go, but because none of your characters can use nen, that wont come into affect. An example of this is in the spoiler block:

Uvo cannot see the nen chains that are wrapped around him because Kurapika is using In to conceal them from sight.

• Ken and Ko. What this does is allows someone to use their nen to shield themselves from attacks. Ko allows them to allocate nen to certain parts of their bodies for both offensive and defensive purposes (like putting all of their aura into their fist for a VERY powerful punch, or around their arms to have extra defense in blocking an attack) examples are in the spoiler blocks again.

@primez0ne ah, 2 things i forgot to mention:

1. Kirito has Daredevil's radar sense, giving him the ability to have a 360 view of his surroundings at all times
2. i also have 5 predators on my team. and they all come with:
   • Cloaking Devices
   • Plasma canons (hand held and shoulder mounted)
   • Net launchers
   • shurikens
   • combat sticks and other assorted weaponry

Well, while i am at it, i will go ahead and post some of the abilities that my team possesses;

Emma Frost

Just in case anyone needed proof on how strong a telapath she is:

Finally, we get to her diamond form. i should have more to say about this later, but im going to start with this:

1: easily crack's a wall with her fist and tosses around 2 bad guys like nothing

2: stands in a fire an isnt getting hurt

needless to say, she is made of diamonds, so that is pretty damn hard to break, so he is VERY durable.

Meruem

Meruem is one of the most powerful characters in the Hunter universe. Here are some examples of his Extreme speed and durability:

He gets hit continually by this giant nen statue, getting smashed to the ground or into stone pillars, and it doesnt slow him down at all. He is able to recover and continue attacking virtually instantly.

Again, you get a better sense on how fast he is (especially at the end when both of their attacks are blurring together). And you see how after several hours of fighting, he can still attack with the same speed and still recovers and continues attacking without slowing.

Here is another instance of his insane durability:

He takes Netero's Zero Hand (literally all of his life force and nen in one giant energy blast.) to the face. And this is all that happened to him:

He is only lightly scratched. It barely did anything to him.

Now, lets move on to some of his nen abilities:

so, as i said in the earlier post, En can be used to detect things inside someone's nen aura. In this instance, the king extends his nen aura to encompass an entire palace plus a large amount of the surrounding area. He then picks 2 people out of a massive crown (because his nen detected that they wanted to harm the king) and literally in a flash, goes to their exact location and effortlessly knocks them both out (literally, one tap and they are down. they couldnt even react to him).

His own guards comment on how he just "dissapeared" before he reapers virtually instantly.

now, how big was the area he scanned and covered? this big:

if that isnt mach 10 speeds, i dont know what is.

lastly, let me show off some of his destructive power:

Kirito

Lets not waste any time with this one. lets start with his swords skills:

@primez0ne sorry, there was an error, so i couldnt finish my post, so im continuing it here, starting by finishing kirito:

Kirito

Well, as you saw from the above video, he basically soloed that boss monster.

now, to give context to that fight, that monster had just previously killed a raiding party of about 20+ high level people. Kirito and asuna come in (after adventuring all day and not being at full strength or health) and take out this boss single handedly.

Now this fight really shows off some of kirito's stats:

• (0-0:30): They say that kirito is fighting the best player in ALO (and this is only kirito's second day)
• 0:50: takes a full on hit from that giant sword and is smashed into a mountain side...and could continue fighting like it was nothing
• 1:00-1:20: Some impressive dodging skills, especially at close range
• 2:02: effortlessly breaks the sound barrier while flying
• 3:05: Blocks a sword slash when it is less than an inch away from his neck (showing off his impressive reaction time)

What this fight shows is that kirito is able to outsmart his opponents and comeback from seemily impossible fights (this one especially since he was unable to block any attacks because his opponent's sword's ability to phase though matter)

Now, lets take a look at his durability/ regen:

• 3:00: takes several attack from 7 different guys...and literally takes 0 damage. He heals more then they can damage him
• 4:14: manages to speedblitz another high level player

Now, for one of his best feats: Getting to the top of the world tree in ALO

skip to 1:05. You will see kirito plow through hundreds of armored guards with little effort (easily breaking the sound barrier) and completely destroys them.

now, what is impressive about this?" you might ask

Well, this was designed to be impossible to beat. Not "really really hard". no the game designers didnt want anyone to reach it, so they programmed the game to make it so that the guards were WAAAAAAAAY above what anyone could possibly hope to defeat. yet kirito plows though all of them like they were butter.

For my last post on kirito, we will take a look at his speed, both traveling and combat.

