Neither can Vic or Vince...and Micky and Mallory at least killed people with guns. Say what you want about their intelligence..Vince and Vic have no great showings of brain power either. Bottom line is...they have the better feats. Vincent only killed 3 people in the movie and one was an accident. We never even saw Vic kill anyone...but apparently he killed a few cashiers and maybe a couple of cops. We know Mickey and Mallory have a much higher death toll...and more varied ways of killing.

Neither can Vic or Vince...and Micky and Mallory at least killed people with guns. Say what you want about their intelligence..Vince and Vic have no great showings of brain power either. Again how difficult was it to kill those people? How did it show their skill? Vince killed people with guns, I don't see what that has to do with anything at all. Mickey was a good marksman, Mallory was a wild psychotic murderer. And they're at least trained killers, Vincent at the least being a hitman. He's not unintelligent, and is trained enough to need though on how to make killing him successfully work with Vincent being prepared. But they can't think very well, because...well..they're again, stupid.

Walking out the front door of a prison seemed pretty smart / bad a$$ feat at the time. They are far smarter than the other two. Also intelligence isn't that big of a concern in this battle. Whoever has the better shot is gonna win. And Mickey has the best stare down shoot outs here.

All in all, the main point is: Mickey/Mallory and the Vega Brothers are both trained in killing people, especially Vincent due to being a hitman, and requires some wits in order to win this. Mickey and Mallory don't have any wit, so in my opinion the Brothers could just outsmart the two..plus Vincent is walking PIS at times, at least when he's shown to be prepared. Which he is.

Leaving Witnesses alive was part of their signature...It's a style thing. They wanted the police to know who they were...they wanted everyone to know. They wanted the fame. It's not stupid...it's crazy.

Vincent can speak fluent sentences, Mickey and Mallory were uneducated. Yes. And no, it's poor tactics and easily led for them being hunted down on a national manhunt, and even when they knew they were doing that, they still went out and seduced and did whatever they please and risk getting caught even more. Yes, they're much more unintelligent, they're supposed to be.

The very fact that it took a national manhunt to track them down proves that they must be at least a little bit capable. Vincent got his own ambush turned against him by a guy that gets punched in the head for a living.

They escaped prison...again that shows they must be at least somewhat capable. Vic and Vincent have nothing even comparable.

I certainly don't see any evidence that the Vega Brothers "outwit" anyone.

@Shawnbaby: The cops had no idea about Vincent and Jules throughout the entire movie, and they didn't walk into situations where they could endanger themselves and their chance at getting caught. I don't see how Mickey and Mallory have the wits to contend with anyone, they're talented, but they need more then just talent.

And you keep skipping the part where they keep getting themselves caught after they release themselves to all that fame. They couldn't keep themselves concealed enough from the public eye to at least go to a gas station? But that's not all they did at the gas station.

The Vega Brothers were at least averagely educated compared to Mickey/Mallory. He made a mistake while they compromised, again you skip, that they compromised themselves too many times for many idiotic reasons. Mickey was able to break out of prison through almost luck and taking advantage of incompetent guards through the use of jokes.

In what way is that stupid? Having sex makes you stupid? It didn't lead to them getting caught. They are mass murdering serial killers who escape a national wide manhunt. And you can say the escape is just because of dumb guards and luck, but their capture is just because of rattle snakes and bad luck.