We already see that he can easy fly at faster than sonic speeds. but lets take a look at how fast he can move without his wings:

this is a mini game that literally no one in the GGO game can beat, meaning that kirito is vastly faster then casual bullet dodgers

• 2:58: you can see that kirito can easily dodge bullets from 10 meters away and continues to dodge as he gets closer
• 3:20: dodges 6 bullets shots at less than 10 meters away effortlessly
• 3:30 dodges several near point blank shots from a laser gun (with out any advance warning)

• 0:10: kirito manages to deflect every bullet shot at him (from an automatic machine gun) with his lightsaber
• 0:30: kirito continues to deflect bullets, doing some fancy flips and stuff while he is at it

6:30: at a distance of 10 meters, kirito manages to deflect a bullet show by a high powered sniper rifle (and those things go fast)

Firestorm:

This one should be shorter then the last one, so lets start out with his transmutation abilities;

• 4: Firestorm doenst have to be looking at something to transmute it

Lastly, lets look at his durability;

• 2-5: Takes AND returns blows from kalibak (managing to hurt him)
• 6: takes a punch from captain atom

Killua

So, i said he was a master assassin, so lets look at some of his technique:

he can also do something called rhythm echo. I will let the gif describe it for me:

That should be good for confusing his opponents.

Now, lets look at his nen abilities (all of which are lightning based)

He can empower all of his attacks with lighting (ie, surrounding his fist with lighting)

Fire giant lighting bolts at his opponents

And his best ability is called godspeed:

In case you didnt understand, let me explain the 2 parts of his power:

• Speed of lightning: It allows killua to do actions as soon as he thinks of them (instead of waiting for the brain signals to travel across his entire body)
• Whirlwind: Basically a spider-sense, allowing him to immediately react and counter any attack his opponent plans on doing.

Now, this power can only last a short time (5 seconds) BUT, it can be reset by having him absorb electricity.

Battle Plan

There will be two main parts of my plan which should be simple

1. Mandarin will use one of his rings to surround the great rotunda in darkness to blind your team. The only members of your team who will be capable of seeing will be Killua and Meruem because of their powers.

Note that the suit says that light and ultraviolet rays were being absorbed meaning you can't simply produce a light to get rid of it. My team of course will still be able to see because of the sight blind helmets which will also be blocking out Emma Frost's telepathy so my team will have the early advantage.

2. Magneto, Mimic, Hiei, and Forge with his robots can distract/intercept your team and the sentinels while Mandarin kills the senator. If the opportunity presents itself any of my team can kill the senator but for right now I will focus on the Mandarin.

Here are some speed feats for magneto and Mimic.

3.The Mandarin easily kills the senator using any number of ways some of which are shown below.

If necessary any of my team can kill the senator since all of them can use long range attacks also. The problem with your team is that they have no way of protecting the senator and half of your team are blinded so it is very doubtful they can put up much of a defense. The destruction and mayhem alone from this fight alone will very likely to kill the senator by itself.

This is just to get rid of any misconceptions that just because they are made of plastic Magneto cann't manipulate them

I will get into my team's stats in the next post but for now this should be all.

- Durability limit is being able to get hits from 100 tons characters. Healing factor limited to Wolverine's level(character limit: Wonder Man/diamond skinned Emma Frost; Wolverine);

@primez0ne first, i want to say that i like your plan and i used the same thing on the mandarin's darkness ring in another tournament.

however, there are still several flaws with your plan that i will exploit.

Though, i do have a question about the mandarin's darkness ring: If someone could produce their own light (Like Killua's lightning or firestorm's fire) would that allow them to see?

Counter Battle Plan

First off, actually even if killua's lightning and firestorm's fire cant get past the darkness, most of my team will be able to see.

Kirito has daredevil's radar sense, which would allow kirito to see even if he was in complete darkness (because daredevil is blind and he can still walk around and fight as if he could see perfectly)

Secondly, i have 5 predators, all who see the heat someone gives of (literal heat vision):

So, lets see what my team is going to do:

Emma

The first thing that is going to happen is emma is going to telepathically shield my team and prevent you from being able to detect my team via telepathy:

She is then going to take control of the senator via mind control and have them all sprint towards my location so she can shield them. Also, she will telepathically shield them from any mind assaults you might try and do.

Firestorm

Meruem:

This is where the fun comes in. As the fight starts, the first thing he is going to do is use En to find your entire team and teleport to your location.

Now, because i have basic knowledge of your team, i will know who the "weaker" members of your party are (ie, who are the least durable). That would be:

• Magneto
• Forge
• Mandarin

mainly because they are basically normal humans when it comes to that.

Meruem will show up to where your team is and immediately incapacitate these 3 guys (focusing on the mandarin and magneto first because they are the biggest threats who are easy to take out) and moving on to forge afterwards.

Your team would be caught completely off guard and wouldnt be able to react in time to stop him due to his incredible speed and element of surprise. With the mandarin gone, the darkness should no longer be an issue.

Killua

Killua's main job will be to fast travel to the senator's to guard them. he should be able to get there fast do to his reliance on his speed:

at 2:50 you can see how killua movement is fast enough that he cannot be seen by a human. and his speed is only enhanced when he uses godspeed....

Kirito:

Predators:

Conclusion:

• Emma telepathically shields my team and mind control's the senators to sprint towards my location
• Firestorm blocks your route by turning your doors into a giant concreat slab and the rest of the building into stone (negating magneto's power) and making it much harder to get to the senators.
• Meruem teleports to your location and immediately incapacitates Mandarin and Magneto instantly because their durability is not high, before turning his attention to forge and your robots. More details of his attack will come later.
• Killua and kirito will rush to the senators to defend them
• The predators will turn invisible and ambush any member of your team who manages to make it close to the senators.

@primez0ne: @veitha something to keep in mind in regards to kirito's regen is that these people who he were fighting were considerably weaker than he was and that battle healing can only work so much.

You can see in the video i showed earlier where kirito fights against the gleam eyes how he took severe damage and wasnt able to instantly go back to full health.

In case you need more proof that kirito's regen is within the limits:

Kirito loses his hand in a fight (cant find the video) and it doesnt grow back, meaning that superficial wounds (like stab wounds and slashes) will heal back quickly, but he cannot regrow limbs on his own.

I think we can both agree that the Predators are cannon fodder and 3 out of 5 members of your team still can't see. Sorry I didn't see that Kirito was the one with DD senses so I change what I said to Kirito and Mereum to being the only ones who can see.

Ok but several members of both of our teams are hypersonic so the Senator wouldn't be able to actually do anything before my team can reach him.

he is going to transmute the entire building into stone (preventing magneto from using any part of the building as a weapon). Firestorm can also block your path by turning your doors into solid slabs of concrete, meaning that you are going to need to take extra time to break through the walls...if you can.

In my opinion that is a very bad idea. Magneto is capable and shown multiple times that he can just manipulate the iron in someone's body or the electricity in one's brain.

Limiting his options will just make it so he would be more willing to use these kind of attacks and he is of course capable of doing much more. MImic too will be able to do these kinds of things since he has half of both Magneto's magnetism and Phoenix Jean Grey's telekinesis. They can simply rip off your team's arms and legs.

You have not proven yet that firestorm is faster than Magneto or Hiei so I doubt he can reach the senator before they can.

Mandarin's rings also will automatically protect him so they can protect him against Meruem teleport attack.

Here are also some durability feats for Magneto and one more speed feat

Hiei is still there too so he can also easily catch up to the senator and kill him in the unlikely event Mimic has not done so. In the next post I will get more into his role in the fight.

• As shown both Mandarin and Magneto are very durable and capable of reacting to Muruem
• Mimic is capable of taking them both out but Hiei can help too
• My team has sight blind helmets which allows them to be aware of their environment without sight and the predators can do nothing to any of my team except Forge. They can be taken out by Forge's robots.

In conclusion no one on my team but maybe Forge will be able to be downed in this fight and anyone of my team is more than capable of killing the senator.

@primez0ne first off, you never answered my question on whether or not killua's lighting or firestorm's fire could illuminate the darkness. if it can, then the darkness aspect is basically rendered pointless because so far there is no evidence to show that it wouldnt work.

secondly, you havent said how you plan on stopping meruem from instantly KO'ing the mandarin and magneto. He will teleport to your location instantly and take out 2 if not 3 members of your team instantly, leaving you only with hiei and mimic. you havent shown anything to suggest that they can react to hypersonic attacks. So this basically renders everything that magneto and mandarin can do useless.

3rd i have shown that firestorm's transmutations are instantaneous:

he doesnt even have to have sight to do his thing

so right as the match starts...BAM...your doors are concrete blocks. and the rest of the building will follow suit (not that it matters because at this point, magneto is probably down for the count)

With your doors now made out of concrete, this should delay your team enough for me to get there first. That AND Meruem teleporting in to wreck your team. now, there are 1 of 3 ways that this is going to go:

1. your remaining team (forge, hiei and mimic) will turn their focus away from getting to the senators do deal with the giant green bug monster who just took out 2 of their teammates. This will allow my team to get the senators to safety while your team deals with meruem. Meruem should be able to tank your attacks with relative ease (seeing as he managed to take thousands of punches from a giant golden nen statue at high speeds and suffer very little damage. He will be shielded from tp attacks by emma and if you use tk to lift him into he air, he can still use his rage blast in your room:

2. Your team ignores meruem and tries to break through the doors to get to the senators. The delay for you to break through the walls will be enough for my team to get to the senators to safety while meruem can continue his assault from his position (taking out forge and the robots with little effort). this senario is the most unlikely because it would leave your team open to complete domination by meruem, which i doubt your characters would allow to happen.

3. you keep 1 person behind to deal with meruem while the others deal with the senators. This is a more likely scenario, which will change depending on who you send and who you keep. i can better predict what will happen once i know what your plan of attack is and how meruem will deal with the person you send to take him out.

Now, in regards to mimic using TP on my team, Emma frost should be able to counter that fairly well. She was already stated by several people that she is at least as strong a telapath as Jean. And seeing as how you only have half of the phoenix force, emma should be able to counter act that with her own TP (seeing how she was able to completely beat rachel grey in a TP battle)

i will continue my counter attack once you have addressed how you will deal with these issues

Note that the suit says that light and ultraviolet rays were being absorbed meaning you can't simply produce a light to get rid of it. My team of course will still be able to see because of the sight blind helmets which will also be blocking out Emma Frost's telepathy so my team will have the early advantage.

His own suit was saying that it absorbs light and had to switch to sonar/radar.

edit: the more I think about it the more certain I am that Kirito would be the only one who can even be aware of his surroundings in this scenario.

anyway, until that is addressed, let me follow up on my last post by commenting on the feats that you added (the edit feature on my posts isnt working, so i have to do it in a new post)

I think we both agree that forge goes down with little resistance, so i wont talk about that that much.

As for magneto's reaction time (which is impressive), it wont be enough to prevent the king from getting to him:

In this video, you see knuckles (the guy in white pants) and how fast he is (able to speed bliz gon (who is crazy fast in his own right, being able to dodge bullets)). He vanishes constantly and is over all very fast.

And guess what? the king speed blitz him like it was nothing (i hate to re use scans, but this one helps get my points across):

he appears before Knucles (who is trying to run away from the palace to get to the king) and knocks him out instantly (with a well placed shot to a pressure point, knocking him out). Then in the next instance, he takes out Merlon (at faster than the speed of thought, seeing as the exact quote is "before merleon could even thing to use his power (which, to activate is simply holding his breath), he fell too".

Now, meruem will appear behind magneto and pressure point him, taking him down instantly (while he can take a blast from iron man, he is still suspetable to pressure points) and so should mandarin (again, big difference between that and a punch to the face)

Conclusion:

• Meruem is faster than magneto's reaction time
• Pressure point attacks from meruem should take out mandarin and magneto, despite their durability
• You still have a wall of concrete to get past before you can take out the senators
• Forge is a non-factor and will go down pretty quickly

He clearly couldn't take many more blows since as soon as Thor arrived he ran from the battle and Thor himself has said that he holds back on Midgard. I doubt the blows were planet busting or anything anyway but Mandarin would still only be able to have the max durability allowed in this tourney.

Magneto is capable of using a shield wrapped around his body for protection which would only make sense for him to already have since he has prep and has basic knowledge on all of your team.

Also he is more than fast enough to tag Meruem considering he has tagged Northstar who would easily break this tourney's speed limits. The same speed limit both of our team's are under.( same scan I used in my battle plan)

Now, in regards to mimic using TP on my team, Emma frost should be able to counter that fairly well. She was already stated by several people that she is at least as strong a telapath as Jean. And seeing as how you only have half of the phoenix force, emma should be able to counter act that with her own TP (seeing how she was able to completely beat rachel grey in a TP battle)

When is this supposed to happen? You said Muruem would teleport to my team's location as soon as the fight starts and have stated that he is faster than thought. Emma Frost would not have the time or the reason to actually telepathically shield your team because she wouldn't even know Mimic was a telepath. You only have basic knowledge that would not alert your team to anything my team gained during prep. The first thing she would most likely try to do is as you said force the Senator to run away or mind rape my team because as far as she knows only Magneto is resistant to telepathy. The only thing she would find though is that all of my team is shielded.

So add mind rape to the list of ways Muruem can go down very early in the fight.

You would literally have to claim that he would be moving faster than the speed limit for this to happen.

Muruem would fail to take out Magneto and then get ripped in half, mind raped, or held down with TK which would leave him open for attacks.

• You still have a wall of concrete to get past before you can take out the senators

All of my team members can easily punch through concrete. I doubt wall would last past a second
